Chapter # 35

[Yuu]

Ring Ring

The alarm had woken me up. I got up from the bed and picked up a glass of water from the side table and drank it. When my eyes had adjusted I saw that Shino wasn't lying on his bed. Come to think of it I slept like a log and I didn't notice whether he slept or not. I told him to wake me up he can't sleep. I thought of whether going out to search for him or rather get myself ready first and search for him later but then again it's his friends house, he's not gonna be lost here so I choose the later option instead.

After I had gotten ready, I went out of the room and made my way downstairs. I saw Shino talking with Aunty. I did not hear what they were both talking about as they both went silent on seeing me. I went closer to them and greeted Aunty and then Shino.

Aunty went back to the kitchen and came with a tray full of peanut butter sandwiches and a glass of banana milkshake. I thanked her and started eating. After a while Izumi and others also made their way downstairs and Aunty went made some more sandwiches and milkshake for each. Meanwhile Shino had went upstairs to change and came back after a while. Shino said good bye to everyone and told Izumi he will tell the school about your little accident and then told the others he will see them soon.

We both went to school as quickly as we could because we were getting late but made it before the gym teacher caught us and gave us a punishment. So we were saved for today. Shino instead of going to class directly handed me his bag and went to teacher room to fill the absent form for Izumi.

I went straight to class and put Shino's back on his table and then sat on my seat afterwards.

Shino and home teacher came together and Shino made the greetings first and then we sat down. The teacher just did a roll call and told us to be careful on the roads and dont cause any troubles then he left and other teacher came for his class.

Teachers came and went by and then during break Shino went to roof and I was gonna follow him when Taki came over and asked to carry the notebooks with her to the teachers room as Shino went towards the roof so still why me?.

Either way I went with her to the staff room. After putting the books down. Taki asked me a question.

"You and Shino live together in the dorm right ?"

"Yes. Why you asking?"

"Then can you tell me why he always has dark circles and I never saw him eat?"

A very good question but now how to dodge it.

"Why you so interested in Shino. Did you grow to like him?" Good going Yuu the worse way to dodge the question couldn't have thought of anything else. Stupid.

"First of all I dont like him. Second hes the president of the class so I am gonna get worried if hes like that" Taki replied.

"But what I know he hasn't done any blunder for you to worry about him?"

"Yes, but...

"What you guys talking about behind someone's back?" Shino said.

Where did he come from.

"Umm Shino the thing was like...

He looked at both of us more like glaring and said

" I went to the rooftop but remembered about the notebooks so I came back down and found Taki had already went with Yuu to the teacher room so I then went to the direction if there was something else the teacher had asked for but then I heard both of your convo"

Shino looked towards Taki and then said

"I think you don't need to worry about my performance and I didn't do anything wrong or forgot anything major till now and about my appearance or health certainly both of them doesnt concern but as your still curious I will say I am a game addict and I usually play games at night which solves your answer of my bangs under the eyes. Now do you have any other question?"

Shino was clearly angry more than when he was angry at Izumi. Taki was really on a verge of crying she ran away towards the other direction which left me with Shino alone.

"Umm Shino you shouldn't have answered like that she was clearly worried about you"

"Did I ask her to be worried?"

"What? Shino that wasn't the point"

He looked at me straight in the eyes and went away.

I went back to the class. Shino didn't come back, he was apparently with the home room teacher to discuss about the coming field trip.

He came back in the middle of the class and greeted the teacher and sat at his seat.

When the school was over. Shino went to the student council room whereas I went towards the dorm instead.

I arrived to the dorm, came to my room changed clothes and went to grab something to eat as I had not eaten anything in the break time.

Shino came back late to the dorm, changed his clothes and went somewhere else again which he didn't tell me and apparently I also didn't ask. I was angry with him a bit as well.

RING RING

My phone was ringing, Izumi was calling me that's surprising. I picked it up

"Hello Yuu"

"Hi"

"Let me ask this straight do you know where Shino is"

Not surprising he definitely wouldn't have called me to know about today's work or not. it always about Shino.

"No I don't, he has been acting weird the entire day?"

"Did you guys have a fight"

"In a way yes"

"How?"

So I told him the story

"hmm"

"Can you answer better than that?"

"I can but it depends actually Yuu it's better you ask him yourself or bear his behaviour for a few days"

"So your basically useless"

"Apparently I am. If you don't to hear another backlash from him"

"Why did you call me again?"

"Well I called Shino to ask him to come over he didn't pick up so I thought he took a pill and slept since he was awake the entire night yesterday. So I called you instead"

He didn't sleep the entire night, hes best at making me worry ain't he.

"So that guy didn't sleep but had the energy to get angry"

"Yuu, you need to know that Shino is different from us, he doesn't need to sleep much plus he can't take his meds every day or he won't wake up again. So he can do whatever he wants you can say he doesn't need sleep unless his body makes him get one or he does one himself but he rarely wants to sleep himself so well you get it"

"No, I absolutely don't get it. Why didn't you correct his habits when you knew it?"

"Yuu, since you don't know what happened and I won't touch that case either. I suggest you don't throw your ideals on Shino or else he will grow further away then you think he will. Anyways I have lectured enough I am gonna hang up now. Bye"

I went towards my room and thought what Izumi actually meant when Shino came and landed on his bed for a few minutes, he got up again and went to do some work from school which I had completely forgotten and started mine as well. When I got the work finished and looked upwards Shino had already been done with his and was on his bed looking towards his phone.

I put my work in my bag and went to the bed myself and looking through my phone.

Later onwards I don't know when I fell asleep.
