Last time I saw Mason was at my mom's funeral. Which was like two years ago. We were fourteen then. I couldn't stand how everyone said they felt sorry for me, but I knew it was just out of pity.
I looked at the clock. It was two thirty.
'Holy crap' I thought I have to meet him in thirty minutes
We still kept in touch but we didn't talk much.
'I should text him. Maybe torment him a little.' I thought. And just when I thought of it my phone dinged.
It read, 'Hi, Princess.' I knew that he would be the first to torment.
'What do u want and don't calle that.'
'Call u what... Princess.'
'I figure you're not so happy about today either huh'
I teased him for about a minute.
'Where are you right now though?'
'Funny you ask, Princess'
'I'm right out side your front lawn.'
"Oh no." I said jumping off my bed to look out the window in the hallway.
There he was waving at me.
"Hanna!" I heard my dad calling from downstairs.
I walked towards the door to see my dad hugging Charlie, Mason's dad.
"Uncle Charles." I said sarcastically.
"Hanna. Oh my god you have grown a lot. Look at you!" he said looking at me up and down.
"Princess." I heard a deep voice and jumped a little bit just to see Mason walking towards me.
Oh my god he grew a lot. Like a lot a lot. He looked a little... hot.
'Oh my god. Did I just think Mason was hot for a second?' I freaked out for a minute. I was just standing there blank minded.
"What no insults this time?" he said teasingly.
"Well I would have made am insult if there were no insults to describe your stupidity." I answered.
"Now be nice both of you." Charlie did patting Mason's shoulder.
"Hmm." Mason hummed.
"What?" I asked with a bit of an attitude.
"That's my room up there."
"Bro
No. That's right next to my room." I whined.
"Dude!" I whisper shouted.
"Hahahah! I don't like the idea either, Princess." He said walking right behind me.
"How many times do I have to say it. Don't call me that." I growled.
We all were sitting at the table now. We all were talking about how we have been and what it's been like the past two years.
"So how's Lauren." my dad said to Charlie.
"She's fine. She had an important meeting today so she'll be here tomorrow." Charlie said looking at Mason. When Mason realized his dad was looking at him he let out at silent sigh.
"Oh shoot it's three o'clock."m I said looking down at my phone.
"Well then we better get going princess." Mason said grabbing my arm.
"Where do you think you're dragging me?" I said as we stepped outside of the house.
"To the car of course." he said with a scoff.
I pulled my hand back and he looked ate with a cocked eyebrow.
"Wait. I left my phone on the counter." I said heading back to the house.
"I'll come with you. " he said walking behind me.
I grabbed my phone and said, "Oh. Wait in going to get my wallet." I said running up the stairs. I heard dad and Charlie laughing.
I went t9 go get my wallet of my bed when I heard Mason's voice.
"What happened to all the pink?" he laughed.
"I don't know I guess I stopped liking pink." I said walking his way. "You've changed a Lot." he said sarcastically. But at the same time he sounded a little surprised.
"Let's go." I said walking past him.
"Wait why ate there two cars?" I asked looking at up at him.
"Be cause one of them is mine, Princess.
