Bullet 1 : Weak

"Hey sister, not my hair!" A small voice shrieked and laughter followed it. The atmosphere was very warm and pleasant, not a bit of negative energy can be detected.

A stunning lady in her teens was sitting on a chair as she watches her brother scowl at her. A grin bloomed from her flawless face as she realized that the mage before her was trying to intimidate her.

She couldn't help but giggle seeing her little brother's refined face turning a darker shade of red as time passes by.

"But Harley, I heard you saying that I am the only who can touch your hair. How come your actions now differ from what you sai-" Lesley was cut off when her brother shouted her to stop.

She chuckled again "Alright, alright. I will stop teasing you now." Although his face looks like it would explode any minute now, she knew he likes her annoying remarks but his stubborn self just prevents him from admitting so.

Two elegant figures slowly approached their sights, and before they knew it, they got crushed by a hug.

A scent of fresh lilies reached their noses and they recognized it as their mother, the lady of the Vance household.

"What a lovely sight you two are, I missed you all so much" said by their mother as she dabbed her handkerchief on her eyes. No doubt, Mrs Vance is a very emotional person.

Their mother was known for having the most suitors back then because of her alluring and eye-catching face. Her long and silky orange hair was tied in a messy low side bun with some strands decorating her exquisite face.

Her long and fan-like eyelashes made her deep emerald eyes look more captivating.

Their mother walked with a bright and positive vibe around her, unlike their father who emits a cold and domineering aura around him.

Their father is strict and very handsome despite being in his forties already,

he is in charge of the family and of course, the training of the siblings.

"Lesley" Hearing her name, Lesley gracefully stood up and walked towards her father to discuss business. Thus, the mother and son pair were left to amuse their self with colourful flowers planted in the garden.

After a while, all of them sat under a tree to eat the refreshments prepared by their servants. They look so picture-perfect and very pleasant to the eyes. Yet because of that, it attracted jealousy and trouble for the family.

"Hey sis, look there's som-" Harley exclaimed in confusion.

It was exactly at that moment their serene and tranquil bonding was ruined.

Everyone's mood suddenly turned grave, all of them anticipated this to happen, but not this soon!

Mrs Vance made Harley fall asleep then gave it to Lesley and with a pained expression, she whispered 'go'. Unfortunately, not all things go the way we want to. Before they can even escape, their enemies caught onto them and a fight soon broke out.

The battle has been going on for four hours already and after Mr Vance slashed the last person in his way, Lesley saw someone sneaked behind her father holding a cursed sword.

"Dad, look ou-" before Lesley could even finish her sentence, her father was already stabbed in the chest and is slowly burning away.

She can't believe it, her father is dead. She can't comprehend it. No! Her father can't die! He's strong and was feared by many. No one can kill him!

Lesley slowly lost herself in despair and her body moves with her emotions.

She pulled the rifle from her father grasps and shot everyone down. Every bullet had hit its mark, the forehead of her enemies. Even though she lost herself, she still did not miss any shot.

Pain. Anger. Loss.

That's the only emotions she felt while struggling to walk out of the burning mansion while carrying an unconscious child in her arms.

She remembers everything before it happened. How they destroyed everything and took all the happiness from them. How everyone was murdered in front of her eyes. How powerless she felt when she saw everyone she cared for burned into ashes. How she cold-bloodily slaughter all the enemies in the once beautiful garden that had turned into a bloody battlefield.

She saw how she massacred everyone and was branded as a monster in the memories of the ones she had killed.

She knew it wasn't just mere jealousy or slaughter. It was something far deeper, it might be connected about her father who can see the future.

Lesley clenched her hand and a cold glint flashed in her eyes.

All their efforts on hiding it from the prying eyes were all in vain as it was still discovered.

She held her rifle in a very tight grip and slowly walked towards a tree to put down the sleeping child.

"Dear brother, forgive me, I-I failed... I failed to save everyone, especially our parents." She slowly said as she caressed the hair of her brother, tears were silently rolling down her cheeks.

She looked up to the sky, eyes full of hatred.

"I swear to revenge and kill them, even if it costs my life." she spat venomously, yet no matter how strong she was, another tear can't still help but escape her eyes. Followed by another. Then another. And another until she was a crying mess.

"Why? What did we do wrong? Why take them away?! WHY THEM!!"

She shouted until her throat was sore and can no longer speak utter a single word. She didn't care if she was heard by anyone, heck she was hoping that someone would hear it but she knew her screams was blocked off by the burning embers and silence.

'Weak. You are weak.' That was the last thing she heard before blacking out.
