The Surprise [Part 2]

As Liu Rushi could get more closer and overhear their conversation, she saw her brother coming towards her.

'That's it? What did my brother say? Wait!!! Why is he getting out of the car?' Liu Rushi started asking various questions in her mind. She had her mouth completely opened up in shock. The thing which she couldn't do, her brother was able to do in an instant? What did he do actually?

"RuRu, I'm heading inside. Come along with Lei Qingshan, got that?" Liu Zhang came closer to her and patted her head. Liu Rushi nodded and gave a smile.

Like a rabbit, she hopped towards Lei Qingshan and caught hold of his arm. "What did my brother say to you? You agreed to him but you didn't agree to come with me, huh?" She asked before giving a frown.

Lei Qingshan recalled what her brother told him and repeated the sentence the same way he had told him. "If you are not gonna come over then don't ever think of marrying my sister!!"

He ran his hand through his hair after recalling the deathly look in Liu Zhang's eyes. 'F*ck!' He cursed. For a second, he felt so afraid from Liu Zhang's glare but it seemed that all was fair in love and war!!

"Huh? Did Brother Zhang say that?" Liu Rushi asked surprised.

Lei Qingshan gave a nod and smiled. He kept his hand over her shoulder and pulled her close. "I'm happy to have you in my life, beautiful!"

As they were looking into each other's eyes and talking, a honk was heard and Liu Rushi looked towards the car which was being parked in the parking area.

"Feng Mian?" She asked surprised. She let go of Lei Qingshan as she felt embarrassed.

Wearing a beautiful long baby pink gown, Feng Mian got out of the car along with her husband Wu Muqing. She encircled his arm with him and they both approached Liu Rushi. These two looked like a wonderful pair, No! They were wonderful, actually. Feng Mian was really beautiful whereas Wu Muqing, he was tall and handsome!

Feng Mian excitedly approached Liu Rushi and hugged her.

Liu Rushi was surprised to see Feng Mian so, she didn't respond back to the hug. She was confused why she was here while wearing such a beautiful and lavishing gown.

Since, Wu Muqing and Lei Qingshan had met one another at Yang Yue's birthday party, they got to know each other well. They shook hands with a warm smile on their face.

Lei Qingshan was also taken aback by the sudden appearance of Feng Mian and Wu Muqing but he just shrugged it off thinking it as a pure coincidence.

"Alright! Let's go inside... It's getting chilly out here." Feng Mian rubbed her bare shoulders and Wu Muqing kept his coat over her. She gave a smile and he smiled back.

They really looked like a lovely couple!

Feng Mian entangled her hand with Wu Muqing and asked Liu Rushi and Lei Qingshan to come along. The grudge against Lei Qingshan was long gone after she got to know that Liu Rushi was deeply in love with him.

Liu Rushi hesitated to take the initiative to hold his hand. She was getting shy. She lowered her head to hide her beet red face.

Lei Qingshan observed this. The corner of his lips curved upwards in a captivating grin and he held her hand. Liu Rushi looked up at him surprised and he shrugged his shoulders indicating that it was just something casual for him to do so.

All four entered inside the house. And as they entered inside, the couple behind Feng Mian was extremely shocked.

Feng Mian and Wu Muqing had already known about the surprise so, they didn't have much surprised expressions on their face. But Liu Rushi and Lei Qingshan who knew nothing were completely shocked to the core.

Liu Rushi became even more surprised when she saw Feng Mian and Wu Muqing slowly approaching her family who had stood in front to congratulate them. She noticed the smug grin on Feng Mian's face.

"You knew about this, MianMian?" She asked surprised and she felt Lei Qingshan shaking her hand.

She saw him and he directed her to see to his right. Liu Rushi saw to her right and she saw her brother and sister-in-law standing in the kitchen wearing matching aprons and cooking hats.

They had a huge heart shaped cake in their hand. "Brother Zhang, you too?" She again asked surprised.

And that's when her family who stood in the front whilst blocking her way separated into two halves, Liu Rushi's eyes fell on the bright words stuck on the wall.

"Congratulations, Bride-to-be Liu Rushi and Groom-to-be Lei Qingshan!!"

As she read those words, her eyes instantly started filling up with tears. "Mom!! Dad!!" Unable to speak more, she joyfully ran towards them and hugged them.

"Thank you so much!" She said in a cracking voice.

As her parents hugged her, the whole family came along and hugged her. They formed a circle while hugging one another.

Lei Qingshan who was left out felt happy to see Liu Rushi excited. It was what he had wanted and he was glad that he got it. As he stared at the family hugging one another, he noticed Liu Jiangou, his soon-to-be father-in-law signaling him to come.

"Me?" Lei Qingshan asked surprised before pointing at himself.

He took careful steps when Liu Jiangou gave a nod.

Standing in front of them, he stammered "Yes?" His words hadn't even left his mouth when he felt Liu Jiangou pulling him along in the circled hug.

"You can't be left out like this!! You have now become a part of our family!" Liu Jiangou patted Lei Qingshan's back and everyone hugged like this for a few seconds.

Liu Rushi was really happy. Her parents had agreed to her.

"You are gonna take good care of her starting from today onwards!!" This time Liu Manni broke from the hug and pulled Lei Qingshan. She kept her hands on her waist and ordered him all that what he had to do.

Lei Qingshan agreed to all her commands while keeping his head lowered. Liu Rushi felt funny upon seeing this scenario.

'Hehe!! Mom sure knows how to handle her cold son-in-law!' She started to giggle.
