Chapter 2 : Dreams

"Why?"

The young man stares at the blue sky. His thoughts are wandering at the previous event.

"Mommy. Daddy. Can I talk to you about something?"

"Yes dear. What is it? You can tell us." Seeing his mom replying with a lovely smile make it's difficult to tell them. But he has made decisions to tell them after thinking it real hard days and night. His eyes have become like a panda because of lack of sleep.

Thinking makes him hard to sleep. That is why he hates thinking too much. It's not his specialties. He watches cartoons than wasting his time in thinking much. But it's about his future. He takes a deep breath.

"I want to study music". His pair of pretty eyes stares straight to this parents. Hoping and waiting for their reply. His parents shock and look at each other before smiling and told him.

"It's okay. You can do it. You may do whatever you want as long as you are happy". The mother has a soft heart towards his son.

"But you need to make sure that you won't do anything appropriate. Okay?" The father is strict towards his son. For him, let the mother be the soft side and he will be hard towards his son. As long as his son become a 'human' not ' an animal with a skin of human'.

"Okay, I'll be good. No worries. It's easy". His eyes are glimmered from happiness and he winked his one eyes toward his parents. They are laughing watching their son behavior.

"So, what is your high school choice then?" The mother asked his son.

His son suddenly freezes and looks at his feet while biting his nails. "It's MMAA". His forehead is sweating and he begins to bite his finger till it hurts because of his nervousness.

"WHAT? But darling. It's too expensive. The fees are extremely our out of each. It's full of rich people in there. We are not that rich. We can't afford it." His mother saddened eyes make him feel miserable.

"Sorry Taehyung. Can't you choose other school that we can afford?" His father's ask on behalf of his wife.

"I-I-I'll think about it". He stops biting and stands up and go to his rooms upstairs. He had very sad eyes. It could clearly be seen. His parents could only watch his sad face quietly as they know that they could not do anything to help their precious only son.

Taehyung lie down on his bed and stared at the ceiling with deep thoughts. Then suddenly, he started to ruffle his hair. His thoughts are in messy states. It's hard for him to make decisions. Whether he decide to pursue his dreams or just forget it.

He could decide to pursue music while attending other school. But it's hard to transfer from one music academy to another one. He knows it's such a slim chance for him to enter his school choices.

MMAA. Magical Music Art Academy. The best school to pursue his dream. It's not like other magic music school are not competent enough. It's just that school have the best teaching, environment and everything needed for people who loves music there.

'I know that mommy and daddy are not able to send me there. But'. He frown his brows while thinking that. He does not able to settle his heart. 'I should convince them again. Maybe they would let me and can find other way for me to enter that place'. His lips perk up for a little.

Taehyung get up and started to walk towards the living room to talk again with his mommy and daddy.

"Honey. Can't we find a way for our Taehyung to go there?". Taehyung steps stop as he heard his mommy voice. He walks silently towards the living room to hear more.

"But dear. It's too much. I also want him to let him go there as he wishes. B-But I can't afford it".

"He is our only son. I don't want him to feel disappointed. I really love him. He never asked us anything. This is his first time asking something for us". The sadness in her eyes looks the same as his son eyes. After all, Taehyung inherit his mom's eyes.

"Okay dear, I'll try to look if I could make some loan or ask anyone about it. Don't worry. I'll try my best". The father rubs his wife cheeks to calm her down. They both really love their son. Taehyung are their only treasure that they won't bear to hurt.

Taehyung clench his hand and take a deep breath. After calming himself, he walks into the living room and said "Mommy, Daddy. I have decided".

With a sweet smile, he said "I am not going there. I'll go to a regular high school".

"But son"

"It's okay daddy. I could still pursue music in the future. It's just this is not a right time". He smile once again try to not worry his parents.

"Okay, if that is what you want".

"Okay mommy. Umm.. I want to go outside for a bit. I want to go running. See you later".

Taehyung left running. He's running non-stop and decides to take a break at the park. He lies down on the green grass and look up the sky.

'It's okay. Everything is going to be okay. It's not the end of the world for not attending MMAA'. He wipes away his desire to attend MMAA and went home.
