Trying my luck (2)

It's a new day, or at least that's what I feel through my body.

When I got up, I remembered that I finished the walls, and all I have to do is start gathering materials. I even bought a few cheap pickaxes for that.

Crawling through the wall hole, I felt that I did a poor job. Right now it's enough, but I didn't consider the size of rockrats and other beings.

That's why I decided to avoid rockrats for now and kill them only when I need food.

Searching around in rockrats tunnels, I found many useful materials.

I used raw mana to hide, sometimes it was a failure, but rats could not see. But they can smell and hear well. And that's what I am trying to avoid. I considered buying potions, but getting there, I found nothing. The only things those alchemists wanted were materials and crystals.

But at the same time, they were haughty as well. It's true that NPC alchemists got a lot of recipes and were skilled, but now they need to train up as well. So they could use good quality fire or perform highly skilled magic formations.

And according to my past example, most of them never got back to their original skill stage.

Since they were already at the top, they became lazy and lost their motivation. And it's hard to change that.

The only thing useful about them is their recipes.

On my planet, there are fire flowers, but it ends with that. They aren't anything special even though those flowers are rare. It's only good enough to scam beginner players who find those flowers amazing.

It's not like there isn't any purpose for those flowers, but making a tier zero potion, to glow red is pointless. Though I have seen people doing that in the past to scam people, that's why I know it's an effective way to scam.

I have even done it in the past as well. But I wasn't that successful since some people already know the truth and liked to be busybodies.

But here it's still possible, and making quick cash from this isn't a bad option.

All I have to do right now is wait, for my guards to get to Cursed Sun. Then I can show them what to do and make a contract with street rats and let them sell glowing potion or flowers to idiots.

I will plan this out later. The important thing about this is not to be responsible at the end. As long as people believe you are an angel, that's what matters. Since they only care about what they have heard.

I worked a week in rockrats tunnels before I decided to leave, back to my house.

I got enough materials for trading and selling, and it's wise to get real rest as well.

The most important factor is my mother since I believe that she would get mad. And I have already experienced that she is overprotective. I also understand why, that's why I am going back, or else I would play more.
