Korean

She left the restaurant after taking her fill of dinner. Earlier she wanted to dig out the waitress' number so bad. She wanted to rope her in towards Twilight Agency and show her new founded 'bone' to her master which is the CEO.

She even thought about how she would be promoted in the future.

As much as she can remember 'Eris' was a highly sought super model in the fashion industry. It was even mentioned a couple of times of how her face would be hanged up on billboards of different luxurious brands worldwide.

She was the sole reason why her tiny agency immediately was brought into the limelight and soared up into the rankings.

That's when a thought hit her head. 'If I bring her into Twilight Agency, wouldn't her previous company continue going down the drain without her? Is this considered stealing?'

Although she was a little guilty about this but that was not the reason why she hesitated. There was a bigger problem if she did that, she would change the flow of the original novel.

'Ah, whatever I'll just try be friends with her. It's not like everyday you have a supermodel as a friend.'

And in that exact moment began the story of two starlights that became friends.

After having a casual conversation with the waitress, she found out that her name was Song Ae-Ri and that she was a korean. After much talking with her labeled already 'friend', Lia decided not to interfere with Ae-ri's fate in the novel.

As far as she could remember, Ae-ri has a side story herself and she had a love interest too. Too bad she wasn't able to read that far much into the novel.

'It's better not to interfere too much, I, myself already is a bug here. It's better to not grow a watermelon sized head here.'

She sipped her drink while thinking inside her head and while also listening to her newfound 'friend'. It's called multitasking.

After hearing Ae-ri was a korean, Lia was surprised inside. She knew that Eris was asian but she didn't know she was a korean. She even thought she was chinese just like her. So with that Lia talked to Ae-Ri in fluent korean. Ae-Ri gave a shocked face and asked in korean back.

"Are you korean too?"

Ae-Ri has a tinge of flush of excitement on her face upon learning someone talked to her in her native language in this foreign city.

But Lia shook her head "No, I'm chinese but I was raised here." She turned her head and gave a smile to Ae-ri.

Ae-ri gave a slight "oh" with a tinge of disappointment but it immediately changed into amazement.

"You're not? But you're really good at korean." She was still deeply submerged in their conversation that she consciously and still spoke to Lia in korean.

Lia slightly smiled.

"I was interested in korean, that's why I learned it, because why not?" Lia said in fluent korean while eating the last piece of her burger.

"Ahh, that's why." Ae-ri was obviously swayed by Lia's amazing charisma that she automatically sat down in front of Lia without her being hesitant by her action by meeting a person she barely knows.

That's another perk of Lia.

Ae-ri casted a hesitant glance at Lia and finally said what she wanted to say.

"You know, I really like you. I've been in this City for a long time without ever meeting someone I could talk to in korean. I almost forgot how to speak my language."

She gripped the tray in front of her chest.

Lia just looked at her with her friendly 'harmless' smile.

'3....2.....1'

"So, can you be my friend?"

Ae-ri asked Lia while looking at her expectantly.

Lia grinned and put her juice that she was still sipping quite some time now.

"Why, of course, I'd be 'very much' delighted."

'And another plan success.' Lia grinned while they exchange numbers.

Somehow, Lia was 'very much' delighted to find a friend here in this big city she was still not quite familiar with.

After waving goodbye to her newfound friend and exiting the resto, Lia breath in the cold air while walking back home in the streets of the city.

"Wow, I can't believe I have a celebrity friend. I really am great. Ahhh, my narcissism is swelling up again."

Lia muttered to herself while shaking her head, a creepy proud smile hanging on her pretty face.
