Chapter Three: A Memory?

It was already morning and everyone was awake except for Kaja who got up late.

He went out of the room to look for Uranus and the others. By the hallway of the kingdom where he was flying, he heard laughters and murmurs coming from the Kingdom's Dining Hall. But before he was able to proceed in joining the group he heard a familiar voice echoing the whole place. His heart pounded like it never pounded before. Curious yet doubtful Kaja peek by the side of the archway leading to the dining area and saw everyone and another unknown face for him.

He was mesmerize on what he saw. A bright light shone upon his face unable to let him see the face of this bodily figure clearly. And then a voice disrupts the moment.

"Kaja what are you doing there? Come join us for breakfast". Harith smiled at Kaja while holding his hand leading him to the table.

The moment has broken. He sat beside his brother Uranus and started to look at the food deciding where will he start. Its like a feast at the Kingdom. Everybody is happy like the rumor wasn't true. Kaja is staring still at the table undecided until...

"Hi Kaja. Why don't you try this? I'm sure you will like it like I do". An innocent face smiling and staring at him handing him some food to try.

Kaja was a bit shock at the moment. And pauses for awhile. A memory. No. A dream. No. What is this feeling? This voice I'm hearing right now. Wait. I...

Uranus taps Kaja shoulder. "Brother? Have you forgotten our childhood friend? Rafaela."

Kaja thinks for a moment. A childhood friend he said? Why can't I remember this person clearly. There's a memory somewhere in my head. But I can't remember exactly. Who is she? Kaja's heart started pounding again.

Rafaela looks at Kaja giving him a sweet innocent smile. Kaja felt warm on his cheeks and just started to eat. Kaja was really impress of the taste of the food that Rafaela handed on. So he finish all what's on his plate and started to join the conversation even if he is still wondering and mind blown out of curiousity on who is Rafaela. And what was her role in his life. And where did they exactly met?

Kaja elbowed Uranus beside him and asked. "Uranus, You said Rafaela is our childhood friend but why can't I remember that exactly? Why am I the only one who forgot about her? And everyone especially you, knows her?".

Uranus look at Kaja and answered stuttering. "Uh.. - Bro.. - ther... Ah you know. Uh".

Then a small energetic voice shouted. "Uranussssss!!! Come on!!! Let's play in the garden again pleeeaaseeeeee! You, Me and Harith. And well... I think Alucard wants to play too isn't that right Alucard?". Nana staring at Alucard while one of her eyebrows up.

Alucard answered quickly because he doesn't want to be troubled by Nana's childish act again." Oh! Hehe sure sure!". With a smirk in his face.

Uranus left Kaja with relief. He actually don't know how to tell his brother all about it. And he doesn't want him to get mad at him.

The only one's left in the dining area were Kaja and Rafaela.

Kaja was almost to stand but Rafaela put her hand on top of Kaja's."Kaja why don't we get along too? Why don't you tell me about you and Uranus living in the Celestial Palace?".

Kaja lift his head and look at Rafaela's face. "If its okay with you to listen to a boring person like me then I wouldn't mind at all". Kaja answered with a calm tone.

Rafaela looks back at him and smiled. The two flew outside the balcony staring at the fullness of the Land of Dawn. The sun shines brightly at them. The scent of the flowers mixing together in the cool breeze of the wind. The birds singing in harmony.

Rafaela started to speak. "So Kaja, tell me. How is it living in the Celestial Palace?".

Kaja straightforwardly answered. "Its not that bad at all. When you are living there with the Eons' High Council its just so quiet comparing it here. They are really strict at all times. Especially with me for some special reason I don't know. They treat me like a child. Yet they are the ones who always act like children when they are in need of me and Uranus".

Rafaela laughs softly. "Kaja you never change a bit. You're still amusing as always, especially when you tell stories".

Kaja was surprised of hearing the same words that he heard from the voice in his dreams. He look at Rafaela absorbing everything that is happening in that moment. Its like he got lost in time and space. His world seem to stop. Lost again in his memories.
