Chapter 29 - Language assimilation and the Grand plan.

The old lady placed herself fore to his face and stretched out both her white pale arms towards him and uttered a few words in that bizarre script.

From her hands, a light green stream of particles started releasing in microscopic amounts, that thin stream of particles touched Bilal's forehead and submerged right into it.

Even though he wanted to resist this action as it really seemed dangerous now with the particles, yet quite unfavorably he could move his body neither could he speak, in this condition moving his entire body could only be seen as a dream.

Other than watching in horror and enduring whatever is coming, he can't even do anything. Seeing more and more particles getting infused into his forehead his fear began building more and more. Due to the Intense fear, his veins began bulging and his pupils contracted.

"....just accept it mortal…it won't cause any harm…tell your second spirit not to hinder it."

A familiar and dreadful voice echoed into his mind, it was the voice of that fiend owl.

[Energy waves reached receiver Neurons]

[Nullify Energy Waves? Y/N]

The notification appeared yet again, somehow truth could be felt in the voice. Believing that the System could take care of the problem he prompted the System with a 'No'.

A white screen flashed in his eyes and the room just disappeared into oblivion.

"Where the hell am I this time..!?" Bilal blurted out and looked around everywhere, but he couldn't find anything else but white space.

The landscape was insanely similar to the Module's space, but there was no one else besides him.

Suddenly a deep and hoarse voice was heard from up above.

" *'-) /=*)? $? $' @#$1=*=')/ "

It was the same incomprehensible language those people were talking in. Before he could even find out what's going on, abruptly he found himself being surrounded by film-like frame projections, inside those frames were intricate drawings and sigils that very optedly seemed familiar to the jar from which that Owl escaped.

Those paper-thin projections started rotating around with him as an axis. Though slow at the beginning they started gaining speed with each rotation.

With a curious gaze, Bilal started at one of the projections and without any reason, his mouth automatically started blabbering not stop. The frame turned itself and vanished into little transparent sparks, while a strange feeling swept into him at the same time.

He opened his eyes wide open and glared deeply at those moving frames, the frames kept vanishing consequently and his head kept getting heavy with that strange feeling.

All the frames disappeared within moments, bringing him back to the wooden house.

[Data infused into Brain]

[Convert new data into Module format? Y/N]

"...data? what data!?" in confusion Bilal asked the System.

Just then a heavy blow was felt in his head, taking a good glance around the room, he found all three of them looking at him anxiously.

Breaking the silence between them, the muscular man stepped forward and said

"Venerable priest, I hope you can now understand our words…"

Shocked by the sudden change, Bilal looked at him amazedly and tried to answer, yet could only nod due to his poor condition as he is unable to speak.

"Venerable priest, please relax we will talk later on, till then Yothen would be responsible for your care." The muscular man slightly smiled and directed his right hand towards the mustached man standing in the corner.

"And lastly my name is Sao, everyone here calls me Chief Sao or Chieftain, the Elder here is Eril she is the Shaman of our tribe, she doesn't speak much and lastly Yothen, he is her disciple he would be the one to inherit all her skills."

Sao said those things and left along with Elder Eril, leaving Yothen with him for the recovery.

Seeing both of them taking the departing, Yothen immediately approached him with a clay bowl in his hands, it was filled with a dark green oil-like extract with a strong medicinal odor.

"Venerable priest, please drink this Caracolam extract, it would heal your wounds quickly and restore your condition"

Observing the respectable and somewhat fearful behavior of these people, Bilal could conclude that they must've mistaken him for some priest. But whatever that is he was somehow able to certain they won't dare to harm him even in the slightest.

With his nod that Yothen fella came forward and helped him drink with his own hands, slowly Bilal couldn't even lift his hand.

"Drink it slowly…ah..there you go.."

"...relax on the bed and I will be here every 2 hours…"

Yothen left through the door as well, leaving him alone in the wooden chamber since it couldn't be called a house as no windows or roof supports could be observed from the inside. It resembled more to be a hidden underground dungeon room often seen in movies and TV shows, besides some basic wooden furniture and some spooky candle holders, there was nothing else in the room, it was completely desolate.

Since there was nothing to look at Bilal unknowingly dozed off to sleep due to overexertion and lack of sleep.

Location: Unknown

Somewhere around a bonfire stood several people donned in long cloaks with hoods effectively masking their identities, everyone there seemed to be in pairs wearing the same colored robes as their partner, peeking at the burning amber of the bonfire they seem very anxious and nervous. Amongst them, Chieftain Sao and Shaman Eril could also be seen.

Some were wearing white bone necklaces, some held wooden staves in their hands, while some were adorned in gold accessories, even though everyone looked different all of them had the same expression of fear and anger.

Soon, rapidly and stealthy treading sounds started occurring from the distance, everyone around the bonfire gazed at that sound direction and spotted a light green flash approaching their directions, some of them mumbled.

"He's here"

"...he has mastered Green Wind light already, Shaman Eril you should be proud.."

"I hope he's successful, else I would have to escape from here quickly."

While those people continued into blabber into random topics, completely forgetting the previous seriousness, the Chieftain wasn't joyful of this situation but eventually, he too got somewhat relaxed after observing the green light carefully.

The green light flashed and dispersed into the surroundings, Yothen walked out from the green light and presented himself in front of the crowd on one kneel.

"Respectable Shamans and Chieftains of the 15 high tribes, I'm the disciple of Shaman Eril and I have been joyous to announce I've succeeded in completing the task."

It seemed all they ever wanted was just to hear this sentence, as they sighed in relief and resumed discussing the matters.

The Elder Eril went ahead and coughed lightly bringing the attention to her

" Now that the Hero's legatee has no memories of his own, we can just program him how we want"

The clear crisp voice reached into everyone's ears and like a commandment, everyone subconsciously confirmed it as a fact.

A purple-robed hooded figure stepped up from the crowd and with a muffled voice asked Eril

"He's just a legatee it'll take time to grow him into a powerful chess piece, I've heard you found many interesting things in the Light Hero's ruins, what do you plan to do with those things?"

Presumably high in status, everyone started looking at Eril with almost the same expression in their eyes greed could be seen flashing.

Having dealt with this kind of people all her life, she didn't panic even a bit and firmly answered the purple hooded figure

"Only the Hero's jar of illumination has been obtained which too is broken into many pieces, no other equipment tome or any sort of belonging has been found, and as for the objects found on the legatee, we've left it as it is with him as no Magic fluctuations could be felt from them"

The purple hooded figure yet asked "I've heard a stone altar was also present there that had carvings on it, there must be some spell formations on it, it must be a valuable material to study"

"The stone altar hasn't even been touched and I have reported this to the Tribunal already, they may send someone to investigate at that location."

"I'll make Investigation team arrive there as early as possible and even though I don't have to say this but, don't let the Empire know his existence and do not let him access the legacy yet"

Saying this the purple hooded figure, started walking in the opposite and vanished into a purple fog, vanishing from the crowd.

"Does anyone have any questions?" Eril inquired the crowd, yet no other questions were asked.
