End of first week: Someone new ;).

More or less everyone had reached their goals and Grace and Jolin were so happy that they achieved their parents' goal of staying on the same team and would definitely help their city together.

* On Another Villages Training camp*

Mark Goodman was from Tycoon City. He personally was excited for this camp and hoped to form real relationships because from where he came, a lot of the business men were fake. He knew this because half of his family was from the business and his moms side had the fighters in them. At first, his uncle wasn't letting him join, but after he saw the potential to gain the advantage on other families by having someone train under the best to hopefully protect their assets physically, was all it took for him to bend his arm. Little did he know, that wasn't marks plan.

Everyone on that village was taken to the Forest area 1. They were the first ones in training today. Half of the other villages would be doing workouts. Mark and his cabin mates arrived at the edge of the forest with all their gear ready.

INST 5: " 3 person teams. You need to clear the obstacles as fast as possible. Last 2 teams will receive a punishment. Fighting between teams is allowed, so guard all your angles. Our medics will be on standby at the end of the courses. You have an emergency beacon. If used before the end of the course, this will indicate your removal of the program. If your teammate is between life and death, and the beacon is used after the halfway line, him/her will have the choice to either abandon or continue with the program but your team will receive a time penalty. Good luck to you all!"

Mark and two of his Cabin mates gathered and looked at the map on the course. If one teammate failed to pass the obstacle, the team would receive 5 penalty points. The faster they completed each course and the places they received, the more points they would gain. If only 1/3 of the teammates could pass, they wouldn't receive any points but they still had to go through it. Some obstacles were more dangerous than other, some containing spikes but with a lot of space in between so that if anyone did fall, they could at least evade the spikes.

Mark: " Okay, so that's the plan and now let's get going! Come on we got this!"

The 3 man team chose the right most obstacle course and ran that way as soon as the bell rang. First obstacle was climbing a tree and getting to the top, where a wire with handles attached would let them glide across part of the forest to their next checkpoint. They had distributed their gear according to their strengths and weights. One team chose the middle path, and had long range attackers in their team. The other team chose the left most path. They had to follow a stream for 100m and all wore their water suits so that they wouldn't get wet and therefore not become heavier when they came out. They hurriedly changed clothes.

Mark's team successfully held onto the rope even after rocks were suddenly launched at them from different directions. As soon as their feet touched the floor they cleared their sweat and ran towards a pile of logs. They had to carry these into an unfinished bridge and place enough so that they could cross, with extra 5 points awarded if they delivered a cart full of things across it. They decided to forgo the extra points and get ahead as soon as possible because they didn't know when they would meet the team on the middle path. They couldn't be sure that they wouldn't attack them.

The team on the left, had fortunately worn sturdy water suits bc halfway through, they felt and saw movement underwater. There were snakes! Fortunately, their suits were strong enough that the bites didn't penetrate and they ran across the water as fast as possible. They decided to rest on the other side while they took their suits off. They would need to cross a pit next and could only step on poles, this would test their balance.

The middle team had one person checking on the other teams through their binoculars. One of their tasks was actually to mess with the other teams any time they encountered them, this was explained in a note on their second obstacle. This was after they just had to go over piles of things, sticky materials, etc. It was them who had launched rocks at marks team from hidden launching mechanisms. Next they could choose one row of poles to crumble at any time for the left team.

*LEFT TEAM*

They were all crossing carefully and skillfully across the poles. Then suddenly, their team leader told them to jump because the poles they were standing on suddenly had a mechanism that activated and he immediately suspected they would fall. Thankfully, they all listened just in time and grabbed the front poles. One of them was slower so his hands were the only parts of his body resting in top of the pole. The other closet helped him get on top and they crossed to the other side, but not before evading multiple rock shots. If any hit, a concussion would be the least of their problems. They quickly ran inside the forest rain and took cover.

*** Right Team***

Marks team was almost done placing the poles down when arrows started raining down. They didn't panic right away because they noticed the arrows were aiming at the ropes holding some logs together as well as those supporting ropes holding the bridge for extra support. They decide to throw their equipment across and get their best jumper on the other side, using him to help the other if they missed the edge of the other side of the bridge. Mark luckily got into action and were spared a painful fall. They ran inside the forest to gather again.
