Chapter 4: The Golden Gun
(Y/N)'s POV
"NO DON'T PLEASE!" I screamed and cried loudly
"DON'T DO THIS TO ME!" I Pleaded, Jungkook sighs and pulls out his gun, my eyes widen and saw a Golden Gun on his grip
The Golden Gun..., my Aunt was shot by the Golden Gunner, she was the only person who understands my pain and sadness, we promised to see each other again at the Seaside of their country once I visit back, She promised to me to give me all of her novels to cheer me up once I visit back, but she died when I went to their house and saw a guy with a mask holding a golden gun, I was just 11 back then but I still remember a guy with those cold stares holding the golden gun.
he's one of the bulletproof scouts gang, the multiple family who wants our family eliminate so they can steal the fortune, they formed into a gang just to kill one of my family members
he's the boss of this generation.
"YOU!" I said and was about to launch at him but Hoseok held me, but that didn't stop me to budge out even if it's useless
Namjoon stops from dialling and looks at the both of us with a shock expression
"YOU KILLED MY AUNT!" I shouted
"YOU WERE THE WHO DESTROYED MY HOPE!, YOU WERE THE ONE WHO KILLED AN INNOCENT WOMAN!" I shout again and this time, his cold expression change into a shock one
"MY AUNT HAVE NOTHING WHEN I WAS 11, SHE WAS POOR AND WEAK AND YET YOU STILL KILLED HER!, FOR WHAT?!, BECAUSE SHE WAS PART OF OUR FAMILY?!" I snap making Jungkook feel nervous
"I WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU!, YOU KILLED THE ONLY PERSON WHO CAN MAKE ME HAPPY!, SHE WAS THE ONE WHO UNDERSTAND MY PAIN!, SHE WAS THE ONE WHO HELPED ME EVEN IF SHE'S POOR AND WEAK, LET ME TELL YOU THAT NOT ALL OF MY FAMILY ARE RICH MOSTLY OF US ARE POOR, MY AUNT IS POOR, MY MOM IS POOR, MY CURRENT AUNT AND UNCLE IS POOR, I'M POOR!, WE'RE ALL STRUGGLING TO LIVE!, THERE YOU HAVE IT!, I'M POOR!, GO ON!, KILL ME!, KILL ME FOR BEING NOTHING!" I said and open my arms wide, Hoseok releases me and looks at me with a shock expression as well, I grab the cutter that Jimin placed on the edge of the bed and point it towards my chest
"are you crazy?!" Hoseok snaps and I glare at him
"WHAT IS THERE TO LIVE?, you all killed my one and only hope..." I cried softly and was about to stab myself but Jungkook pulls the trigger and the bullet shot my hands making me drop the purple cutter
I screamed in agony, Hoseok went to Jungkook and punches him
"what is wrong with you?!" Hoseok snaps
the door opened revealing all of them coming inside of the basement with a concerned look
Jin widen his eyes and grabs the aid kit
"You two!, get him out of here!" Hoseok demans and Jimin and Taehyung drag Jungkook out who's eyes were lifeless with a blood on his mouth and a few bruises
"IF YOU THINK THAT I STILL LOVE YOU THEN YOU'RE WRONG, I'LL NEVER FORGIVE SOMEONE LIKE YOU!" I keep on screaming as they drag Jungkook out
Jin treats my wound and takes the bullet out, he continues to treat me as I watch it, I couldn't think properly anymore, I couldn't speak, I couldn't move, the person that understands me was killed by the person who I love wholeheartedly, once he was done at wrapping it with a bandaid, he looks at my eyes with something I can't understand
"you can't touch any object for now, it's best if you rest now" Jin said
"we're not done with her yet" Namjoon said and I scoff
"finish it then, I'm sure they won't rescue me" I smirk, Jin cups my cheek and left, Yoongi closes the door beside him as he watches us
Namjoon dials my dad's number and my dad answers it
"you already know that I don't want to talk to you (Y/N) right? so why the hell are you calling me?" he growls, Yoongi and Hoseok frowns and Namjoon speaks
"I'm afraid you're daughter is with us all beaten and tied up" Namjoon looks at me but I won't speak so Hoseok didn't have a choice but to hit me hard
I screamed in pain and had no choice but to call out dad
"dad... please help me..." I pleaded with a frail voice, my tears keep on falling down as I prepare myself for what's coming next
"if you want to help your daughter and set her free come meet us at big ville at house no. 0613, your daughter have 2 weeks to live, if you gave us 700,000,000$ in time then she's free, if you don't then she'll be killed right here, right now" Namjoon said as he grips on his gun
"and why would I help?, I don't like her anyway, she's a trash to my fortune, I won't spend a hundreds of millions for a useless person." he laughs and I start to cry even more, Yoongi was about to grab the phone but Hoseok held him to stop
"then I have no choice but to do this" Namjoon said and Hoseok covered my mouth tightly as he shoot the ground
For a few seconds my father laughs and applauds
"I'm proud of you, tell you what, since you cleared everything that was in my way, I'll pay double more than that or tripple" he said and all of us were shook
"are you sure?, you better not goof around" Namjoon said
"hahaha why would I lie to the person who granted my long wish?, I'll be there after 2 weeks because I'm at the other country and it's very important, yeah?"
"sure, be sure to keep your promise" Namjoon said and he laughs and cuts the call
Of course dad will never break a promise when it comes for granting his wishes...
I lay down feeling so hopeless, Namjoon starts to dial my Mom's number
"please don't..., don't tell my mom..., I don't want her to be worried and have a car crash again..." I said with all of my hope, I was too broken right now
"Namjoon tripple millions is already enough, don't drag her mother into this" Yoongi said and Namjoon sighs and stands up
"what now?" Hoseok asks
"we'll still keep (Y/N), incase if he lies, if he really lied to us then I guess we'll kill (Y/N) and all of her family one by one" Namjoon said and leaves the basement
"this is too much..." Yoongi said as he bang his fist into the wall and left
Hoseok looks at me with a sad look and hugs me tightly
"don't worry (Y/N), we'll make sure you'll live, if they don't..."
"I'll protect you." he said and kisses my forehead and left
I lay down and curl myself into a ball as I cry myself until I fall asleep.
no one will save me.
no one will protect me.
Namjoon's POV
I walk back to my office only to find Jungkook getting punched by Yoongi, I ran to them and hold Yoongi
"Yoongi what's wrong with you?!, Jungkook why didn't you fight back?!" I ask and none of them speak
"do you want me to teach you both english 24/7?" I ask and they shake their head quickly
"it was Jungkook's fault that (Y/N) became more drained" Yoongi growls
"and why is it my fault?, what's done is done, put your stupid feelings aside" Jungkook snaps back and receives a punch from Yoongi
"you think Depression is a joke?!, let's see then, if I see (Y/N) dies because of depression, I'm not hesitating to cut the Min Family out from this gang" He said and I frown
"why would you do that hyung?, she's just our victim" I said
"you don't know what's it like to be depressed, you don't know what me and (Y/N) felt about being ignored and deserted, I know deep down that (Y/N) is just like me." He left and shuts the door loudly
"Yoongi has a point..., it was your fault, why did you shoot her aunt in the first place?, what's her name again?" I ask
"Lee Chaeyong" he said
"I don't remember her in one of our targets list, why did you kill an innocent woman?"
"she saw me killing her dad who is part of our list" He said lowly
"I was about to kill her, but then I look at the board list and saw her sched list, she planned to meet a kid today which has a picture attached beside it and that was when I realize that the kid of the picture was the daughter that was rumoured to be the kid that was abandoned by her father, he's our main target, she was about to escape and call for help so I had no choice but to kill her as well so our name will be cleared, and that was when a little girl saw me shooting her, I'm pretty sure she was scared for life, I knocked her out and clean the house so no one will find a clue about who's the person that killed the dou and returned her home by asking help from the neighbours, she was just living alone, one thing for sure I didn't know that it was (Y/N)..." he mutters when he mentions her name
"I feel so guilty, I swear hyung, my heart is aching so bad..., Why do we have to end up like this?, why does Father Sihyuk have to be sick?, why didn't he tell us he has a cancer before we got corrupted by (Y/N)'s Father?, why did me and (Y/N have to end up like this..?" Jungkook said
"you love her right?" I asks
"I don't know anymore hyung..., if I tell you I am, will everything change?, will she forgive me?, will she love me back?, I don't deserve her" he sulks and I pat his head
"let's just find out what happens next" I said and he sighs
"I hope so..."
"we all don't deserve this pain..."
