Chapter 3 - The Start of Everything Part 3

"Forgive me if I'm rude, but i have never provoked him. If Sensei think that I'm the one who started it first then, with all due respect, i have to file a complain to the principal."

Stated Izumi with a smile on his face. He was as cool and composed as always.

Even though he was called to the staff room and being questioned by his homeroom teacher, Izumi will not admit that he was doing it on purpose. Who else could he blame other than the one who made fun of him and his buddy?

Back then after he was done trashing Kazuhiro, the door to their class was opened by the person in front of him. It was his homeroom teacher that opened the door. Well, it was the start of the second period and he was the teacher's that's going to teach the class.

"Is that really true? Then why everyone didn't say anything about it?"

Izumi's homeroom teacher was a strict old man with white hair and thick glasses. His name is Takamura Ushio a 60 years old man that has experienced many hardship in life.

Although he was strict and stubborn, he's not unreasonable and a very understanding person. All Izumi's need right now is nothing but a volunteer to proves his claims.

But he was not willing to let others be the one who decided if his actions were right or not. Even if Izumi was sure that there would be a lot of his classmates that is willing to come to his aid, but he would never trust them completely.

As the saying goes, trust only yourself, is what keep Izumi from falling into traps and schemes of others all this time. So he need to find some other way to convince his teacher.

"Sensei, are you really sure you would believe in Kazuhiro's underling words rather than me?"

Izumi frowned his brows and stared at the old sensei in front of him. Nevertheless, no matter how displeased he is, he could not use forceful methods to a teacher so he keep spinning his head trying to find another solution.

"That's not what i meant, Izumi-kun. What I'm asking you is that, why did you use violence? You have always been a rather good student, that's why the teacher's has always been tolerating you coming late to school. But if you start to become problematic, then i need to correct your wrong now, so that you may not repeat it again."

Explained Ushio-sensei with a serious tone and a frown on his brows. He was slow and patience when he was saying that, with his experience in dealing with hot blooded teenagers, Izumi didn't find it strange that he was being strict now.

"I understand Sensei. I was wrong this time for defending myself."

"Sigh... why must you say it like that?"

Ushio-sensei let out a tired sigh as he shake his head at Izumi. However, when Izumi was about to reply and answer his rather disappointed question, Ushio-sensei opened his mouth first.

"Forget it, i trust you that you will not cause this kind of trouble again. You are smart and a very sensible kid, so i will trust you. Do you understand, Izumi-kun?"

Ushio-sensei raised his voice so that his meaning could be understood and entered into Izumi's thick skull. But of course, Izumi understand that fact, he was let out rather easily by his homeroom teacher, and he was really grateful for that.

"Yes Sensei!"

Izumi nodded his head and bowed in gratitude to the old teacher. Izumi know that he should be saying his thanks, but he thought that bowing and showing with action is better than saying it with his mouth.

The old teacher, Takamura Ushio then nodded his head in satisfaction. Although, Kanzaki Izumi is a problem children, Takamura Ushio would still believe in Izumi rather than those delinquents.

"Raise your head, Izumi-kun. I hope you don't repeat it again, and if possible come to school on time next time. That's all, you can go back to class now."

Takamura Ushio then stood up from his seat. He was probably going to go to the infirmary to check on Kazuhiro. But Izumi was by no means interested in knowing the trash condition, so he bowed his head again and then walked away toward the exit with a quick steps.

After closing the door to the staff room, Izumi then let out a sigh while closing his eyes.

"I'm really lucky that Ushio-sensei is very kind... But i really did it this time, even though i told myself not to fight anymore."

He said to himself as he walked with a slow and relaxed steps. His way of walking were often told that it resembled a snail, because of how slow he was...But who could he blame?

Izumi need to take it easy and think about what he should do for the future in the past, that's why he always took his time when walking. However, it has became a habit now that he has been doing it for a long time.

Unless there's something urgent, he would rather take his time when walking and reflect on what he has been doing from this morning until now.

It made him rather sharp at remembering things when he do that, so it was a very rare thing that he would forget about something.

Or maybe he has a good gene or something. Because his big sister were as smart as him, or maybe she was even smarter than Izumi's.

But it beg some explanations as to how clueless she was in certain situation. No, that came out wrong, Yuri was by no mean clueless, she's just a tad bit dense and couldn't perceive other peoples feeling.

And that's why she was so bewildered and flustered when Izumi asked her to marry him. She was so confused that she beat Izumi so badly that he was sent to the hospital.

Thinking about that made Izumi let out a stiff smile and a sweat drop.

'The class is self study now that i made such a big ruckus. Maybe i should ditch it and wait for the third period to start... Or maybe i should come back after lunch.'

Izumi stopped on his track and turned his head to gaze outside the window. He was looking at the small forest behind the school.

His school were placed near a mountain so there's quite a lot of trees growing near the school. Or maybe the mountain itself is a part of the school so it left as is.

Izumi honestly didn't know about that, maybe the student council president would know such things, but he was just interested in it and not to the point of wanting to know the whole details.

And in that forest there is a small shrine that was hidden by a thick bushes. Izumi has been going there since a year ago and cleaned it while he enjoyed the silent atmosphere.

He's now looking at the shrine's direction from the window.

"Being around people all the time really suffocated me. Not to mention that, i have been stressed lately... sigh~ maybe i really should become a monk or something."

He muttered in a low voice, his eyes never look away from the lush and green forest. The tall trees and the green gras and bushes seems to wave at him to come to them.

"Well lives is never perfect, i knew this since i was little. Caring about what other peoples thought about me will only make me die of frustration..."

Shaking his head left and right Izumi then opened the window and looked down. He was in the second floor and looking at the ground bellow, Izumi was sure that he could break his legs if he jumped down.

However, Izumi was not your average teenager. He knows some parkour trick that will enable him to jump from this height with no trouble.

"Time to go!"

Exclaimed Izumi as he pressed his right hand on the windowsill and jumped down with a bright and childish smile on his lips.
