"A mail?" Eddie whispered suspiciously. She was sitting in front of the laptop. The sudden arrival of a mail at that time of day startled her.
"Bro", She called out to Daniel, who was by the window, smoking. He turned his emotionless face to face Eddie.
"What is it?" He spoke emotionlessly.
"An email", Eddie replied.
Daniel's eyes became sharp and he strode over to Eddie with his long legs. Then, he ordered, "Open it."
Eddie nodded and tapped on the notification. She took a glance and her eyes shone brightly, "A transaction. It's a transaction."
"A transaction?"
"Yeah. Credited to "The Gap", South City Mall, 12:32 a.m."
The looks in Daniel's eyes changed as he proceeded for a phone call.

South City Mall
"Is the walkie talkie working?" Lilith asked Alice as they merged among the crowd again.
"Yeah", Alice spoke as she checked the coils and loops, "All checked."
"Good. I don't think they will find us."
"Hope so", Alice sighed.
Suddenly, the two of them heard some noises at some distance. When they looked ahead, they saw two guards in black asking people around, showing their phones.
"No, I haven't seen them here", a lady in a sheath dress shook her head apologetically.
Lilith and Alice stopped in their tracks and Alice nudged at Lilith. She spoke hurriedly, "Aboard, Aboard!"
Lilith grabbed her hand and ran the opposite direction of the crowd. On their way, they dashed into a lot of people and they finally made their way near the escalator. To their disappointment, the one down way wasn't working. When they turned back, the guards were already approaching faster than wind. Seeing no other choice, they slid down the small space between the two escalators.
"Go, go, go, go!" Alice shoved Lilith forward as they ran ahead, out of breath.
"This way! This way!" Lilith dragged Alice, who was running ahead, behind a counter of an ice cream parlor. It was closed and hence they hid without being seen. They were both out of breaths, as they sat down under the cabin. Lilith gulped, "Is this okay?"
"Should...be", Alice said, panting.
After calming themselves, what they saw was a giant glass window and on it were the reflections of a few guards, closing in. Alice and Lilith both intertwined their hands, exchanged glances and nodded.
...
The Gap
"Yes, Miss", Jim nodded professionally and seriously, "Miss Alice and the first lady came by this afternoon, asking for some simple and cheap dresses."
"Mom?" Eddie whispered after hearing his words, "Anything else?"
"Yeah", Jim nodded, "It seemed like they were in a hurry of getting away. Probably, from something or someone."
Eddie squinted before she glanced over at Daniel, who was standing by the glass windows, smoking and glancing around. Then, she took a deep breath and spoke firmly, "Can I get the CCTV footage?"
"Sure", Jim nodded. He had already figured out that things were quite serious. Or else, why would the Big Boss show up himself? He slowly walked away towards a room around the corner and disappeared.
Eddie stood up and approached Daniel. She placed a hand on his shoulder and spoke, "It's gonna be okay."
Daniel sighed when he heard his sister's words. Then, he turned to look at her, "Have you called Jake once yet?"
Eddie sighed deeply. Amidst the chaos, she had forgotten to call Jake. He had left earlier today after the conference due to some emergency mission in his army base.
