Chaos is the name of the new MMO in town, one that is based on VR. The developers have worked hard to replicate the reality onto an MMO environment. Humanity hopes to learn of unknown through the help of this game to save earth from dying and advance themselves from an insignificant race to the rulers. The Dev team has prepared a team of competent members to venture in the game to contribute to the cause, we follow the story of such a member!
Throughout the story, I will take the opinion of the readers and should I find any suggestion great and interesting, I will figure out a way to include it in the story.
All the names of person and character are fictional and have no relation with their real counterparts should they exist.

VRMMO: Chaos

Today is a big day for humanity. Finally after researching for such a long time, humanity managed to produce a true virtual reality, one that is made replicating the reality everyone lives in. They have also created an AI system to support that world. While the world celebrated with this news, countless people joined at Los Angeles Convention Center, the very location of the biggest gaming convention every year, E3, because here the developer company of these technologies are going to reveal about the MMO they produced. The MMO which they named as Chaos.


Prior to the development of VR, all the governments across the world joined together and formed the Earth Humanity Federation (EHF). The earth at this time is not that good, due to years of abuse of environment, Earth already started to break down. No matter how much scientists across the world tried to prevent this but there simply was not enough resource nor technology to develop something that can restore Earth to it's former state. At this time, when the world was doing everything it can to look for ways to restore balance, including countless bills made to stop people from doing anything that accelerated the breakdown process, this VR technology is developed.


While it is true that EHF prepared to evacuate the planet as the final way, humanity has lived on Earth for such a long time after all, leaving the planet which is their home and drift in space to unknown. Therefore the EHF wanted to use this VR to understand and replicate technologies to save humanity.


However, since the VR could replicate the entire reality, it is impossible for the EHF to send researchers to just explore aimlessly without any understanding of what will wait for them. Thus they decided to make the humanity shoulder the burden themselves by making the world's massive population to explore the VR themselves. This proposal also benefited the developer company "Serenity". They made the VR in the form of a MMO so that the humanity can explore and enjoy the process. 


EHF accepted this. After all, EHF didn't wanted to spend a huge amount of resources after this project after all they had already spent. A server system capable enough to handle the huge load of having a Galaxy running and players across the world to access it costed even the EHF too much resource. Earth already don't have much resource left anymore, so EHF can't afford to spent anything else unless they find an alternative way to gain more resource.


Now, Serenity is going to announce many details about this MMO as well as the collaboration they have with EHF. After all, no matter what, unless you give benefits, people won't give their all to work for you, even if they are having fun with it. So, today they are going to announce details the world is thirsty to know about, at this special place for gamers. It is 9:55 AM right now, in 5 more minute, the world will learn about Chaos and everything they can achieve in it.
