Jimin's cheeks flushed red. He quickly hid his face until he felt that it went away.

Y/N did not bother to look at him. She was awkward herself. He put the book down on the table.

"I can explain Jimin." Y/N told him.

"Are you pertaining to me?" Jimin waited for her response. He grew impatient. Y/N finally nodded.

"Yes."

Jimin slightly smiled but sighed. He doesn't know how to react. Is he going to be mad or flattered that a whole book was dedicated to him. "What if they knew that you are my wife? What if sasaengs knew about you?"

"They'll never know. I use a penname. 😎"

"I'm just worried. Namjoon knows your identity. 😡"

"It's because he has connections. He can easily just ask it to my publisher in a minute. 😂"

"What if other people with connections knows about you? 😤"

"Then they'll know about me and not us. I'm secretly registered as your wife anyway. 😑"

Jimin let out a breath of relief. Their marriage was held in a private area. The only guests were their parents and a few close relatives. Even the whole BTS wasn't invited. "I guess so."

"They'll know my identity only in name but they will never know that I'm the heir of the company and that I'm a professor at a school. 🤓"

"How about in social gatherings? Don't they recognize you? 🙄"

"No. I have my makeup artist that does my make-up for business gatherings specialize on making my features different. 😜"

"How about when you're teaching? 🤔"

"I do my own make-up during academe work. 😋"

"Don't they recognize you when you have a presscon for your books? 😕"

"I have my own make-up artist when I go to the publishing houses. I don't held presscons anyway. Being mysterious adds more suspense to my books. 😆"

Inside Jimin's head: This girl is impressive. She plans everything even in the littlest of details. Jimin likes a very cute and outgoing girl.

But Jimin loves a meticulous, brave and intelligent girl.

Jimin usually likes a cutesy girl just like his previous girlfriend but Y/N was different. Although physically, she was not his type but her personality makes an exception.

He felt something tugging at his heart.

"How about now? Why do you wear your makeup? 😏" Y/N did not realize what Jimin's response meant. Jimin just looked at her patiently hoping Y/N would get his reply. Jimin was obviously flirting with Y/N.

It took her a few more seconds before it finally sunked in her brain. "My make up?"

Y/N flirted back. "This is the makeup I will wear whenever I'm with my husband. I have to still look pretty enough for him 😏"

"Oh. 😏" Jimin laughed and looked at Y/N. He winked at her.

Y/N ruined the mood. She isn't ready for these things yet she has a conference that she'll attend tomorrow, "Just read Park Jimin. Once yoy got back, you cannot bring that with you. Sasaengs would have an eagle eye at it. Although, the sales of my books will boom, your reputation might be tested."

"Don't worry. I could easily download it. 😉"

"I didn't thought of that though. 🙁"

Inside Jimin's head: Does this girl really want me for real or is she just playing with me that she likes me? If I advanced at her and failed, I would look like an idiot. What if I advanced and my hunch was correct... what could possibly happen?

The atmosphere grew hotter between the two. Jimin advanced and was face to face with Y/N.

"Jimin. I'm not yet ready."

Jimin was right but Y/N will not give in, "I still have to make sure that what you feel for me is real. I don't want to be a rebound."

Jimin froze with her words: Maybe she was correct, Jimin thought and restrained himself even more.

"I guess so. I still have to assess my feelings."

"Good to hear. No hard feelings Jimin. It's not that I don't want you it's just that it would feel painful if you're thinking about someone else whenever you're with me." Y/N sighed in comfort. "What time are you going back to your room?"

"When I had enough of you." Jimin joked.

"That's not funny Jimin."

Jimin thought: We didn't even kissed in our wedding day. "Did you have past lovers?"

"Yes but I don't want to talk about it."

"Why?"

"Those are part of my past and I don't want to talk about it with you."

"I told you my past relationship. Why wouldn't you tell me yours?"

"Okay. I had a boyfriend once."

"And what happened?"

"He broke up with me because of a rich girl."

"What?"

"We met in the library. He approached me because I was a student assistant back then and was looking for some references for his assignment.

We dated and we helped each other. When his father died, he needed support.

His childhood friend helped him in his fees. The girl even gave him his college tuition so he had no choice himself.

Soon he learned to love her and left me for her.

I grew bitter with love and hated people who used people to get what they want. Love is toxic for me, that's what I thought. I held a grudge in my heart. Good thing, I listened to lots of BTS songs back then. It helped me got over him."

Inside Jimin's head: Your life is full of drama. I'm impressed you still had a grip on your life. "Did you two kissed?"
