what actually happened part 2.

[ A/N: Sooooo it's been a long time since my last update approximately  a year and quite frankly I was not expecting to take such a long break, this was uncalled for. A lot of things happened and it was a very difficult time for me, it took some time to recover . I at one point thought I was never going to write and had almost given up you know. But out of nowhere I got the inspiration to write again. So I had to revise what I wrote and man was it full of errors I remembered I was so lazy that I used speech to text format and never edited it so those who have read the unedited version SORRY MAN.

At last I would like to thank longtime  readers who still  have this book in their library I didn't think anyone would keep it in their library for such a long time without any updates so THANK YOU  to those 10  people love you guyz or girls ]

"ROOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR".

As Daliya was about to move she heard a very frightening roar this caused her to become paralyzed in place with fear and she became unable to move despite her vigorous efforts. Her legs were just pinned to the ground. Fear started to grip her heart even more fiercely as she desperately tried to move her feet with all her might, at this point in time she wished nothing more then to just run back the way she came, she so desperately wanted to go back to her home where  her little princess  was waiting for her, she wished that she had never entered the forest and just heeded her husband's advice to not go to into the forest today and just rest for the day as she was visiting the forest regularly.

As She was remembering her husband's words she suddenly remembered some thing he had mentioned to her a few weeks earlier. She remembers him mentioning something about a strangely large paw print of an unknown animal, from the remnant energy in the air her husband deduced it to a very powerful demonic beast, in fact he had explicitly stated that it was likely strong enough to be easily able to destroy a large city.

So he had warned her to not to go towards the direction of the deep forest although he also said that since the energy was barely detectable it likely ment that the demonic beast had moved on long ago and was unlikely to be in the area anymore but he said it was better to not take chances as it may just be back as the paw print was not the only thing he found but there were also multiple scratches which had some demonic energy on some nearby trees which her husband had inferred could be some kind of markings as the beasts territory, but he later said that it was unlikely to be the case as he himself had ventured deep into the forest but had found no sigh of the demonic beast or any kind of oppressing aura which would indicate the presence of such a powerful demonic beast. But still they had a conversation like :

[ flashback ]

Daliya: " So it might have been  a very power demonic beast which once resided in the deep forest and relocated to somewhere else for some reason right."

Zenek:" Seems that way but we can't be 100% sure about that yet."

Daliya: " but it has a high chance of being the case isn't it, I mean you yourself went into the deep forest without being attacked, Furthermore you didn't find any signs of such a demonic beast living there currently right."

Zenek: " Humm..... yes you seem to be right to an extent .... wait I know where this is headed and I will give a sure short answer and that is NO."

Daliya: " bu...but I haven't even said anything yet."

Zenek: " I know that look daliya.... we are not going to explore the deep forest. No matter what you do or say will convince me to take you there I don't want to take the risk I hope you understand and also tell Alexandria( their daughter) about it so that she doesn't accidentally venture in to the deep forest  ok. "

Daliya: " Ok....I understand it is best to be careful in this case... but I am sure that  you can easily defeat such a being right?"

Zenek: " .....I don't think it will be that easy to defeat such a powerful demonic beast but I think I can handle it with some minor injuries but nothing serious."

Daliya: ( wow it must be really strong for Zenek to claim that he would suffer some injuries. He is after all the hero who saved the kingdom back then.)

[ End of flashback ]

As she remembered this event she started to connect all the dots and within a few seconds she came to very horrifying conclusion which terrified her but she knew that it was the most likely possibility.

It was likely that the demonic beast her husband had informed her about had decided to return back to the deep forest or it was also possible that it had never left the deep forest and was in hiding. But why had it decided to make its appearance know was a puzzling matter as it was likely not hunt otherwise it would not alarm its preys, was it a show of dominance? But these questions were not something that Daliya was thinking about nor was it something she cared for as she had a more pressing matter infront of her.

Daliya looked around desperately to determine from which direction was the demonic beast likely to appear. Not being able to determine the direction of the beast she just turned back and ran back to the direction she came from.

After running for a unknown duration of time she was tired, so tired that she was having problem breathing but she desperately continued to run until her legs could no longer hold her weight as a result she lost her balance and stumble forward and fell, unfortunately for her she stumbled into a pit as she fell she  rolled down to the pit Fortunately the pit wasn't to deep but still she had many cuts and bruises from the roll here beautiful blue dress was torn at places. She layed there for some time as she was too tired to move and just as she was thinking that she had managed to escape the demonic beast.

"Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr"

A deep growling sound came from the deep forest and she suddenly felt  a shiver down her spine, she came to the realization that she did not out run the beast as all her efforts turned out to be futile, she finally felt despair as she came to terms with reality. She lost all hope and was just about to accept her fate as she felt that beast was getting closer to her position but her eyes which were about to lose the light caught the sight of her basket as the flower petals were scattered on the ground seeing those blue patels reminded her of her precious daughter who loved her more than she could express, her caring husband who was not good at expressing his feelings and both of them were waiting for her to go back, for her to cook and to continue their happy life together.

With that motivation the light returned to Daliya's eyes as she managed to stand on her two bruised legs with some struggle. She looked around and found that the pit was not too deep so with some struggle she managed to get out of it. As she got out of the pit she saw a hollow tree which was enough to fit her at some distance. In the spur of the moment she made a run for it.

When she was infront of the hollow three she instinctively felt a sudden change in the environment as it was starting to get freezing cold. Without thinking twice she rushed into the hollow space inside the tree. Just as she made it into the tree she felt as if her blood was about to freeze, the demonic beast was now only a few meters away from her. She instinctively closed her eyes, regulated  her breath and prayed that the beast doesn't find her.
