The Prelude To The Fight!!! Women Are Just Tools??

Josh and the others were outside sparring with one another, trading blows in the warm sun with a cool breeze blowing. The quickness of their movements and the skill at which they were executed made the whole scene look similar to a movie. At least that's all Jinx was able to process before a streak of blonde slammed into him from the side.

Jinx had barely stepped outside for more than a few seconds when a blur ran up from the side and tackled him. As he had been holding Violets hand the whole time, she also went tumbling down with him as he slammed into the lush green grass. The tackle nor the landing had hurt at all but it was still rather confusing as to why he allowed the person to tackle him in the first place. He could've easily dodged or slammed his elbow into the persons face, but his body and instincts told him that it wasn't a very good idea.

Now, lying flat on his back, he could feel something very heavy but at the same time very soft on top of him. The sensation was oddly familiar and it eventually clicked that it was the feeling of a feminine body. The only other person he thought of that would tackle him would have to be Miss Lucky.

Sure enough, as soon as he looked down, he saw the bright blonde hair of Jackey as she hugged his waist. She was hugging him so tight that he could feel her heartbeat through her clothes.

"Umm, Jackey," Jinx said as he let go of Violets hand so she could stand up. "While I love the feeling of your breasts against me, I'm gonna have to ask you to let me stand up."

Jackey, slowly pulled away from him and stood up onto her feet, allowing him to rise from the ground and onto his own two feet. After he had recovered she darted forward and hugged him again and this time, Jinx hugged her back as he was beginning to feel bad.

He had obviously made people worried when he hadn't woken up. If he had known that he was gonna be passed out for so long then he would've let everyone know....he still would've done it, but just given everyone prior warning. He could only imagine how anxious his brothers and the girls had been when he was in his coma.

"I'm sorry Jackey," Jinx said with a small smile as he brushed her hair. She was short, around the same height as Bristley, only coming up to his chest, so he was easily able touch the top of her head. "I wont make you worry like that ever again. I'll make it up to you later any way you want but for now I have something I need to do."

It took a while but Jinx managed to get Jackey to let go of him and let him pass. After brushing her hair with his hand one last time, he left both Violet and Jackey with Jonathan and the queen as he walked over to his brothers. Henry and Blaster were still sparring while the others were watching Jinx approach.

"Heyyyyy Jinx, glad to see your awake," Josh said with a smile as he stepped forward, slapping him on the back. "Although I personally believe that you should've stayed asleep just a week longer. Now I owe Blaster one silver coin."

"Wow, glad to see you care enough to bet," Jinx responded as his eyes traveled to the fight. "Also, da fuck is a silver coin? Yall bet a single quarter over whether I woke up or not?"

"No, its the worlds currency," Jack responded, his eyes also on the fight. "100 copper coins equals 1 silver and 100 silver equals one gold. There is one more coin but its so valuable that its worth 500 gold coins. Its called a platinum coin."

Jinx nodded a little as he watched Henry slam his fist into Blasters jaw. "So your saying that Josh bet a full silver coin that I would stay unconscious for another week? Thanks for that buddy, I can really see the concern."

Josh laughed and punched Jinx in the arm. "None of us were particularly worried as we all knew that you'd wake up eventually. We just wanted to see how long it would take, so we placed bets. I bet two weeks and apparently lost."

"The Combat magic.....you guys were supposed to receive a fraction of the strength that I gained," Jinx said, completely changing the subject. "Did it work or was it all just a big waste of time?"

Braws spoke up this time, a smile on his face. "Oh yeah it worked!! We all got an insane amount of power. Hell three of us together are probably stronger then you even if you used full strength."

"Oh? Is that so?" Jinx flashed him a rather intrigued look. "Then shall we put it to the test? Josh, Henry, and Braws against me. The winner gets one gold coin. If the loser doesnt have it then he'll have to pay up when he does."

The sound of footsteps slowly approached and an all too familiar voice sounded out from behind them. "That sounds like a great idea, but lets up the ante shall we boys. We ARE all men here right? Lets wager something big!!"

All other boys, even Henry and Blaster turned to look at the person approaching them. It was Jonathan and he was dressed up pretty casually in a pair of shorts and tshirt. It was actually pretty surprising to realize that people in this world had similar clothing to their own world. However, to Jinxs surprise, each of the brothers had rather hostile looks on their faces and he assumed it wasn't the clothing.

"Easy now boys, I understand how you feel," Jonathan said politely as he faced the group. "I already apologized for even mentioning the joke. Hell, my own daughters were against me and refused to even leave me alone with the unconscious boy. I explained to them a hundred times that I was joking but no one listened to me."

Everyone became deathly silent, even the girls in the background who had been chatting away the entire time. It was eventually Jinx that broke the silence, his eyes filled with confusion.

"What exactly are you talking about Jonathan?" Jinx was immensely confused and didn't even bother to show him any respect as he felt that the king had done or said something detestable.

"He wanted to just get rid of you as he said keeping a body aroind that wouldn't wake up," Violet said as she, Jackey, and Elizabeth walked over. "It may have been a joke but all of us took it quite seriously and kept you away from him for the whole week. We just couldn't take that chance as your brothers would've killed him once they found out you were dead."

"We wanted to kill him anyways," Henry muttered under his breath, causing the other brothers to nod. "We only stopped because the queen herself asked us to just look the other way on his supposed joke."

Jinx shook his head, but thats all he did. He wasn't upset as he knew it had been a joke but he was pretty concerned about the kings ability to read an atmosphere. He was certain that the king had simply chosen the wrong time to say the joke and it had turned into an akward situation.

"What did you wanna discuss before?" Jinx asked as he looked at the current king who had a rather indifferent expression. "You wanted to discuss wagers? What wagers are you talking about?"

"Well, I was thinking that if you lose, you have to do me one favor regardless of what I ask." Jonathan smiled as he shoved his hands deep into his pockets, giving him the look of a good-looking middle aged college professor. "If you win however, I'll let you sleep with my wife.....and you have to do me a favor, but you have the option of declining. Sounds good right?"

"Wait wait wait wait, your basically just gonna give away your own wife as a reward?" Jinx asked incredulously, his thoughts spinning. "Have you gone crazy or something? That is your WIFE!!"

Jonathan looked confused for second before turning to look back at Elizabeth who was just standing there quietly with a curious expression. "Elizabeth, you did give him the whole 'women are just tools' bit right? I thought you were gonna tell him."

Elizabeth nodded her head. "I did tell him that as instructed. He didn't seem too fond of the idea of using women as tools or stepping stones. Though he displayed no outraged reaction, its clear that he despises the notion."

"Oh...well that explains a lot," Jonathan explained as he looked back at Jinx. "Kid, you outta understand how this world works and the one rule that probably everyone goes by. Females, be they demihuman or human, are nothing but tools. They get used as bargaining chips, get sold to slave traders for money, used in marriage to form alliances. The list literally is endless but the point is that women have no rights or say about how they're treated. Hell the only reason I'm letting you marry my two daughters is because of your limitless potential to be an essential killing machine. Women are tools and its best you learn that and try not to get too attached."
