Chapter 23: Battle.

"What a pain in the ass," Raito lamented while looking at the 6 Corpses that standing in front of him, their eyes are similar to him. On their Backs, there are [Black Receivers].

'I need more Chakra to use these Techniques longer,' Raito thought as he deactivated his Rinnegan causing all the standing corpses to fall down on the ground.

Raito stored the Corpses in one of his Storage Scroll then left the room.

It's been a few weeks since the Day when Raito used his Rinnegan for the first time.

These past few weeks, nothing important happened except a Rumor about [Night Raid].

"We're going to split into 2 Groups," In the Meeting Room of Jaegers, Esdeath is informing the Members of Jaegers about the plan.

Esdeath planned that the Jaegers will form 2 groups. One will head towards East while The Other One will head North.

"Roger," All of the members except the Raito who is sipping tea nodded.

"Then, let's go," Esdeath said as she left the Room followed by, the Metal Arms Girl, Dr. Stylish, Run. They would head to one of the Destinations.

"Let's go too," Raito said as Esdeath assigned him to be the Leader of the Group.

Kurome, Wave, and Bols nodded as the 4 left.

"Don't you think this is a Trap?" Wave asked Raito.

"Most likely," Raito answered, after a long time of traveling the group was on their way towards the Rumored Destination of Night Raid's Base.

"Watch Out!" All of sudden Wave said as he was about to block the attack that was about to hit Kurome, Raito already beat him to it.

*TING*

Raito blocked the Attacked with his Wind Chakra Channeling Sword.

"Ah~" Raito lightly yelled as he was sent flying to the air.

"Raito!" Bols yelled to the flying Raito.

Like a Missile, Raito flew into the Air.

"Shit!" Wave cursed as he transformed into his [Teigu]

Bols also readied his [Teigu] for a fight.

While Kurome was greatly angered that someone just hurt an Important Person to her, Kurome treats Raito as a Big Brother as he was always there for her and always give her Biscuits when she needs it.

"I will kill you," Kurome said as she unsheathed her [Teigu] and pointed it on the Air, then a black orb-like started to form then

*CRACK* *CRACK*

Corpses started to come out from the Ground.

"Good Job, Susanoo," All of sudden, Many of the [Night Raid] Members appeared behind the 2 horned man who sent Raito flying.

In a far distance, Raito is currently sitting on a thick branch while watching his Teammates and [Night Raid], Raito pretended that he was sent flying just to watch an Interesting Show.

Even though, Najenda saw that Raito was sent flying she knows that Raito isn't a weakling so she concluded that Raito pretended that he was sent flying and now currently watching the show that is about to go on.

"Nee-chan," Kurom greeted Akame.

"Kurome," Akame greeted back Kurome as she unsheathed her [Teigu], [Muramasa].

Without further Ado, the 2 Groups started to fight.

After watching the 2 Groups fighting for a few minutes, Raito disappeared from his spot then appeared behind a Certain Girl with Lollipop in her mouth.

"Hey," Raito whispered in her ear.

The Girl with Lollipop trembled for a bit but managed to calm herself, she turned around with a pout on her face while looking at Angrily with Raito.

"How many times I need to say that don't do that to me!" Chelsea said with a pout on her face, these past weeks, their relationship level up, well, that's Chelsea's Opinion. Raito would always appear behind her and whispered on her ears making Chelsea trembled then after some scolding from Chelsea, Raito would give her a desert-like food that he made himself.

"We're enemy right now, you know?" Raito said as he was slightly confused about why Chelsea seems comfortable being with him even though they are enemies right now.

"Really?" Chelsea tilted her head in confusion.

"Because I don't really treat you as an Enemy," Chelsea said with a light smile on her face.

"Me too," Raito said as he pretended to take something from his pocket.

"Here," Raito handed Chelsea a new flavor of Lollipop.

"Avocado," Raito said while taking off the Plastic Cover of the Lollipop.

Chelsea took off the Lollipop in her mouth then threw it away.

"Ahh~" Chelsea opened her mouth as if saying 'Give it to me,'

Raito smiled as he put in the Avocado Lollipop in Chelsea's mouth.

"Good?" Raito asked

"8/10," Chelsea answered while still tasting the Avocado Flavored Lollipop.

"Hm," Raito nodded as he started to asked Chelsea what is lacking in the Lollipop and Chelsea started to answered his Questions.

The 2 don't seem to care about their Team, which fighting in life and death battles.
