Animosity

One glance at the Farside Farers would tell you just how arrogant they were whilst they're on their own turf, naturally, they had the prowess to back it up. The Holyhead Harpies seemed like quite the prideful bunch and all had smiles plastered upon their faces making them look rather lovely.

The Farside Farers had a uniform that consisted of gold and black colouring with a decently sized jet black crown placed in the middle of the chest and back area on the robes. The Holyhead Harpies had a dark green colouring with a small Harpy claw placed atop two brooms as their logo presenting them.

The amazing thing was that neither side seemed quite old at all, the oldest amongst them looked to be around 14 years of age. It seemed as though they had stumbled upon a younger league for their first Quidditch match to spectate.

Once the crowd began to calm down slightly, bare in mind there was at least around 50 or so wizards here all spread out around a rather large Colosseum style arena, the referee called for the teams to start organizing themselves into position before asking for both teams to pay their respects and then blowing the whistle to start the game.

The game started off rather simply with both sides sending the Quaffle around frequently, they seemed to be rather even in terms of skill level so far which made the game come to somewhat of a stalemate.

This didn't last for long however as the Holyhead Harpies slowly got use to the pace of the game and the new location they were in, it took a while to settle into things after all. Once they did, one of the girls managed to score a point for their team leaving the Farside Farers with slightly ugly expressions.

Harry was getting very devoted to this game and even began cheering and chanting loudly at certain points for the Holyhead Harpies, however, he might of got a little too excited as his voice was reverberating across the Colosseum causing for a lot of people to start cheering too. It seemed as though the Farside Farers wasn't too pleased for this and had even started to play a bit dirty, with a few fouls here and there such as elbowing the Harpies, intentionally getting in the way of their seeker and even going as far as to pull on the end of their broomsticks causing some of the Harpies to almost lose balance and fall.

As this sort of scene went on, a lot more people in the crowd started booing towards the Farside Farers for playing so disgustingly on their own turf against another country's team. However, this only further proved to cause the Farers even more distress making them play worse.

The game kept going on like this, the Farers would score now every once in a while bringing the game back up to a stalemate whilst finally, the Golden Snitch had been released and was seen floating silently in the sky, both Seekers swiftly made their ways towards the Golden Snitch whilst desperately chasing it down.

At this point, the bludgers started to get thrown around a lot more frequently, even to the point where it was starting to get a little dangerous, every so often you would see a bludger scraping near a players face almost sending them flying off of their brooms. The tension was getting rather high with both teams in a desperate dead-lock, when suddenly, a bludger was sent from the Farers side deliberately towards the Harpies Seeker, which she barely managed to avoid.. however, the bludger didn't stop there, it continued to travel very quickly... straight towards where Harry was standing and cheering.

Harry's face dropped abruptly at the oncoming bludger but he quite simply had no time to react, by the time Euphemia and Fleamont had pulled out their wands to stop the bludger, it was already too late. Harry was hit dead on in his abdomen, leaving for a very exasperated and teary eyed Harry, the pain was truly excruciating for him. Euphemia hurried over to help Harry whilst Fleamont stood up looking angrily trying to find just who it was that did it whilst all the spectators, referees and even the players themselves were looking on with shock.

Harry had already past out from the overwhelming pain leaving him sprawled up in a ball in Euphemia's arms, Fleamont having finally found out who it was, glared at the boy who appeared to be one of Farers bludgeons but did nothing more than that. This incident could be said to be an accident at least in respect to Harry being hit so he couldn't really do anything more than have a chat with the Referee to see if they could sort something out.

Amazingly, the Farside Farers team captain actually tried to start the game straight away as though Harry being hit was completely irrelevant and the problem had nothing to do with them, when the Holyhead Harpies team captain saw this, she requested for a time out so they could check on the condition of Harry, most of their team had already made their ways over to the spectator stand and was standing around Harry and Euphemia asking if he was okay. The boy who had hit Harry with a bludger merely snickered at this with his teammates and started to complain with his teammates whilst laughing wildly.

The Referee's and spectators found this horrendous but there wasn't too much they could do in an official match, it was more to the discretion of the two teams competing. What no one had noticed was the sudden drop in temperature, rain started coming down in a frenzy with signs of thunder erupting through the clouds. Euphemia was too busy paying attention to Harry and checking on whether he was okay or not to realise that the sudden cause of temperature drop actually came right from beside them... right from Philip.

Fleamont having noticed this was slightly worried, he had never seen Philip look so angry in his entire life, he could tell the boys eyes were pinned on the Farers bludgeon the entire time not even sparing a glance at Harry, his eyes were too calm yet you could feel the anger radiating from him at the same time.

The girls surrounding Harry and even Euphemia had finally noticed where the animosity was coming from, a small 10 year old boy slowly standing up producing so much anger was something entirely new to them, no, these girls had never felt animosity on such a level before.
