The Boss is Filthy Rich

Inside the conference room..

"Annie" Ms. Ivy called unto Annie while casually flipping a contract on her left and a laptop on her right. Since there are only three of them, their work was doubled because of the lack of staffs and personnel. So for now, Ms. Ivy is the one collecting the minutes of the meeting and a report to be send to the boss since she doesn't have an assistant...yet.

"You'll be the one in charge of Jason from now on. Take good care of your first artist." Ms. Ivy stated the matter to Annie.

Annie replied "Yes, of course Ms. Ivy. I'll meet him later."

Ms. Ivy nodded before glancing towards Lia, her gaze lingering for a second before saying "Julia, as per the Boss's order... you stick to the newbie's side and become his assistant."

"Okay" Lia, at first, was suspiciously shocked at the Boss's order for her. She did get it, that she will become an assistant in training under Annie's management... but there is something off. Something she couldn't put her finger off.

Lia was still mulling over this when Ivy moved on to another agenda.

"Also, Lucien will be coming here in two weeks." Ivy said while looking at Annie.

"Ah, yes, he did mentioned it to me earlier." Annie replied whilst Lia on the other side was feeling quite out of place but she did try to catch up to what they were saying.

"By then, Boss said to 'get everything tidied up' before Lucien and his team comes here." Ivy stated whilst having a scrunch on her eyebrow, probably expecting a lot of work to fall on their shoulders.

Since Lia is still new to the agency, most of the work will be done by these two. Even if Lia would want to help them, she herself is helpless on a field she doesn't know quite well.

She only helps Annie with some papers that she knew what to do with, easing up Annie's work by half.

'Ms. Ivy sure is amazing, she handles the company quite well when the Boss is absent.' Lia thought while walking down to their office. The meeting finished off earlier at 9:30 with them talking about certain producers and directors, business partners to be contacted. And they agreed that Annie will be the one talking to them.

Lia slumped unto her desk full of papers now since Ms. Ivy gave her multiple job while Annie is away.

"You're going already?" Lia asked Annie who's packing her bag.

"Yeah, I need to meet those clients now one by one. Also, I need to finalize those trainors that will be training Jason." Annie picked up her bag and slung it up on her shoulder together with bundle of contracts ready to be signed on her hands.

"Well, I'll be going now. See you later at 5pm!" Annie dropped her statement before she got out of the office descending down the elevator to meet those clients and employee-to-be that she spoke off.

Lia had a hunch that half of the people Annie will be meeting will be people that will work here, in charge of training the artists.

'If that is so, they really are quick and fast-paced in terms of working. As much as I know, people who trained artists in Twilight are such high-caliber people that has awesome backgrounds. And mostly those types of people will be surely hard to rope in. But Annie did....in just a matter of a few days.'

While her job right now was taking care of papers and files, Annie's work is on the field. Her's was more exhausting, jumping off to another meeting and to another to meet certain people.

While Lia was thinking about these things, her hands were already working it's way up to the computer keyboard writing some reports to be made. While on her other side are contracts that still needs to be reviewed. On the other she still have more emails to be sent to certain people while files to be sent to the other. She also need to review the schedule of Jason and edit some parts when Annie calls her later for some new arrangement.

While it may seem that she many work to do, single-handedly, Lia was not at all fazed. She even has time to think about other things while working.

She estimated herself that these will be done before lunch. After that, she'll come upstairs to Ms. Ivy's office to get some more work and tasks to be done.

By now, Lia was enjoying a cup of iced coffee paired with a subway sandwhich at a cafe at the front of their building. Yes, building.

When Lia first came here, Twilight only occupied two floors at most. That was the floor where Lia's, Annie's and Ms. Ivy's offices now lies.

However, now, Twilight occupied the whole entire building. Although, the building may look old-fashioned and may look run down, it was still run and about when the engineer came here to inspect.

The inside of the building now looks very new and modernly styled by various Architects and Interior Designers. With how the inside was styled, it has a very bachelor type of design unto it.

Well, Lia had a hunch that probably the Boss already owns this property and rented it to other enterprises, explaining the offices occupying other floors when she first came here.

Just a few hints here and there, Lia was able to come up with one fact.

"The Boss is extremely rich." She said while looking at the direction of the now newly furnished building of Twilight Agency. It was painted matte-black on the outside with newly replaced glass windows. A 16th floored building looking like that, would make a person think a rich conglomerate owns that building.

Standing at the top of that building was Twilight's logo, painted in gold, a huge contrast to its black coating.

The logo was a half circle that almost looks like a crescent thats facing downwards with a sun peeking with its four rays at the curve. Very much like Twilight.
