The Rain

What is this I'm feeling? My heart is pounding like it wants to get out of chest. Am I really liking this girl?

"I hope it rains. Do you think it will rain tonight?"

"I don't think so. The sky is clear and the stars are brightly shinning. There are no clouds."

"Huh. Then I hope it rains tomorrow."

"I hate the rain."

The butler interrupted their conversation.

"Little Miss, I think it's time to go."

"She said she wanted to stay a little longer. I can take care of her."

"I am afraid that it is impecable to have her back to the mansion and rest at this time."

"Why do you need to be on her side all the time and restrict her with the things that she wanted to do?"

"This does not concern you Mr. Chen."

"That's enough Bastille. It was nice talking to you Rui. I hope you would not forget our contract."

Why does it have to be so complicated. And I thought that if you have everything, life can be so boring and yet this girl has everything, changes things the way she wanted but still restricted because of what she has.

"Hey, Lewis were are you? Are you still messing around with those guards?"

"Pretty much, but they are no fun. They wouldn't even dance with me. Come here at the pub, now! There are a lot girls I would like for you to meet."

"Whatever."

He drove to get to the pub and notice that it is starting to rain. Well what do you know. The girl is good with weather forecast. This rain is getting strong, I better get to the pub quick.

Out of nowhere someone crossed the road. Luckily Rui was able to stop his car before hitting the person. He got out of the car and notice the person fainted. He was shock to know that it was Maia!

What in the world? How can she even got out of Bastille's guard?

And again, just like a knight in shinning armor, Rui saved Maia. He drove to his mansion and called doctors to check on her.

"She is pretty much stable, though she has a fever. She she be alright as long as she takes her medication."

"Thanks doc."

Rui stared at the sleeping lady on his bed. There is that feeling again, his heart is pounding as if it is going to burst our of his chest. Maia's lips are redder than the usual. Maybe because of the fever. He slowly leaned down on her. But just as he was about to kiss her, Lewis came rushing at the door.

"You pervert!"

"What the hell man! Don't you know how to knock?"

"Hahaha! The look on your face! You freaking virgin!"

"Shutup!"
