Chief Yoon: Welcome, Detective Kim it's a pleasure to finally meet you after hearing about you for so long

Y/n: The pleasure is all mine Chief Yoon

Hyunjin: Oh...Y/nnnie your here

Chief: You two know eachother?

Hyunjin: Haii...we went to the same high school

Chief: Then there is no problem after all you two will be partners so I suppose you are okay.

Hyunjin and Y/n: 'shocked' You!? Why!?

Hyunjin: Sir, this girl here is a perfectionist..she might look innocent but she is a nightmare in the look of a daydream.

Y/n: Your lazy and an airhead.

Y/n: Oh and an Otaku to.

All the other officers and detectives laugh hearing Y/n's comment.

The chief calls Hyunjin and Y/n and shows them their joint cabin.

Chief: So for your first case it will be a free trial...so I want both of you to find a case you want to work on it can be from our shelves or why don't you just find one? I need see your speed, skills and accuracy that way we will be able to assign you cases.

Y/n's friend from high school. She is currently in her 2nd year of college. She is a part-time model from Loen Entertainment.

Both the girls are in a cafe-restaurant. They are having an early snack as both of them missed lunch one busy modelling and the other one busy with moving luggage.

Y/n gets a call from her mother,

Y/n: Excuse me

On the phone

Y/n: Hello? Mom?

Mom: Hi honey, how are you?

Y/n: I'm fine mom. And yes I found a place to live.

Mom: Oh you did? Where is it? A few of your stuff is still here we'll drop it of and your father and I would also like to visit you and see how the place is.

Y/n: Yeah...I live in location -xxxx-. And no need to come over. I won't be home much. Mom? You there?

Mom: They lived there...

Y/n: Uh who?

Mom: How can you not know? You are my daughter right?

Y/n: Mom...you are not making sense you do know right? Like who lived where?

Mom: BTS

Y/n: Who?

Mom: BTS Bangtan Sonyeondan lived there...oh my gosh

Y/n: Who are they exactly?

Mom: Oh my god...how did I give birth to you? Who doesn't know the gods of music. They are not only known in Korea but all over the world.

Y/n: Cool...so where are they?

Mom: They...they a-a-are d-d-d- dead. Over 20 years ago. ( slight sniffling)

Y/n: okay...wait mom are you crying?

Mom: Yeah...just remembered it....(gasps) oh my god tomorrow is Joonie's birthday. Honey I want you to get some bittersweet cake, some white lillies and stuff like birthday wishes written in English...got it English.

Y/n: Who's birthday...cake...English wishes...mom I'm not getting a thing.

Mom: You stupid girl...come over tomorrow...for today search BTS at home. You've got some education to get. Gosh can't believe an A.R.M.Y's own blood related daughter is not one.

Y/n: What? You know what bye mom... we'll talk later.

Off the call

Y/n: Sorry. I didn't mean to talk for so long.

Soojin: It's ok...my mom does it too. 'Both giggle'. By the way what was she talking about?

Y/n: Uh something about a k-pop group... whose members died 20yrs ago and how they were gods of music. And tomorrow is a member's birthday. What was the name again...uh..ummm...PT? Yeah.. BTS? Right BTS. You know them?

Soojin: 'with wide eyes' Your mom also?

Y/n: Why? Don't tell me...

Soojin: My mom was a huge fan of them...I think she still has a box full of their stuff. They are still rememberd today. Who won't, they showed the world something - in low voice - which no one could.

Y/n: Sorry..I didn't hear you 'though she clearly heard it'.

Soojin: Oh it's nothing...wow...it's already 6:30? I have to go...I have a shoot in 30mins.

Y/n: Sure...bye...let's meet up sometime...

Y/n parks her car in the parking lot and walks to her condo. ( The complex consists of apartments and individual bungalows, Y/n lives in a Bungalow. Bungalows are known as condos and apartments are known as unit)

To reach her condo which is between a condo and the lake side.

While walking towards her condo no.12 she passes condo no. 11. The door is locked which looks like it has been sitting for a decade or two and the door has KEEP OUT written on it. Y/n figures that no one lives there. Giving it one last glance Y/n enters her condo.

She is satisfied with the interior and decides to start unpacking her daily need first and the others later. Checking the fridge she makes a mental note to order grocery from the online app and stuff she needs cuz' who needs to go out when you can simply order them. Settling herself with a light meal she sits with her laptop ordering grocery and needs. When all of a sudden she hears...a voice... A male voice to be specific

??: JK, Tae come down for dinner, Jin-hyung made your favourite.

I'm soo sorry for the delay....I was really busy being a member of the student council is hard so completely forgot that this thing legit existed....

A good news.. summer vacations have started...I'll be more punctual in posting chapters starting from Monday...I'll be posting chapters only on Monday's 'cuz that's the only day I'm free...
