Debut

In the summer of 1916, the British and French army's attack in Somme , became the bloodiest battle in the WW1 history, and every inch of advance requires thousands of soldiers to pay the price of blood.

On August 30th, the first batch of 49 "Mark 1" tanks were secretly shipped to France by the United Kingdom. In the early days of September, the helpless British general Hague said that the stalemate in the Western Front must be broken, and then the "Mark 1" Tank, which was ordered as a new weapon, was put into operation on September 13.

This is the first time the world has used tanks in combat. The British Army has invested a total of 49 "Mark 1" Tanks on the front line. However, after the tank brigade that entered the war on September 13th, they had not yet even reached the frontlines, 18 of them had broken down and are scrapped halfway due to various reasons.

In this way, nearly 1/3 of the armored division lost their combat power without even firing a shell. After the remaining 31 tanks arrived to a destination not far from the German position, they spread out on the 8km long line and began to use the 57mm gun to slam the German positions.

In an attempt to achieve a surprise attack, General Haig ordered all tanks to break through to the German positions in the early hours of September 15.

September 15, 1916.

In the early hours of the morning, the battlefield was foggy. The British "Mark 1" Tank began to sneak into the German position and quickly disappeared from the British commander's line of sight.

However, 31 Tanks have not yet reached the German position, and another 13 have been trashed: either there has been a technical failure, or they have fallen into a quagmire or fell into a crater. In this way, only 18 vehicles were left in the world's first tank division. The tanks drove slowly to the German positions like an old bull.

The German soldiers who were fighting in the trenches suddenly heard the strange metal clanging in the direction of the British positions. They wondered what is it that's making the noise, and they sneaked out from the trenches.

German soldiers suddenly discovered that the weird mechanical device exiting from a position of an uninhabited area of the fog and rushed straight to their defensive position position. The German soldiers had not had time to find out what was going on, and the "monster" suddenly burst its ire unto them.

Some German soldiers immediately fell one after another. The rest of the German soldiers were frightened and scampered from the trenches, and ran to the rer. As a result, the British army quickly occupied the trenches.

While depending on the power of the tank, the British army quickly advanced to the German third line of defense.

The 3rd company of the 16th Regiment of the German Bavarian Infantry.

Now, Lieutenant Wernst Gustav – Alex Dickintton has to face these challenges of the British army with his soldiers!

Point B, 7 am.

The third company soldiers have heard that the enemy used a steel weapon on the battlefield, but they have nothing to worry about.

Because before that, Lieutenant Wernst had introduced the new war weapon that the British army would use to the third company soldiers and told them how to stop those damn steel monsters.

The sound of gunfire, gunshots, and explosions became quite a common sight, and there was fierce battle everywhere. This also includes the third company's position.

"Enemy contact!!" exclaimed Sergeant Hall as he sighted British silhouettes at a distance.

"Get to your positions and prepare your weapons!"

Under the loud call of Lieutenant Wernst, all the soldiers immediately entered their combat positions.

Those damn British, let them come, our German bullets are eagerly waiting for them.

The heavy machine guns aimed at the opposite side, Sean, Beaver, Aiken, the three masters of the MG08 type Maxim Heavy Machine gun held their breaths.

Let those damn British come, and soon they will learn something amazing!

Alex found that he also was nervous of what was to come. This was his first positional battle. It would be a lie to say that he is not nervous.

A large group of British soldier appeared, and Alex licked his lips and made a gesture. The guns in the hands of the German soldiers were lifted up and aimed to their respective targets.

"Get rid of them! Kill them!"

Adolf Hitler hissed at the coming British soldiers.

Alex smiled mysteriouslt.

The enemy is getting closer…

closer....

"Open Fire!"

With the violent swing of Alex, his hand gestured.

The light and heavy weapons on the position fired altogether.

For that moment, with the weapon's roar, British soldiers fell like a piece of wheat under the sharp sickle of a farmer. Soldiers who was immediately hit slammed to the ground.

The gunshots of the Germans immediately became scarce as they see to it that not one is left standing the British may perhaps died or took cover on some of the craters.

These well-trained soldiers, they will never easily waste their bullets, Alex praised in his heart.

Perhaps some of the British soldiers think that there is no future on just laying down on a cover. After a while, the British soldiers then stood slowly on their feet.

At first glance of those soldiers, Alex thought... what a good target practice.

It is a huge mistake for anyone standing on an open field while under the fire of heavy weapons

The first thing that sounded after was the Sub Machine Gun in the hands of Alex. He saw a British soldier hit in the chest and immediately fell down.

He also saw that the British soldier was constantly struggling in a pool of blood, grabbing his throat with his hand as if to exhale something, yet he could do nothing. In short moment after, he died.

In fact, all the soldiers, whether German or British, are not wrong in this war. They are fighting in order to achieve the goals of those politics or interests.

Bunkerley's shooting is very accurate. The Mauser rifle seems to have life in his hands. The bullets always find the enemy automatically, almost one shot each.

Alex found that Bunkerley's expression was very serious and seemed to be doing something very sacred. And after each kill of an enemy, there is always something said in his mouth

Afterwards, Alexn once asked this excellent sharpshooter Bunkerley and replies him that he was praying for the enemy that fell under his gun.

How pious, what a lovely soldier.

Sean; the main shooter of the heavy machine gun is completely different. He does not hesitate to pour the bullet into pieces and pour it at the enemy, while constantly cursing it.

It is said that Sean becomes a madman when it comes to battle, and it seems that it is not fake.

And Adolf Hitler seems to be quite stiff. He seems to be shooting his gun with his eyes closed and he still can't get rid of his nervousness.

The bullets ruthlessly hit the enemy, and the enemy fell in large numbers. The frontlines became a terrible meat grinder, ruthlessly dragging strips of lives and then smashing it.

This is what is feared in the battlefield.

British couldn't hold it. Yet at this time, there was a roar of metal noise behind them, and then the British soldiers consciously flashed to one another and then grinned.

Alex looked at it and shouted:

"Tank !"
