Treasured book.

"Need any help sir?" A short woman, staring up at Jack asked.

Jack casually conversed with the short women and asked where he can find what he needs. He didn't try to make any smart remarks or look down on her as she was probably one of the strongest in this store. Plus she is doing her job, so it's not like she was looking down on Jack.

After a few seconds, the women directed him through the store to one particulate case.

It had a silver coloured crystalised pill which Jack immediately got its information.

[ Once the user absorbs the pill. They will learn the knowledge of creating a sigil in their inner self which can purify foreign energy!]

[advantages: Once the user has created the sigil, it will permanently reside and allows user to grow at a faster rate]

[drawbacks: Though the user understands the way to create it does not mean they can create it. Depends on users experience, patience, power etc

'This is it!' Jack found what he needed; immediately checking the price.

You have to be joking! I can't even buy the damn thing! Seeing the price, Jack was in distress that he wouldn't be able to utilise the enormous power handed to him.

The short women had sharp eyes and could see Jack's shock of the price. "Dear customer, if you would like you can place a deposit of half the amount, allowing you to pay the rest later and this item will be saved to your name" The woman gave a smile while talking fluently as if she is used to situations like this.

"Is there any other way to save it to my name?" Jack did not have 2500 gold to make such a deposit.

" I am sorry but other than buying the product, it's the only way"

Jack could do nothing else but hope no one needed the [Essense formation] until he could earn enough money. He asked the women to guide him around the library which she complied.

They went upstairs to be greeted with another large room filled with shelves containing rows of books. She showed him around the different ends of the room and showed a few locations to specific genres.

Just like before, Jack asked to be shown the location of a book containing anything energy control related.

She walked him towards where he needed to be and Jack began to look at the books offered.

Various book titles popped up in front of Jack when he looked over a book. Some had unique titles while some were very weird.

However he couldn't find a book with detail on how to purify energy. How unlucky could I be? Jack thought, feeling disappointed.

"You…..chosen…..open….."

"What was that?" Jack asked the women, looking startled.

"What's what?" The women looked at Jack with confusion.

"Come…..She…..notice…..soon….."

Jack looked around and began to run, trying to find the source. The woman was startled by his sudden behaviour and chased him.

"Right...forward...right...left…"

Jack followed the voice's direction and as he got closer, the woman began to notice a disturbance. She closed in on Jack preparing to subdue him.

"Quick...she...notice"

Jack ran straight between the rows of shelves and saw a dark blue glow.

Though the woman could not see a glow, she is able to sense the source of the disturbance. 'No way...is that..' before finishing her thought, she immediately cast a spell.

'Sand tomb bind' A sand-coloured aura was emitted from her and the ground around her turned to sand. She stretched her hand towards the running Jack and the sand around her flew towards him.

The sand quickly enveloped Jack before he reached the book and the sand shot upwards, trapping Jack in it's palms.

"Shit!" Jack, covered from shoulder to toe in a storm of sand, said.

"Sorry sir but we can't let you touch the book however we must thank you for exposing this valuable treasure to us." The woman said in a grateful tone while looking up at Jack with a smile.

"If you think….that I will allow you to take a so-called treasure...which you people didn't even know til now. You are mistaken if you think I am just like any other adventurer"

Jack releases the entire store of his ice energy to completely freeze his binds. The sudden release created a frost smoke covering a large radius. The sand binds cracked into pieces and the woman recast her spell but Jack was already too close to the book.

"You better be worth it!" He took out the book and opened it. Immediately the dark blue glow turned dark purple, giving off a light that envelops Jack.

"No!" The woman shouted, shooting out her 'sand bind tomb' but the burst of light from the book completely nullified her attack.

The purple light slowly faded away, showing Jack's figure but with purple frost emitting from him. His appearance slightly changed to having purple coloured hair and instead of his right eye glowing light blue, it glows purple. He drops the book and looks towards the woman while laughing maniacally.

"Hahaha….free...power….immense" A purple aura releases from Jack violently around him, startling the woman.

"Oh no...is he possessed? Or become a maniac from the treasure!" The woman began to question the sudden mannerism of "Jack" and the insane power increase from him. The woman releases her aura completely. The sudden impact from the two, startles the rest of the customers and the workers immediately evacuate them to safety.

"Jack" turns to the woman; stomps his right foot, releasing spikes of purple ice towards the woman. The woman jumps to the side.

'Earth shatter' the woman charges near Jack and the ground around them shakes and crumbles beneath them.

Both of them fell down to the ground floor but the woman sank into the floor, leaving a pile of sand.

"Don't make any sudden movements. You're surrounded" one of the workers said to Jack who is standing up from the crash.

As the worker said, Jack is surrounded by more than twenty people with all of them being at least level 50.

"Hail Storm" A purple magic circle appears under Jack's feet; creating a hemisphere of purple frost wind that gets bigger around him at an increasing rate. The entire room shortly becomes covered and everything in the spell starts to freeze quickly including the workers.

"Ice Domain" Jack's right eye glows brightly and the frost wind begins to blow furiously, increasing in power by more than double! The frost storm completely freezes everything inside it.

The frost storm is dispelled by Jack with only purple ice sculptures of the workers and a complete field of purple ice covering the entire floor. Seeing the entrance, Jack walks towards it.

However Jack couldn't move! He tried but noticed his feet wrapped in sand!

"Why….Not….Freeze" "Jack" was surprised this sand lasted from his absolute freeze but then the woman appeared from the frozen ground.

"You have really caused a lot of damage, dear customer" The woman calmly spoke to "Jack". However her "customer" did not feel like speaking and shot a beam of purple ice energy from his mouth!

Sand dome' Sand surrounds the woman, glowing with brown energy but engulfed in the ice energy beam. The dome of ice freezes but quickly shatters with the woman unscathed.

The two clash with their powers, shaking the entire iced building from their impacts. Jack sends out chains of purple ice to restrain her but she sinks into the sand every time to avoid it.

Though the woman is being pushed back, her plan is successful as her main objective is to prevent Jack from leaving the store and wait for backup. As their battle goes on, more top experts are making their way towards the store to suppress Jack.
