The moment they saw the mage tossed like he was nothing but a sack of rice, the students moved away from him as if he was contaminated with a deadly disease.
Only Harley and Nana moved without caring about the warning bells ringing inside their head, yet the next moment utterly terrified the other students.
They both vanished in midair!
The only senior who was with them was dumbfounded and stared at the last spot the two were in before disappearing. He tried scratching his eyes to see if it truly happened and like a bucket of water suddenly poured on him, he abruptly searched the whole area to search for the two mages.
"Hurry and split up to search for them!" The frantic voice of the senior awakened everyone from their daze and started to realize the gravity of the situation. The Star of the Academy suddenly vanished into thin air, how are they supposed to explain that to their teachers?

The chirping of birds and the angry stare of the sun awakened Harley from his slumber. He tried to stand up only to realize a sleeping Nana is hugging him tightly. He tried avoiding the thoughts and the heavy stammering of his heart which muddled his thoughts, yet a blush still crept its way to his face.
Harley glanced around to see nothing but trees and small animals. He decided to wake up the sleeping beauty in his arms, although against his wishes. Her long eyelashes trembled and her eyes opened.
A pair of clear blue orbs and hypnotizing emerald eyes clashed, intense emotions were clearly seen.
Nana averted her eyes first and jumped away as she realized how intimate their position is, with her arms wrapped around him like a koala and his legs dangling with her. Both of them coughed to eased the sudden awkwardness around them.
Seeing her face redden, Harley thought it was cute. The days he spent with her led him to realize that he likes Nana, to the point of glaring at men ogling her shamelessly. He was sure she felt the same as the way she acted around him.
"U-uh, so do you have any idea what happened?" Nana asked before picking up the fallen hat which she gifted Harley for saving her life. "I am not sure either, the last thing I remember is a blinding light and before I know it, I woke up in this place." the young mage answered and accepted the hat Nana picked up for him.
He was really touched back then as he wasn't accustomed to going out with his hat. That's why when Nana gifted it to him, she unconsciously broke the defences of Harley and made her way into his heart.
The two decided to get out of the forest, hence they both started walking. In the middle of their journey, they found a place full of blooming flowers. They decided to rest there first and find something edible to eat.
"Hey Nana, blow on my hand!" Harley called out, a mischevious glint in his eyes caused Nana to look at him suspiciously before blowing on his gloved hands. A rose mysteriously appeared in his hand and gave it to Nana which in turn blushed. The leonin swiftly grabbed the rose in his hand and turned away to hide her flustered face.
The two continued their light talks for an hour while munching on the sweet berries they found.
Nana, who has the sharpest hearing suddenly froze and looked towards one of the bushes slightly further than them, this made the naughty mage beside her took a 180-degree turn in a matter of seconds.
The two faced each other and then nod.
Harley got up first and protectively hid Nana behind him so that he'll receive the harm first before the female leonin. The bush swayed violently and the two mages stiffen when a rolling silvery furball entered their eyes, it was clutching its head as if in misery.
It uncurled from its position and the two were startled upon seeing someone like them in this foreign place. Moreover, he looks like Nana! Furry big ears and a leopard-like tail were slightly shivering.
"What's a feline doing here?" Nana exclaimed in shock. The Feline People are a peaceful kind that seeks tranquillity, they also have been the most faithful ally to the Moon Elf since history begins.
The female leonin was debating whether to help the feline before but seeing him quiver in pain, she quickly dismissed all the thoughts in her mind. Curing him comes first.
Harley watched Nana treat the feline. He thought she would make a good wife and how she looks very fitting to be his wife.
A groan snapped the dazed mage who slapped his head for thinking such thoughts! He quickly went to where Nana was healing the feline who showed signs of waking and warily held his cards in case something happened.
The feline's eyelids slowly and blinked a couple of times, intelligent golden irises stare at them before narrowing.
"Who are you?" a smooth voice asked.
"My, my, we should be the one asking you that." Harley sarcastically replied and Nana glared at him for doing so. The former just said 'tsk' and shut his mouth.
"Is that so? Then I'm leaving." The mage almost flared up! "Why you! After Nana cur-" Before he could even finish his sentence, Nana elbowed him in the stomach
"Shush Harley" The leonin decided that she would do the talking instead as she was afraid Harley would ignite a fight.
"I'm Nana and I'm very sorry for my friend's behaviour. He's just being cautious as you are the first being we've come across upon appearing in this place." The mage humphed and angrily sat on the rock before glaring at the feline.
"I see. I'm Harith." The feline tried to stand, only to fall down again because of the ache he felt in his head. "Woah, stay lying down there for a moment. You're running a fever." Nana carefully helped Harith lie down.
The silent mage was extremely furious!
He's really starting to hate this white-haired furball. First, he was treated by Nana. Second, he was ungrateful. And now he's taking advantage of the leonin's kindness?!
Harley grinded his teeth in anger. If stares could really kill, then he would've murdered Harith a long time ago.
The feline was panting so hard as he felt dizziness take over him. Alas, he fainted again before the two could ask questions.
