This Aunt Here Will Help You

"Hey" Lia patted the person's shoulder with a light tap. The young man flinched a little upon sensing the touch on his shoulder.

He turned around only to be faced with the ever-sunny smile of Lia greeting him.

"Good morning! Aren't you Jason Lu?" Lia started a conversation to this now recruited artist of the company.

From the moment she first saw him, she wanted to choke the fangirl who lied facefront to the whole social media. Saying as how extremely popular and handsome this guy was during their campus days.

Obviously its either she wants attention or its the wrong guy she was babbling and boasting about.

'That girl.... Hmp! She just makes sure she doesn't appear online, saying some nonsense again.' Although that girl only appeared once and was given one sentence in the novel, Lia was already forming a plan when she sees that fangirl making the same post that put her mind high on clouds only to be dropped on the mud.

She was slightly angry that she had her hopes high up but she can't be too judgemental. He was extremely different from what she read in the book so obviously she didn't expect he is like this in the past.

'And besides, I'm still getting the hang on meeting the characters in the novel in person.'

"H-hi...hm I'm Jason Lu. Nice to meet you." The young man named Jason started of with a stutter obviously acting very timid and shy. He nodded slightly to Lia in a rather awkward manner.

While he was doing his greeting, Lia assessed his every move. Although she did say she can't be judgemental, she already scanned him like a QR code in a scanner.

'He's quite timid, kind of introverted, obviously not a social person but he's polite. Yup, totally that of a university kid in college.'

Meanwhile Jason was a little uncomfortable after greeting Lia, his eyes darting here and there.

"W-why is she staring at me? Is there something wrong? I've never talked to beautiful people before. Wait, what? E-ehem...b-but did I do something wrong?' Jason thought while checking his clothes. Inspecting if there was something stuck on his clothes or maybe his face, worrying about his first impressions and all.

Lia broke off from her 'inspection' and cut him back from his distress.

"I didn't know we're of the same neighborhood. I didn't expect to meet-and-greet with the future A-List Actor here. I'm honored." Lia said jokingly, obviously dropping some hints there. But she didn't mind, because she knows clearly from his attitude, he will deny it. And probably he won't remember this conversation in the future anyway.

Jason blushed upon the remark and scratched his head embarassingly. He threw a glance at her before reluctantly saying "I-im n-not. I don't even know why you all chose me as an artist in the first place."

He murmured the last sentence in a low voice but Lia heard it very distinctly. 'Don't worry kiddo, this aunt right here will help you with everything she can do. I will make sure you become that Nation's Boyfriend that we all know.'

Even though, she's in the body of 24 year old woman, she was talking to a college student aged 22 like she's some sort of a 'real aunt' who have a large age gap. Instead of stressing over her youth like some other women would do worrying about their age but looking like a porcelain doll still, here she is directly pointing the dagger at her heart saying that she's old when in fact she's still young in her early 20's.

"Hmmm" Lia just hummed as a reply. She pretended to not have heard his last sentence and replied mysteriously. She didn't encourage him like all some heroines would do. Oh, but darling she's not a heroine. Right now she just stated her position as a 'system bug'. And she does in fact quite like her occupation in this novel.

Instead of freaking out, well she did, but at the same time she was fascinated that she's inside this world from the novel.

However, a few days ago, she didn't dare joke on her life so easily. After witnessing someone in a small car accident in front of her, she realized that this world isn't just a mere illusion nor a fantastical dream she ventured into. People can get hurt....so does she.

She also took an important note and that is 'To value my life here. I will do my best to live long and die in old age.'

On the way to the company, Lia continued the conversation and even sat beside him. Instead of being uncomfortable, Jason got a long with Lia well, doesn't seem to mind the fact that they just met earlier. If it was some other people, he would have viewed them as a creep.

Well, that is one of Lia's perk and years of training in the business field had honed her to the finest.

The way to the company was extremely smooth sailing and comfortable, with Lia uncessant talking and keeping the flow of conversation going. Trying to ease the tension between them to make Jason view her as a trusted colleague and friend.

'Damn, I have two celebrity friends now. In the future, if I ever run out of money, I'll just sell there autographs for a high fetch.'
