Chapter Seventeen

It was the sun.

The sun was the cause of Jungkook's distress.

Okay, maybe distress is a little excessive. But the sun was upsetting the young male.

The freaking sun woke him up.

And it would be fine if he wasn't having extremely good dream about leaving the party with Taehyung and then spending the night in Taehyung's dorm.

Jungkook sits up to get ready for the day when something pulls him back onto the bed and by that point his eyes were wide open, allowing him to see that he was not in his dorm.

That only meant one thing...

...His dream wasn't really a dream.

Jungkook smiled wide as he turned over to watch Taehyung wake up. It had to be a beautiful sight, Jungkook was sure of it.

And right he was.

The older's hair was untidy and his face was a bit swollen, Jungkook's marks were now bright purple and extremely noticeable which made Jungkook smile. Taehyung's eyes opened as he looked around, checking out his surroundings. Once he laid eyes on Jungkook, his lips turned up in a smile as he whispered, "Hey, babe."

Jungkook blushed at the endearment, whispering back, "Hey."

"Did you have fun last night?" Taehyung's husky morning voice asks, sending a shiver down Jungkook's spine.

"Oh, I had so much fun. How about you?" Jungkook asks, morning voice a bit deeper than he was expecting.

"My night was fantastic. I actually remember it this time." Taehyung jokes, letting a deep chuckle loose.

"Me too, but I wish I remember the first time."

"I guess we'll just have to recreate it." Taehyung says, trying his hardest to flirt.

"Right now? The soreness is just now kicking in." Jungkook says, squirming a little.

"Well obviously not right now. Right now, we're going to go take a shower and get ready for our date."

"Date?"

"Yeah, Jisoo set up a date with Rose and she doesn't want to go alone. I offered to go with her. If you don't want to go, though, that's fine too." Taehyung says, taking in a deep breath and pulling Jungkook closer to him. They still hadn't gotten up.

"No, we should go. Don't want to leave Jisoo hanging on her first date."

"You're so nice sometimes. I probably would have just stayed here if she asked me to come alone."

"Yeah, well, this is what happens when you're not best friends with them. Where are we going, exactly?" Jungkook asks, wiggling his way out of Taehyung's grasp.

"Ice skating. Apparently Rose doesn't know how and Jisoo wants to teach her but Rose also has no idea that we are going ice skating so we're all hoping that this whole thing does not, like, majorly backfire on us."

"If Rose really likes Jisoo, she'll at least give it a shot. Also, that is a mainstream date idea. I mean, who wouldn't do that?"

"People who hate winter."

"Okay, I'm officially convinced you're a pessimist."

"Eh, depends on how I'm feeling. Currently I'm really angry because my boyfriend left me on read in person." Taheyung says, sitting up and crossing his arms over his chest.

"How did I leave you on read in person?"

"You left me in the bed alone. We were supposed to get up together, dimwit."

"Number one, do not call me a dimwit, I am very smart thank you. Number two, eh, you'll get over it. Besides, if I didn't get up, you wouldn't get up and then we would never go anywhere or do anything. We'd just become this thing that merged together and was slowly dying because we would have no access to food."

"Where did that even come from?"

"I had a bad dream, okay? Life is hard for some of us, Mr. I'm too handsome for this world."

"If I'm Mr. Too handsome for this world then you must be Mr. I'm too adorable for this universe cause boi, you be looking like a whole god right now." Taehyung says, stroking his chin and un-apologetically checking a shirtless Jungkook out.

"Oh well." Jungkook says, shrugging and going on about his business.
