Her First Crush II

After that event Joan keep on pretending like there's nothing going on with her but she was keeping her mind conscious all the time by keeping a distance away from Matthew each time they meet. Matthew notice this and thought that maybe it is part of Joan growing up so he didn't ask about it. When the school term is over Matthew had plan a surprise camping for Joan and her friends at Norauea Bridge, which is one of the camping place for the natives. Joan then invited 2 of her colleagues to her camping once she learned from her uncle the day before they would go camping. It was planned that her colleagues would arrive at the destination by 2 pm next day, she felt lighter learning that she won't spend the whole week camping with him alone or her secret might explode and he would hate her.

Early morning a white truck was seen parked next to Joan home. In outer islands in Kiribati, only bicycles, motorcycles and trucks are used in those area while in the capital they use a lot of vehicles and less use of bicycles.

Joan packed her stuffs that she is going to need during her 1 week camping while Matthew had a conversation with her relatives regarding their camping trip and also told them to not worry of their niece for he will protect her no matter what.

They boarded the truck @ 10 am and then drive to their destination, during the drive all the talk was from Matthew while Joan was becoming more shy around Matthew.

After almost an hour travelling the two finally made it to their camping destination, they set their tent but since Joan is a superstitious person and gets scared easily, they agree to share Matthew's tent since it is more larger. Matthew always lightened up the mood around them as Joan gets quiter around him.
