WHY NOW?

"Two questions, why? and why now?", Elise serious intonation with intense stares make the lawyer shifted on the sofa. At first he thought maybe Elise was just like any other woman, until she sent him a familiar stare as her grandfather. There was something unspoken and hatred in that eyes that send shiver to his entire being. Never know she has this power to make him, in his late 30's pay attention to her. He who used to work with a number of businessmans and womans in his career yet she was among the women who gave out deadly aura surrounding them that make her only standing alone, an intimidating human being. He cleared his throat and straighten his back before continue to speak.

"Ehem... He has trusted me to deliver the message personally to you regarding a personal meeting he wants with you. If anything you refuse to meet him, he wish to tell you that it is regarding your family matter that he insisted upon you. Please feel free to contact me or you can come to the company yourself for your presence will be expected" right after he finished his sentences in one breath, he momentarily stop for a moment to catch his breath before taking out his business card from within his suitcase and hand it to her. Seeing no desire whatsoever of her in taking it, he laid it on the table in front of her with several other documents.

Then he politely excused himself and walk away.

Elise remain static at the sofa for about 40 minutes more thinking and resenting her memories from her past. Slowly her hand touched the card and shoved it aside as she started to open the documents one by one.

As she finished, Elise laid her back on the back of the sofa. Her expression have been changing from surprise, hatred, and at last to pure satisfaction.

She dont find the idea of going back to her family pleasing but rather exciting. From the informations she read on the documents, she knew that they were now desperate enough to take her back to that house. His grandfather's company is not in its good condition as his position has been threatened by his enemy as they started to slowly digging into his health issues due to one mistake at a meeting. He who have no heir will be forced to take her back as a guarantee for him to further run the company without any loss. Finally she came to understand on what is going on and why.

"A company without anyone trusted and loyal enough for him to pass his position to. Where in hell he thinks that I can become his successor? Maybe I can play along with them as a very loyal granddaughter", with silent, slowly her mouth tilted into a smirked. Her eyes flashed with numbers of wicked thing in her eyes. This lucky prize will be the death of them all who used to treat and throw her as if she was a trash to them.
