Prologue -- Sleeping pills

Michael had put the microwave's protective dome on the plate, but it couldn't keep the heat forever. The food was only room-warm anymore. It was simple food, chicken breast filled with goat cheese and white rice with curry sauce. His sister would surely prefer this over the re-heated pizza they ate yesterday. The girl was quite strict with her diet. But she still needed a lot energy being a sport-freak.

But why wasn't she home already? Michael was holding phone on his right hand. Chat message from Sofia said:

'I come home sometime near 5 =). Happy birthday by the way!!! Why let me sleep, I was suppose to make you breakfast!!! Don't touch my alarm clock!!! Anyway, have a nice day at work.'

Michael started to get anxious. Even though Sofia and Michael didn't eat together everyday anymore, today was still Michael's birthday. And he knew that Sofia didn't forget such days. That girl was way too kind to do something like that.

It was already almost six and soon it would get dark. Michael knew that Sofia was already 17, but she wouldn't just leave him hanging like this. Her training ended normally around 4:30 pm. The travel from school took around half an hour.

'Maybe I just wait a little bit longer then I should call her best friend's parents.'

Wouldn't be the first time she was there, but this didn't really fit into the picture. He was going to turn 24 today and had come home early to prepare dinner. It felt like his sister tried a bit too hard every now and then. Cooking was one thing in which Michael was superior. Almost everything else, the little sister could do better than him.

Sofia would go to swim after school as she did every Wednesday. She was one of the top students and shined at sports, specially swimming. In comparison Michael was barely able to do twenty push-ups. But that girl wouldn't even break a sweat after fifty. No wonder their parents always were so kind to her. Michael was never even close to competing with her. But she was his little-sister, they are a family of two.

'She is so much more gifted than I am, but still it's my birthday!'

Hhhhmph*

But she didn't come home. Not during whole evening. Nor was she with any of her friends that Michael knew.

Finally he called police. Turned out that this is a case of a "missing person". It didn't feel like the police men were going to be anything but just nuisance. All they did was give him strange looks of doubt or petty and ask for him to come to police station tomorrow to fill some papers. Michael had heard that in this sort of cases the suspect was normally someone from the family.

'Are those pigs thinking I did something?'

Sofia and their grandparents were only family he had.

She did not answer her phone. No one knew were she was, but she had left from school this is what teacher had told him on the phone. He wanted to go and search for her but he wasn't that stupid. What would wandering around the city help? No one had seen her after school either and the doors there would already be closed.

After having small panic attack and wandering around house his mind filled with dark thoughts, he decided to go and try sleeping. There was nothing he could do. Police had said that all he could do was rest and wait.

'Fucking bullshit!'

After sweating on bed for ten minutes while listening his heartbeat raping his eardrums, Michael took few sleeping pills. His blood pressure had to be quite high. But he has to get a little bit sleep.

'If something had happened to her... I swear on God's name that I...' He thought as he fell asleep.

It was warm in the room. Like summer sun would have looked after him.

All that had been just a nightmare. Right?

Wind was tickling his back.

'Did I leave the window open?'

Sniff*

Sniff sniff*

Sniff sniff sniff*

Something was tickling his nose.

Hmmhph*

'Bugs..'

Waaaaah!

It was not a bug. Few straws of grass had found their way inside his nostril.

'Green grass? How is there grass on my bed?!'

Michael rubbed his eyes.

'Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo---'

It was a windy field and the sun was shining up in the cloudless sky. Michael just sat there mouth open for a while with blank stare until something caught his attention and pulled is brains back from the coffee break. It was something in his eyes or more so on his eyes. As if he was wearing some type of 3D-glasses, but instead being in front of his eyes, they were on his retinas, inside his eyes. Even if he shut his eyes, there it was:

'Name: -

Job: The Grim Reaper

Level 1

Logbook'

"What..."

'Is there tattoos on my eyes!?'

He could feel his heart bounding like it wanted to jump out of his chest and make a cartwheel. His stomach hurt. He started to curl into a human ball.

'This is not real!'

It was coming - panic attack, a big one.

But what is this? Two strange plumbs of meat were hanging in front of his eyes as he hold his head down. Wait a minute -- his chest had breasts?

"Breasts?!"

"YYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! WHAT THE FUCK!!"

She screamed!
