Darkness and Starlight

Ruby- R..ny ...a..y Rainy... Rainy!!

I woke up, and sat down on the bed.

Rainy- w-what...

Ruby- Rainy!

Rainy- what! Has something happened?

Ruby- no, but we are on the opera house. And I've been waiting for more stories, you know?

Rainy- oh! Hehe, don't worry, I'll tell you some stories while we wait for the opera to begin.

Ruby- really!?

Rainy- yes. Now go tell your mother that I'm awake.

Ruby- sure!

Ruby went out of the room running, and I used this chance to use magic that cleans me up. I don't have time for a shower. I got out of the room, and saw that everyone was ready, so we went out of the airship, and begun walking towards the opera house.

During the walk, I talked with Harry a little.

Rainy- hey, fun fact, I can control my shadow form now!

Harry- what? Really!?

Rainy- yep, I fought the darkness of my heart during my sleep. And my courage helped me, quite literally. It was weird, but I know it's true.

Harry- well, congratulations. Hermione is going to be really happy with that.

Rainy- yeah. I hope so. It's weird being part of the boggart of a friend.

Harry- ...it is weird. But also understandable. You are quite creepy when surrounded by darkness, you know?

Rainy- I know, to fight my darkness I had to fight myself on that form. But I think that it was kinda cool.

Harry- of course you would think that...

Rainy- I'm sure that Shadow here would think the same!

Shadow-.....

The journey was pretty normal, and soon we reached the opera house. It was quite big, and after showing our tickets, the manager told us that we 4 would have to go to another part of the opera. Celes and her friends bought normal tickets, but ours were VIP tickets.

Rainy- well, there's nothing to do. See you later Celes! (the name is Darkness and Starlight... maybe it will be better than expected)

Celes- yes, take care.

The four of us sat down on our seats. I had on my right Harry, then Sirius, and then Juny. To my left there was a woman on her thirties she had long blue hair, and yellow eyes. She had a blue dress and bracelets for women on both wrists.

Rainy- (another VIP? ... wait, she must be...!)

???- hello, Stray One. My name is Aomajo.

Rainy- ... blue witch in Japanese? Why does it seem like a fake name?

Aomajo- please, you only need a name to call me as such. It's not like knowing my true name means something. Besides, when did you learned Japanese?

Rainy- I didn't, but I know some words from the Japanese magical community.

Aomajo- anyway, let's get down to business. I called you here to make a deal.

Rainy- a deal with you guys? Do you see me as someone that would make a deal with the Daijuroku?

Aomajo- no. But that's not it. I want you to make a deal with me. Not with the Daijuroku.

Rainy- seriously, The Last half has traitors everywere...

Aomajo- not really... it's just complicated... he thinks of everything as a game, and of everyone as part of that game. He thinks of himself as the player, the only one real. And that has lead to some... questionable decisions.

Rainy- I can see why it would...

Aomajo- so the deal is that you manage to not kill him. I want you to beat some common sense into that head of his.

Rainy- he has tried to kill me, or steal my powers, or both, and is the reason I have grown on another world. Are you seriously asking me to make him ''good''!?

Aomajo- ...yes. He has something inside that makes him so powerful. I'm sure you could copy it with extract like you do with everything else. And with all you have already done to be strong, he won't be a menace anymore if you defeat him. All I ask you is not to kill him.

Rainy- and why do you care about him? If he thinks of everyone as part of the game...

Aomajo- I'm not on that category... he sees me as part of his team. But I think he knows to some extent that this is not a game... I just don't think he can handle the responsibility of his actions until now if this is not a game.

Rainy- ... I see... I won't promise anything. If I have to kill him, I will. But if I can avoid it, I won't kill him. I just won't lose before killing him. Got it?

Aomajo-... yes. But know this. If you kill him, the next to die will be you. I'll make sure of it.

Rainy- *sigh*... well, is that all? ¡

Aomajo- yes, it is. I thought that you would bring more friends. Is that kid your boyfriend?

Rainy- no. I'm just doing him a favor bringing him here with his godfather who just got out of jail. And Juny is my bodyguard, more or less.

Aomajo- bodyguard? If something is a threat to you now, she won't be able to do anything... she's First Half level.

Rainy- meh, but she has knowledge. And is the strongest friend I have... (if you don't count Ixat.)

Aomajo- interesting... oh! By the way. Blackthorn wants to kill you, so expect him going after you with P'ndai. Maybe Juichy too.

Rainy- *sigh* I guess this is obvious... but you can't stop them right?

Aomajo- this meeting has never happened. And The Last Half has said that with your corpse he has enough to take your powers... so no.

Rainy- great...

Aomajo- besides, it will be a good training. You got Lorenz last time.

Rainy- what I don't get is why the Third Half hasn't tried to kill me yet.

Aomajo- Blackthorn has too much pride. He said that he was going to be the one to, and I quote him ''give you ten times the pain you gave Lorenz, and then rip your head clean.''

Rainy- hmm, he sounds reasonable...

As I was thinking on that, the opera begun. And it may be because it is my first opera... but it was freaking awesome! It is my favourite opera now, and probably it will be. I was silent all of the opera, and when it ended, Aomajo wasn't on her seat anymore. I told Harry, Sirius and Juny about what we talked, and got out to say goodbye to Celes and the rest.
