Will Shares His Plan

The group was stunned by his words; now, it was clear that Will's dream was, without a doubt, the most far-fetched. There was only one way to even dare think of such a thing. One had to become an immortal!

While the group was still digesting Will's words, he continued, "We all have different dreams, large and small, realistic and impossible, but that doesn't matter. For all of them to work, we need to become strong. That much hasn't changed."

Will went on to explain about Fafnir's Grave and how he had to leave. Thus they would still need to find a way to get stronger without him for some time. Not only that, but they had to return to Earth and deal with two wars. Will's words snapped everyone back to reality. They still had a massive task ahead of them. 

"To achieve our goals, I decided to bring these."

Will retrieved three water orbs from his storage ring. The three orbs floated to the three standing at the different parts of the triangle.

The orb in Duke's hands had a small yellow ball of light akin to a burning sun.

Letty's orb had a rusted black key that was shrouded in a dark aura that pulsated with deathly energy. 

Alice's orb had a small spherical dan that seemed no different from an ordinary pill.

The trio looked at Will, confused. Will smiled and said, "Duke, that's a Pure Yang Seed. It's a seed that can strengthen a body and convert a neutral body to a yang-type body. It also improves one's sensitivity to fire-type magic and cultivation arts.

Letty, I gave you Hela's Key. It's a key that unlocks an entrance to an inheritance ground for Hela. This inheritance ground is directly connected to Niflheim and can grant one access to the sovereign of Hel. It should help you level up nicely. If you do thngs right, Duke won't be the only person in here contracted to a deity.

Last but not least is Alice. That is a Mindmeld Dan. I used the points I had to exchange for it through the system. It allows you to experience the memories of another person from their perspective and vice versa. You can only experience memories from a specifc tme period, but it's more than enough for our purposes."

Will's words stunned the listeners. Each of these materials was an incredible gift! Duke lacked a Pure Yang Physique capable of receiving the Sun Chasing Legacy, while Letty had a weak class and horrible magic efficiency. If Duke was anything to go by, then there was no doubt that she would gain a lot from receiving Hela's Legacy. Unlike Duke, she had a natural Yin Physique. Will's physique became yin by nature due to the seed he had been given by The King of Titans while Woodsy and Merlin were within the Gates of Knowledge and Power.

Letty had already been born with a negative energy body, hence she wouldn't have a problem hosting divine energy. The very notion of powering Soul Regalia with divine power excited her and everyone else present.

Alice was a bit confused because she wasn't sure what she was supposed to do with the Mindmeld Dan, but Woodsy did.

"You want Alice to experience my time in the Gate of Knowledge!"

Woodsy's words brought everyone to the fold. They had been muddled, wondering what Will's objective was. Now she understood!

Qiankun Scholar was a class that allowed one to become stronger through spatial magic and arcane runic magic. In other words, the more knowledge she had, the stronger she became! The Mindmeld Dan did not just combine memories; it also allowed Alice to pick up Woodsy's perspective; in other words, any skill Woodsy learned that Alice could use would end up becoming a permanent part of her!

Woodsy did not have an information-type class, so she had not been able to capitalize on her trip to the Gate of Knowledge, similar to how one can read many books and can only remember key parts. But Alice did not forget. She could not only learn what Woodsy knew and pick up skills like intent, but she could also learn things Woodsy was unable to understand or remember!

Qiankun Scholars were extremely good at space attribute spells and telepathic skills. They treated runes like programming languages to create incantations. If one treated runes as programming languages, then The Gate of Knowledge was an opportunity that could allow Alice to become the ultimate programmer!

But that was not the only application of the Mindmeld Dan; it also created a temporary spiritual connection that also allowed others to enter each other's spiritual space. Alice had a curse worm implanted in her memories that Woodsy was helping her deal with. Now that they could enter each other's spiritual realms and exchange perspectives, Alice could have the powerhouse Woodsy enter her mind and assist!

"Woodsy, if I'm not mistaken, your goal isn't just to destroy the worm in Alice's head, right?"

Woodsy beat her chest and said, "That's right! Alice has incredible potential as an illusionist; a set of skills perfect for neutral telepaths and the space attribute. If she subdues the worm and contracts it, or absorbs it, she can use its power! I wasn't sure how to go about it smoothly before, but now I'm confident that we can pull this off quickly!"

Woodsy's words made Alice shed tears of joy. The worm had caused her an endless amount of nightmares. Nevertheless, she had endured because 'Will' always appeared in her mental realm to protect her. Now she could regain control of her mind; she felt an incredible wave of relief.

Tobias adjusted his glasses and said, "If I'm not mistaken, the Mindmeld Dan should have cost a few million points?" locals also had access to the system, although their interface was slightly different, but they could also receive quests, rewards and use functions such as the point system.

Points were the currency of the system. Will had earned and stocked up on quite a few points over the years. His adventure at King Yama's Gate had rewarded him with many points; this, along with his boss battles and his accomplishments in Mt Olympus, had rewarded him greatly. But the Mindmeld Dan was one of the most expensive dans available for Lower World Mortals. Not only that, but one could only receive one from the avatar of a deity or spirit!

It could be a minor spirit such as a nymph or a fairy, or it could be a minor deity that barely anyone knew of. One could trade with any being tied to the system; after all, points were a currency that also benefitted higher beings differently.

Alice looked at Will and said meekly, "How many points do you have left?"

"That doesn't matter. I can always get more points. We need to get stronger as a team. That's what counts. Points were meant to be spent. Hoarding wealth is as pointless as not trying to work for any. If I die, all of those points will become useless. The system doesn't allow for writing a will sigh."

Will's joke was not met with any laughter despite his humorous tone. Alice felt a mountain of responsibility on her shoulders. She had no idea that Will valued her this much. 

'I can't disappoint him.'

Will couldn't get back those points, so she decided to do the best she could to make sure she was worth his investment.

Will had traded with Odin for the Dan—an offer the All-Father had suggested during their conversation after his Unbound Vector test.

Will's coffers had been emptied, and he was now broke, but it was worth the investment as far as he was concerned.

Will clapped his hands to redirect the topic to his plan, "We need to step things up a notch; every second counts; feelings and whatnot can be discussed later. 

First, Duke will take the Yang Seed and upgrade his body to a Pure Yang Physique. Then we will activate the contract and have it meld with Soul Chain Share. Once the contract is made, I will have access to information about all of you and will share portions of my abilities you can handle. After that, your vessels will go through different evolutions due to the interference of others."

Putting in a different way, if spells were programmes, then Will was updating the software. Soul Chain Share was a dumbed-down imperfect version of the Centralized Tripartite Soul Brethren Contract, so this was not hard, thanks mostly to the All-Father's help because he was the one who had designed the matrix. Will had only activated it. Thus, once the contract was established, they would be able to activate Soul Chain Share within the contract!
