Liv rolled out of bed on the day feeling determined, she had made up her mind, she was not going to make a fool of herself in front of the biggest band of the year. She was going to forget about homework (it was only for a weekend, right?) and she was going to have a fantastically brilliant time. To kick start her brain into life Liv made some coffee and sat on her bed sipping it, feeling the caffeine careening around her body, a few minutes later she jumped up, buzzing like a blender.
She checked the time on her phone and nearly choked on air. "Oh c-crap!" she shrieked as she flung her phone down and proceeded to sprint to the bathroom and dive into the shower like an Olympian athlete. You see, when Liv had checked the time, her phone had said 9:43am, she was supposed to be meeting Adam at the train station by 10:00am. Somehow she managed to wash her waist length hair in ten minutes (a world record for her), it was now 9:53am and she was running out of time, she jammed her head through a dusky orange belly top, shrugged on a checked shirt (one of many), forced her legs into a pair of pretty blue jeans with embroidered flowers and finally jammed her feet into maroon coloured boots, it was now 9:56am.
Thank God she had packed her stuff the night before, Liv heaved a large rucksack over her shoulders, slung her handbag across her body and headed out the door. With the door locked she took a deep breath then hurtled down the stairs, out of the building and to the train station at a speed that would have made Sonic the Hedgehog proud. By then it was 10:02am. She spotted Adam sitting on a bench inside the train station by a small café, she made her way over to him, then collapsed on the bench beside him and keeled over wheezing. Adam grinned happily when he saw her but his face soon morphed into an expression of concern when he saw how exhausted she seemed.
Adam laid a hand on Liv's shoulder and said anxiously "Hey Liv are you alright?". Liv coughed and said what sounded to Adam like: "I'm.... *huff huff*.....I-I'm....*huff* g-g-gay". Adam frowned, "I beg your pardon?", "I-I'm *cough* gay!". "Your gay?", Liv looked at him incredulously "What, no where d-did you get that f-from, I said I was OK!". "Oh", Adam stared at Liv rather suspiciously for a moment before smiling again "We have twenty minutes before the train arrives, d'you wanna go grab a snack or something?". "Wha-, oh y-yeah sure", fully recovered now Liv jumped up and attempted to appear enthusiastic and grabbed Adam, heaving him up off the bench.
"See there's a café o-over there, c'mon I-I'm hungry!". Adam looked surprised at the sudden bubbly out-burst but if he thought anything about it he kept it to himself, he smiled down at Liv and slipped his hand in hers, she didn't pull away, "Yeah, me too" was all he said. It turns out the café didn't really sell anything satisfactory, but Liv and Adam gave into their hunger and bought some undercooked toast and a poor excuse of a coffee. After they had eaten their less than adequate meal, Liv and Adam made their way to platform three where the train to London was due to arrive at 10:40am.
Overall the train ride was pretty uneventful, Liv listened to Boy in Luv on repeat for about an hour, there was however, a memorable moment when Liv realised that she didn't know who Adam's bias was and hastened to ask him. It was then she discovered how much of a fan boy Adam could be. Adam who had been quite quiet during the whole train ride suddenly sprung into life and described about he was so excited to finally meet his 'Jiminie' and listed of all the things he knew about him, and everything from date of birth to blood type, Liv was sure she wouldn't be surprised if Adam knew Jimin's phone password and what he ate for dinner last night. The friends spent the rest of the journey discussing what they were going to give the band members as gifts and whether Jimin would notice Adam or not.
When the train finally pulled into London's vast train station Liv would have quite happily flopped down on the floor and fall asleep then and there but the hotel they had booked sounded a lot more appealing than a freezing gum covered platform, offering central heating, cosy beds, free WiFi and food. She and Adam heaved their bags onto their shoulders and plodded to the nearest bus stop and waited for a bus that would take them in the general direction of the hotel ~
Liv got into her bed with a huge sigh, she felt as if she would never have to eat again after the huge meal she just had. Because of the special occasion she decided to drop the 'small healthy meals diet' (it was only for a weekend, right?) and have a enormous plate of fish and chips then share an over sized sundae with Adam. It was actually quite fun and once again the two friends whiled away the time when they were eating discussing the Concert that would come the following day. Back in the present Liv was beginning to feel nervous again, the concert seemed so immense, but it was meeting the members that really made her over full stomach churn, she was just so afraid that she would mess up and look like a complete idiot, her bias wouldn't like her, she was sure he wouldn't.
It was a long time before Liv managed to get any sleep at all.
