Lightning user!
"Are you ready?" The father asks me.
"Yea yea get it over with already!" I tell him, trying to give off a confident aura.
The father creates a yellow energy sphere, the size of his palm and throws it at me! The power of the sphere was as strong as a level 10 strength. I encase my right hand with my aura, making it show a little frost since the aura is of the ice type.
Afterwards, I simply smack the energy sphere away from me, to the air which then made a small explosion.
Next another energy sphere was created but instead, it was made of electricity! A ball of electricity was made from the palm of his hand! So he is a lightning user...thank god he wasn't a fire user, dodged a bullet there.
The power of the ball of electricity was that of a level 20 but it was still too weak for me, so I smacked it away but with a little more force then previously and it discharged after a few meters in the air.
The father smiled and then sparks of lightning start to be shown throughout his body. Generally, lightning users have yellow electricity but the lightning hero can use yellow electricity but they can also use blue lightning which is far stronger than the general lightning.
The electricity focused on his right arm, with a clenched fist, he punched, sending a bolt of lightning to my direction with the power of level 30!
I use the [flow control] to envelop my aura around me to increase my body strength and face it head-on!
Boom!
The collision created an explosion of electricity but I still managed to be fairly unscathed however before I got my breath back, he immediately shot out another bolt of lightning with his left hand which had the power of level 40!
This time I use [flow Burst] which is meant to be used in contact with another body but since it releases a burst of energy, it still should be able to at least decrease the damage I take.
Right before I collide with it, the lightning split into five!
"Wait for wha-"
Before I could understand what happened the five pieces split again into ten and all of them hit me from different directions!
Boom!
The collision led to another explosion of dust and electricity!
"Father! Don't you think that was dirty!"
"If he is unable to adapt to a change in a situation he is too weak to help us!"
"Truly well-done sir! Putting him in his place, now lets hope he understands how idiotic he is trying to claim he can make a change when we couldn't!"
Man...how weak do they think I am?
Once the dust settled, all the spectators were surprised to see me still standing!
That attack did catch me by surprise but luckily my body was already strengthened by [flow control] and since my aura is of the ice element, bit of my body are covered in hard ice and my level being close to level 40 also played a part of me surviving! With all these factors I managed to tank the hit but sadly I couldn't come out completely unscathed. I could feel sparks of electricity around my body which will slow down my reaction time!
"hohoho, Well done surviving that attack. Are you ready though? The next two attacks are way above your level" The father says to me while rubbing his beard.
So he knew my level the moment he saw me.. Even though I tried to hide, he managed to see it. He must have good perception skills then, well I wonder if I can even survive a level 50 and 60 attacks. That guy with the 'God hand' move was way stronger then a level 40 and I barely managed to beat it, so his next attack should be around that strength and if I do manage to survive it then what about the level 60 attack?
Maybe..just maybe if I use that move again for his level 60 attack, I might be severely damaged but I should still be able to tank the hit!
"Cmon! Hit me with the next attack!" I demand from him with a burning passion!
As per my request, the father stretched his hand and a yellow magic circle appeared! Right afterwards magic circles started to appear in the air around me!
The magic circles around me started to electrify and then their electricity started to link up with each other creating a sort of chain between them.
"Lightning chain!" He called out and broke the magic circle near his hand!
The circles activated and 10 lightning energy strikes at me!
Bzzzz!
Urgh!!!! Overwhelmed by the lightning strikes, my entire body begins to tremble!
Focus!focus!focus!
I use the energy that's striking me down to go around every fibre of my body! I need to keep this power inside my body to survive the next strike!
From the force of the lightning, it leads me to kneel on one leg!
Bzzzzzz!strkkkkk!
My body is unable to hold all of this power! Crap!
"Urghhh!" I shout out in pain!
I completely freeze my right arm and smash it to the ground! The immense power that I can't hold on to is then redirected to the ground that my arm is in!
Clenching my teeth, the excessive energy is directly sent to the ground as earth counters electricity!
After around 30 seconds, though it felt like 30 minutes the 'lightning chain' stopped.
The clothes on me have mostly been torn and you could even see blood on parts of my body.
"Hurry up and attack me!" I call out to him!
My body is currently enveloped in electricity that is causing me constant damage as right now holding so much power inside myself isn't recommended! However, I need this energy to combine it with mine to have a chance to execute the move.
"intresting.." The father mutters and then raises his hand which a magic circle appears but this one has a star in the circle. Small Dark clouds start to gather on top of me in the sky.
"BURST LIGHTNING CRUSHING STRIKE!" He shouts out with all his might!
Next moment the cloud starts to frantically emit electricity and then a beam of lightning is released aiming straight below!
All the energy I have gathered is sent to my right frozen palm with the remains of my own energy and with a few elegant movements I use the inferior move that combines [flow control] and my own knowledge!
Ying Yang Neutral Flow!
My move and his move collide! Creating a large shockwave across the forest!
The force of the shockwave even managed to push the spectators! The force between us caused the ground to break apart, ruining all the nice flowers and nature around the garden!
After the shockwave, due to the imbalance between both energies, an explosion was created that stretched far and wide!
"h-how did he face that level of attack"
"Is he actually an expert!"
"Could he be a noble too?"
"Even we would struggle countering that even though we are above level 60"
"Wait! We don't know yet if he is still standing!"
A lot of commotions could be heard between the spectators.
Just yesterday I talked about not pushing myself too much and yet here I am...pushing myself.
Truly I am surprised it worked, though I have sustained a lot of damage as I couldn't completely neutralise his attacks as I was a little short to match his attack's frequency but I did enough to last his attacks.
My entire body is bloodied and the clothes they gave me are basically destroyed except for the leggings which are extremely short now. The bluestone on my chest is tainted in my blood and don't even talk about moving as currently, I am stuck in place.
The smoke from the explosion has subsided and everyone is now able to see my state. Oh, right I forgot to mention that the ground around me has been completely destroyed that there is basically a 50ft crater around me with only a little piece of land that has my feet embedded in remains. I had to direct some of the power to the ground which lead to the earth to be destroyed around me severely.
"He actually lasted Ian's attacks!" One of the four idiots said.
Clap! Clap! Clap!
The father claps after the dust cleared with a big smile on his face.
"Well done! Alright let's work together and I will make sure to reward you handsomely"
"Maids! Take him to a private room and treat his wounds!"
Once he finished congratulating me, he told some of the maids to take me and treat my wounds which I had no objections to of course, since I want to conserve my health potions as I am not sure how many I have. Haven't had the time to thoroughly check but let's hope these kind of injuries aren't going to be a frequent occurrence.

While Jack was being treated to his injuries,
The father who is named Ian ordered some of the spectators like the four vampires that gave Jack a hard time.
"Are we really going to trust him, Ian!" One of the four-spoke out once they all entered Ian's office.
"Yes, he is capable and if he can take down that barrier then it will help us out greatly!"
"We would be able to beat them if it wasn't for them also having a noble vampire like me" Ian continued to speak.
"You know since they have someone like that, only I can handle him but since none of you is able to enter the barrier then I would be swarmed and inevitably killed. If he says he can take the barrier down then he is our only hope right now!"
Finally, the four vampires understood that they need Jack if he is able to do what he claims. After some more talk, they left Ian's office but then someone else walked in.
It was the maid that was with Ian's son!
"*sigh* you can take that hood off now, there is no one else here," Ian said.
The maid took of her snow white hood and crimson red hair was shown! Once the hood was off, the "maids" feminine body started to shape to a more masculine and taller build! Now what was in front of Ian was a red eyed, red hair, tall, annoyed guy giving off a dominating aura. In fact compared to his aura, Ian's is like a mice against a lion!
This maid was a man!
"Why on earth did I have to be a maid" The man asked with a far deeper voice then when he was Lily.
"Well Chris prefers to take maids out ahaha " Ian's answered with a nervous laugh.
"Argh babysitting your child is a pain! Acting weak is such a embarrassment! Don't forget why we are in this continent with mortals! Have you made any progress?"
"*sigh* sadly no, it's difficult to get any information on her whereabouts with the blood vampires around. They have a noble with them so I assume they aren't native to this continent like us, they must be searching for her aswell" Ian's answered with worry.
"Listen, Ian, our mistress is becoming impatient, if you don't get any clues soon then mistress might come here herself and you understand why that's bad right?" Folding his arms, the man said with impatience and worry in his tone.
"You also know what will happen to your child if you can't find a lead to her whereabouts right?" The man continues to say.
"Yes... it's why your here...not to be a bodyguard but to watch him and myself"
"Believe me, if I could I would help you deal with those damn blood vampires but I am not allowed to use my strength in this continent and even you have to seriously hold back if you use your powers."
The man turned around after saying those words and just as he was about to leave he turned and said.
"oh..that guy that came..."
"Yes, I've noticed it too, he is human yet gives off the vibe of a vampire, I believe it's caused by that bracelet of his."
"I wonder...if he has been in contact with her. Having an item of that value can't just be found anywhere."
"Yes I also thought about that possibility which is why I am keeping an eye on him already" Ian said.,
The man nods as if giving approval; then fire started to envelop him and he turned back into a maid!
After he leaves, Ian was alone in his office and he reaches for a cabinet while getting a glass and pours some alcohol.
"*sigh* I am so tired"
