You Impressed Me, Mr. Tang Ke

Lei Qingshan stopped his car infront of an old building. The building was really old, it looked like it was built some fifteen to twenty years ago. Getting out of his car, he walked near the entrance. Since, it was really late, the shutters were closed.

Knocking on the steel shutter, he called out "Mr. Tang Ke?? It's me, Lei Qingshan."

Getting no response, he called out again "Mr. Tang Ke, are you there??"

He looked at the time in his watch; It's 11:40.

"That's weird. He told me to come and he isn't responding??"

Loosing his patience, he knocked again. This time more loudly.

*TAK* *TAKTAK* *TAK*

On his fourth knock, the shutter opened up. An old short heighted man came in his sight. "Ahh. Mr. Tang Ke. You finally opened the door."

Tang Ke was a man mostly in his fifties. He was short heighted and a bit plump. Wearing a blue worker attire, along with a hard hat and safety glasses, he stood in front of Lei Qingshan.

"Why did you call me?" Lei Qingshan asked as he heard the man speak nothing.

Not replying to his question, Tang Ke invited him in. "I wanted you to have a look at the thing which you ordered."

Entering inside the building, Lei Qingshan asked surprised "Is it done?"

Tang Ke looked at him with eyes full of doubts. "You got a doubt?"

Waving his hand, Lei Qingshan said "No, I mean this quick? Didn't you say that it will be ready by next week?"

Stopping right in his tracks, Tang Ke turned around. He looked up at Lei Qingshan. Since Lei Qingshan was 6'1 and Tang Ke was only 5'5.

"Just wait here." Tang Ke ordered Lei Qingshan to wait.

Within a minute, he came by holding a plastic chair. Keeping the chair beside Lei Qingshan, he ordered him. "Sit."

Lei Qingshan arched a brow and looked at him dazed.

"You are really tall, Mr. Lei Qingshan. It's difficult for a short guy like me to look at you. So, please be seated."

Giving a nod, Lei Qingshan sat on the plastic chair.

He then thought 'Isn't Liu Rushi also of this height? It might be difficult for her to look up at me, wouldn't it be? From next time, I should at least lift her up in my arms or I should at least bend over her.'

"There you go." Tang Ke stood in front of Lei Qingshan holding a mask in his hand.

"You see, Mr. Lei Qingshan. This mask is completely water proof. If by mistakenly, you wash your face with water, then it won't melt or get crumbled.

I have made it match perfectly with your skin color so that no one would doubt that you are using a mask. And, I just want you to try it on, I just want to make sure whether it is good enough or no. So, please put it on."

He handed the mask to Lei Qingshan and stood a little away from him.

Lei Qingshan took the mask in his hand and looked at it closely. Surely, it was a real different piece from what he had given him before. Last time, he had just given a hair extension and some fake lens.

This time, he had given him a completely different thing. A face mask.

He held the mask in his face and stood up. "Thank you." He expressed his gratitude towards him and took out a paper from his pocket.

It was a blank check. Doing his signature, he gave the check to Tang Ke.

Tang Ke looked at the check astoundingly, then he looked up at Lei Qingshan. "This... This... is a blank check... What will I do by this??" With shivering hands, he held the check tightly.

"It's your fee for creating such a unique piece." Lei Qingshan pointed at the face mask and wore it.

The moment he wore it, he looked different; entirely different.

'Your life will start from tomorrow!!!'

Tang Ke who wondered as to why Lei Qingshan had ordered him to create a mask asked with curiosity "Why did you wanted me to create a mask?? And that too, with features that didn't match with you??"

Lei Qingshan removed his mask and gave an evil smile. "There are some things which are need to be done stealthily. "

"Alright, I'm actually really surprised by you , Mr. Tang Ke. You said it would take you a month to get this done, but you did it in just two weeks. I'm impressed!! I'll soon come asking for another, so you better keep it ready..."

"There's no need to, Mr. Lei Qingshan. This mask is really going to work for a lifetime. I have made it as long lasting as ever. And also, it's usable for any skin types, so you don't have to worry about yourself anymore." Tang Ke explained in a more detailed way.

Listening about the unique properties of the mask, Lei Qingshan exclaimed. "That's wonderful. It will be more easy for me..."

He walked towards the shutter and got out of the building.

'Mr. Tang Ke's works are really unique and impressive. I'm thankful to have met him before.'

Getting in his car, he drove back to his house.

The next morning, Liu Rushi woke up being squeezed in between her parents. She stretched her body and yawned. She looked beside her and noticed her parents sleeping. She got out of the bed and rushed to the bathroom.

Freshened, she came out of the bathroom, only to see her parents sitting wide awake on the bed.

They look at her with wide eyes and she also looked at them surprised. "What's wrong??" She asked while combing her hair.

"We have decided something for you." Liu Jiangou said while averting his gaze from his daughter.

Liu Rushi looked at her parents upset faces. She noticed that something was off. So, she tried to lighten up the mood. "Let's talk about it later... I'm hungry!! So let's go and grab some food?? What say??" She looked at her mother with a bright smile.

Giving up after looking at his daughter's bright smile, Liu Jiangou agrees. "Fine! But there's one condition."

Liu Rushi looked at her father surprised "Condition??" Now, she really felt that she was going to end up somewhere different.
