It's going great!

With nothing else but the beta program in mind, I fail to see what actually happened all day, thus, Monday came in a breeze. I thought I could formulate a plan at this time but I couldn't. I didn't even know the storyline of the new region of the game. The given explanation was very vague and all I could ever think of is how to keep my party alive.

I did some scans and redid my notes on the game's rules. "As long as we use these to our advantage, things will go smoothly." I tucked the notebook into my pocket and left for Bemus. I guess it was time to be alone again. I guess I really had adjusted after my mother had passed.

I sat on the swing, the other broken, and began to think deeply. "If only you were here mother." It would've been us against the world. The weather was getting chilly and a gust of wind blew. "Later, at 1500 hours, the game of life and death begins once more."

There was more to it than just an extension of the beta, it was a whole new region. Probably a new server ground with different settings to ensure new accounts in it don't get accustomed so easily. Either that or a game renovation. One way or another, there will be some changes in the mappings and features. Since its a beta map, there should be glitches somewhere we could exploit.

The story of a new land, a new region, will be very exciting to the full game. It could mean new beasts and terrains. This isn't good news for us because our lives are on the line. Either way, we'll be stuck inside this program until someone, if not us, beats it. Whoever is behind this must be stopped, and starting with this program, we'll fight back.

I get up and walk over to the nearby tree where i had burried my mother. I payed my respects and left, knowing nothing of the outcome my party would create in such a situation. Worrying about what might occur, and trying to clear my head, I begin to walk home and strategize our approach, hoping for some idea to come up spontaneously, and trying to connect dots with people involved.

Arriving at home, the program notified me of the time remaining before it began. I opened the beta server and immersed myself five minutes before the deadline.

"Took you long enough." Claire says, sitting down on the ground.

"Had to pay mother a visit. Bemus park wasn't so good to me either."

"I see. Okay then, let's begin to check things before the storyline begins. I guess the outcome or situation will differ and create a diffrent background as well as in-game status and skill sets."

Claire thinks well. For a girl, she analizes things very well and can come up with simple conclusions spontsneously. Guess this is why she's the club leader.

Five minutes didn't take too long and soon we all began to appear in the program. The team was assembled and the storyline plot began to play through.

"Once, some distance from the Farland Empire, there was the land of Sol. In this land, there ruled king Ganith, and for decades, the land was at peace. But just like any other peaceful time, someone in the crowd sought to overthrow the king and rule the land. This man was named 'Pyras' for his ability to wield fire magic. No one knows his true motives and no one knew of his schemes until 5 years later."

"He openly declared war on king Ganith and his followers emerged from the crowds surrounding the castle, fire bursting in enormous flames where they stood. Together, they burnt the castle to ashes and the flames rose to the skies. The pillar of fire engulfed the entire castle grounds and the inner walls as well. The damage dealt by the fire was devastating."

"But their victory was short-lived. As they celebrated, the pillar of fire suddenly burst and a blue flame floated in its place, a flame held by the king. His body was bloodied and his skin was burnt but he stood and held a fire no one else could hold-a star's flame. Out of the flame came smaller flames that engulfed Pyras' followers and soon, all that was left was Pyras himself and the king. Face to face, they stood on what should have been the remains of the castle."

"Both Pyras and Ganith released the seals that held their powers back and a powerful clash resonated. The two wrere on par with each other, each one getting more powerful than before. As the last of the seals on Pyras was undone, his power rose tenfold then a hundredfold. He unleahsed his aura and a deafening roar was heard. Pyras summoned his contractor-fire demon Pagan. Ganith withstood this aura and took a blow from Pagan, slamming him onto the ground with the aura suppressing him. The gravity there felt so heavy, even steel bent, but Ganith didn't relent and caught the fist of the demon the second time before opening hus final seals."

"Also summoning his contractors, having been the only human to have three contractors in his lifetime, out came the StarLion, the Grand Watcher and Grand Spellcaster. He was going to sacrifice his life force to deal a final blow on Pyras."

"Seeing the situation's sudden change, Pagan became agitated and raged on, slamming his fists at Ganith's chest. Ganith however, continued to cast his spell. The StarLion would have to be the flame that keeps Pyras' prison together and the Grand Watcher would be that prison. The Grand Spellcaster would also have to cast his spell and, using the remaining life force in Ganith's body, unleash a full attack, sealing Pyras in place until the fire burns out."

"Pagan tried to stop this but the spell was fibally cast and Ganuth stood up from where he was beaten down. He pinned Pyras down in an instant and cast his final spell-Instant God Prison. The Grand Spellcaster aimed his staff at Pyras and a beam of light shot out, engulfing Pyras and Ganith. This is where Ganith took his final breath and soon another castle was built above the ashes of the old one. Before he died, he whispered his dying message to the wind so that all may hear it."

"With the fall of a new king comes a new one and the past will be taken over by the future. But not one rule will last long and destiny will once again bring a new king to rise above the old. This king will be the next StarLion Prince and shall have the power of something far exceeding mine own."

"Today, 509 years from Ganith's death, emerged another generation ready to fight for the kingdom's freedom and end Pyras once and for all. Will you be that king?"

Afterwards, a dialogue box emerged and the story came to a stop.

[Yes] [No]

I shook my head and selected no. Today is going to be a long day.
