Chapter 2

Anna Wilson's parents were well known names in the business world .Her parents and brother loved her dearly and gave her everything she ever wanted .Her command landed everything she wanted under her feet.

Anna was raised in such a loving environment and that made her bear an imposing attitude. She felt that she'd get anything she would set her eyes on and she worked for it smartly as well.

Many people approached Anna with ill intentions and she could sense them right away.Sasha was the same . She knew Anna's background and started hanging out with her. Anna made her a sidekick as she found Sasha's family beneficial to her.

This way Sasha clearly maintained a fine line between people she loved and people she used .

Sasha couldn't bear that a nobody like Emily humiliated her in front of everyone . She called Anna and started ranting about the incident to her.

" I swear to god Anna, they were the rudest people I ever met ." Sasha concluded the story with this statement.

" That must have felt terrible Sasha . How are you coping with it ? ", Anna faked her concern.

I don't know where she got such arrogant attitude from. She could attend Harbor High only because of the stupid scholarship"

" Don't worry sweetie , I'll take care of it . Such people should be taught to obey and stay low ."

Anna put down her phone and wondered about the situation. If the Emily chick could retaliate against her friend she sure must have the nerve. Anna always hated people that tried to look down on her or her people and challenged her.

Anna knew she had to teach Emily a lesson .

Emily woke up late the next day. Her roommate had already left and for all the obvious reasons didn't bother to wake her up. Emily quickly got ready and was ready to start her first day of high school in Harbor High.

Emily put on her bracelet which she made with her mother when she was younger .Whenever she feels lost she looks at the bracelet and reminisces her mother .Emily always admired her mother and tries to be a headstrong person like her.

Emily goes to Lucy's room to find her frantically searching frantically for something.

"What's wrong Lucy ? " Emily questions her.

" I can't find my tie ! Oh no I'll have to skip breakfast now . I'm going to be late on the first day of high school ! " Lucy yelled.

Emily just smiled "Don't panic Luce " , she was used to Lucy being so clumsy .

Emily helped her find her tie . After getting ready Lucy and Emily rushed to the main block. They noticed that they weren't in the same class after checking the list .

Lucy was not happy " Why did we end up in different classes Em !".

" It's alright. We can at least meet during breaks. "Emily comforted her.

Emily rushed to her class after saying goodbye to Lucy. She was afraid that she was going to be late. By the time she reached the classroom the class had already started.

All eyes were on her as she stood by the door . Mrs. .Rose, the Chemistry lecturer gave Emily a side glance and sighed .

"Looks like some people are yet to learn what punctuality is ."

Saying so she gave Emily a hostile stare and said , " May I know your name miss ?"

Emily was embarrassed. "Emily Williams miss", she replied in a low tone .

"Miss Williams I don't care why you were late for my class but please do repent on it by standing outside for the rest of the class duration."

Emily was mortified. Her first day of high school was off to a bad start .

" Looks like it's not going be easy for me here in Harbor High " Emily muttered under the breath as she stood outside the class.

After the class Mrs. Rose walked past Emily

" Hope you have learnt your lesson Miss Williams. Please make sure you are punctual and behave properly with others. I heard you started bullying some of the students. Make sure you remember that Harbor High will not tolerate any undignified acts as such . "

She walked away before Emily could defend herself .

Emily stood there , dumbstruck. " What did I do ? Who spread such a rumor about me and why ? "

With such thoughts running in her head Emily walked into the classroom .

" Looks like you made a good impression on Mrs. Rose Emily " someone commented .

Emily turned back to look at that person. It was Sasha. She was standing next to a blonde haired girl who had a smug smile on her face . It was Anna.

" So you are Emily huh ." Anna eyed Emily head to toe as she said so , " Hope Mrs. Rose gave you a good talk sweetie "

Emily understood that it was Anna's doing. Emily was outraged but she didn't want to respond to Anna.

" Looks like it was too much for you to handle Emily but don't worry , I have a lot more in store for you." Anna walked away after throwing another smug smile at Emily.

Emily was at utter disbelief . She couldn't understand why these people would go all the way just for a petty reason. Emily just rolled her eyes and started walking towards an empty seat. Everybody was glancing at her as they whispered amongst themselves. Emily found it annoying but tried to ignore it.

None of her classmates were interested to talk to her . She understood that it was also Anna's doing. These spineless people were probably obeying her command or whatever .Emily patiently coped with it though.

Soon it was lunch break.

Emily rushed to the cafeteria and found Lucy sitting all by herself having an ice cream . Lucy noticed Emily and waved at her beckoning her to come.

Emily chuckled looking at Lucy's face covered in cream . She walked towards Lucy and wiped it off Lucy's face.

" Emily this ice cream is the only thing helping me cool off after such a disastrous day ! do you know everybody was ignoring me as if I was a monster ."

Lucy was fuming with anger .
