chapter 4

"Luann come on snap out of it!" I shouted, still she didn't move.  I had to do something about it so I carefully walked back up to Lu and placed my hand on her arm she looks at me, I smile but her look is blank when she turns her head. "Sarah see if it's still out there" Grandma Rose ordered.  As I walk up to the door Lu grabs my arm, "Don't hurt her" I didn't stop I kept walking on. "She's still out there, should I give her some food so she'll leave? " I looked back at Grandma Rose.  "She doesn't want food" Lu said still standing in the Same spot.  "What do you mean, Luann?" Grandma Rose asked walking up to Lu.  Lu turns her head "She told me" she says with a smile.  Grandma Rose and I looked at each other.

"Lu how do you she told you that? " I asked confused.  How do I know what? " Lu replies with a smile.  "Know what she wanted? " I said looking at Grandma Rose. "Ara what on earth are you talking about? "Lu was confused as so was I. ( how  can someone just forget something that was just said a second ago?) "The dog,  Lu" I said Still she was confused, "what dog?, come on Ara quit playing now let's get to school before we are late" Lu replied happily then picks  up her bag and heads out the door. 

"Well come on slow poke" Lu calls back.

Walking to school was so awkward Lu sung and skipped around like nothing happened while I'm still lost about what happened. How is it that Grandma Rose and I know what happened but Lu doesn't. 

      "Good morning everyone! " Lu sung when we hit the halls.  "Is your friend okay?" Jessy asked walking up to me.  "I'm not sure" I replied taken my books from my locker.  "She's been liked this since we lift  home" We walked to homeroom together.

    "Miss. Lee thank you for the papers" Mr. Weight said as he waited for the rest of the class to settle in. "Oh it was nothing I replied back.

   A few minutes pass by, everyone is coming in one by one.  I'm just waiting for the bell to ring while goosebumps grow on my- ( shoot!)  " Mr. Weight I need to go to the office and call my grandmother" I ran up to his desk. He looks at the wall clock {7:49am}  "Go on Miss. Lee" I ran out the door and down the hall.  "No running Sarah" Mrs. Wink calls out as I run past her.  "Sorry! " I called back.  (Mrs. Wink is the P. E Teacher but we will get to her another time) 

   "Good Morning, I can I help you? " the woman at the front desk of the office asked as she typed on her keyboard.  " I need to call my grandmother" I replied leaning over the desk.  "I see and is it an emergency?, can't call if it isn't" Replied the woman still typing on the keyboard. "Yes" (is she going to let  use it or not)   

Seconds pass and I'm still waiting to see if I can make the call.  "Miss. Lee,  well hello how can I help you? " Principal Dino asked as he came out of his office.  "Hello principle Dinosaur just waiting to use the phone" I replied with a smile. ( I was always his favorite)   "Of course,  step into my office that way you can hear yourself" I nodded and let him lead the way but when I got up to the door I couldn't move.  ( what the hell, my arms have more goosebumps then a dog has fur. Something is wrong!) " Miss. Lee is everything okay? " Principal Dino asked as I stood in place. Shaking my head I replied "yes sir, sorry daydreaming"

"HaHa yes I've had those,  well come on the phone is next to the window" I nod and walked in. 

As soon as I was in his office I could smell Cherry cream.  (No wonder Kor'ana was here!)  "Oh hello Sarah how are you? " Kor'ana asked with a smirk. I rolled my eyes  and replied "Good" then I walked up to the phone as she placed her feet on Principal Dino's desk (Rude)

"Kor'ana feet down!" Principal Dino ordered I giggled as I dailed my home number.  "Sorry uncle" Kor'ana replies (Uncle!)

" Is she still there? " Grandma Rose asked after I told her what was going on and that Kor'ana was in the office with me.  (How did I miss that Kor'ana is related to Principal Dino's niece)  "Yeah" I replied back.  The phone went silent for a moment.

      "Okay this what I want you to do" Grandma Rose started.  I looked around to make sure Kor'ana or Principal Dino couldn't hear. "Make friends with" Grandma Rose said.  "No way! " I yelled.  I looked around (Loud mouth)  Principal Dino smiles as I look around again I smile back.  "Come on dear, we have to see who she is and to do that you need to make friends with her" Grandma Rose said softly. "Okay fine but I'm done after we find out" I replied back softly.  I hung up the phone and thanked Principal Dino and headed out the door.

  The bell rung and everyone was heading to their fourth period classes. Some went to  Mrs. Tye's study hall as the rest of us went to Mrs. Wink's P. E class.  ( Blue River is a small school) 

I ran to catch up with Abby and Zena ( Miss. Evelyn's granddaughters)  "Hey Sarah!" Zena said scaring her sister. Abby turns around and sees me standing there.  "Oh hello Sarah, how is Grandma Rose doing?" She says with a smile.  (Abby and Zena are Twins they don't look a like but they do everything together. Lu and I use to be friends with them until Karlee Law  came and now its just Lu and I just like it should be) "She's good" I replied back. "Oh great Grandmother said they had a tea party" Abby says twirling her hair with her fingers.  "Yeah I remember Miss.Evelyn telling me" I replied and walked in with the rest of the class.
