The Journey Though the Forest of Fright

Morgone landed Zorgone just outside a densely wooded forest, The trees in this forest had little to no leaves on them and are covered in twisted dark green vines.

Where Morgone was standing was a bright sunny day, but inside an aura of darkness consumed the forest and absorbed all light causing it to be as dark as night.

. The forest was created out of ancient dark magic and is full of evil creatures that were exiled to live in this Forest.

Outside of this forest was an old sign made of splintered wood that was falling into pieces. Morgone walked over to the sign that was covered with the same twisted dark green vines that covered the trees in the forest, much of the text had become slurred and unreadable due to age.

The only legible part of this ancient sign with the name of the forest, Morgone bent down and read the name of the forest

"The Forest of Fright."

Morgone turned to his Hydra and said " I will be back soon just be ready to leave." The Hydra nodded his head then laid down knowing that he would have to wait for his master.

Morgone entered the Forest of Fright. Once Morgone entered the Forest of Fright the outside entrance sealed itself shutting out all outside light.

"Well, no turning back now." Morgone said as he pressed onto the dark forest listening to the crunch of the leaves and the snapping of the many animal bones. He heard small animals running through the brush.

Morgone shivered as a cold wind brushed past him sending a chill down his spine. But Morgone was not afraid, for he had been here more than once said he knew what to expect out of all the creatures, tricks, and traps that happen in the forest.

Morgone knew everything about the Forest of Fright. He even knew something that only certain few know about this forest. The secret was, that the forest changes and is the never is the same thing twice.

"Die!" Die!" shouted two winged harpies from a tree. Morgone picked up a rock and threw it at the harpy and shouted "Die yourself you winged witch!" One of the harpies fell to the ground dead the other two harppys let out a bloodcurdling scream.

Morgone looked up and saw that in the sky were thousands of harpies screaming at the top of the lungs as the storm of harpies.

Descended on Morgone with their long sharp sword like claws and their blade like teeth extended tearing at his flesh causing blood to run from his body

A harppy cut his right arm Morgone looked at the gash and the blood spilling from the wound

The feeling he got from this was not fear, nor anger. But joy seeing the sight of blood even his own

. Thrilled him to the very core he knew this feeling Morgone had felt it once before.

In a sparing match when he was very young against his oldest brother, Ralingar how even now countless years later he despised his older brother.

They fought everything was fine until Morgone smelled death this smell triggered a reaction in him that was violent and evil.

Morgone can still remember the smell rottoning and intense a smell that transformed into bloodlust and death.

Morgone put his sword away once he did Morgone procedure along the blood soaked path

As Morgone was traveling through the forest of fright Morgone said to himself "Yes my theory is correct the more time I spend here the more powerful I become.

Soon the first part of my plan will be complete for world absorbed all the powers from all seven dark power crystals atop the Dark Spire I will then be one step closer to my ultimate goal."

Morgone stopped when he reached a large door that is made of Darkiorement with is an unbreakable dark magical material Morgone looked at the door and saw that had many different symbols on it most that he could not read and in ancient text on the top read

" This is the Door to the Realm of Morphazar ruled by the Spider King all who enter this realm most worship him or perish."

As Morgone read this warning the doors opened to reveal a long stone path that lead to a large mountainous realm. As Morgone walked down the long stone pathway. He saw a huge castle with tall dark stone towers looming over all of Morphazar.

Morgone was pleased as to see this Castle he said excitedly " Ah this is the castle of the Spider King. All I need is his permission to go to the Spire. Then I will be one step closer to my goal."

Morgone reached a huge stone gateway that read in large letters " THE GATEWAY OF THE SPIDER KINGDOM" Morgone read the inscription and then entered the spider kingdom as he thought " I hope that the Spider King has not forgotten about the deal we made."
