"FOOLS!!!!" The hooded figure bellowed at his trembling followers. The Great Hall of Baphomet violently shook at the expense of his rage.
"YOU DARE CALL YOURSELVES ASSASSINS??? IMBECILES!!!!" He shot a powerful surge of obsidian magic at his minions - obliterating everything in its path.
The remaining cloaked henchmen cowered in fear of their master's wrath.
"Oh dear. What's the matter, my lord?" Another figure emerged from the shadows and revealed a beguiling demoness in scarlet robes. Her fangs teasing from her bloodred mouth as she smiled wickedly at their furious guest.
"Your master's disciples are incompetent fools, Alice!" The cloaked figure replied, still shrouded from plain sight.
"They couldn't even incapacitate an already disadvantaged mage - even outnumbered him twelve to one!" He yelled in outrage.
Alice feigned concern and chided, "I've heard he had some help" She then dismissed the shadowmen, leaving only the two of them to continue their conversation in private.
She took a step closer to the corner where the figure hid in the darkness. Her large devilish wings scraping the floor of the great hall as she approaches. While her glowing amber eyes tried to see the guest's face from obscurity.
"Don't come any closer, demoness" He warned while igniting a faint magical spark in his hands. "Your kind reeks of death even from a mile away"
Alice cackled at his sudden wariness. She's glad their guest still knew his real place in the court of her master.
Although she quite understood his frustrations, throwing a tantrum in the presence of Baphomet's disciples was simply intolerable for her. She could easily snap his neck and suck the blood dry from his veins but thought of saving it for another time.
She smirked at the thought.
"Our master says he would be of great help to you, my lord." She reassured. "Do not fret, they won't stop unless we get what our master wants from the boy."
"Just make sure you dispose of him afterwards! I don't need him thwarting my plans anymore than you do!" He answered.
She grinned and agreed to his terms, "Of course."
Seemingly contented with her assurance, the cloaked figured turned his back on the demoness and proceeded to tesser back to his source before she uttered something that halted him from his tracks.
"Oh, before you should go, my lord." She called out from the shadows, "The girl, who helped him escape from my disciples? She held a familiar rifle..."
He clenched his fists tightly after hearing her words.
"You should at least know. Afterall, you were the one who enchanted it before... Did you not?" She teased.
The demoness surely knew how to infuriate the mysterious guest. Alice made sure to hit a sour spot before he leaves.
He let out another piercing shriek shaking the cavernous chamber before completely disappearing into the darkness.
