EPISODE 1: Lost the Death Watch
It is true that we cannot stop time & one's early written faith. Oh! I forgot to introduce myself!
Hi! myself the Grim Reaper, yes you heard it, right, I am the most handsome & charismatic soul taker. As I told earlier everybody's faith is different mine was also different from other Grim Reapers. Oh! my death watch is alarming its time to take a soul to the Soul Court.
Location: Pusan National University Hospital, South Korea.
Grim Reaper: Hmm, I am 5 mins earlier than the actual time of taking the soul. Anyway, it is ok I can complete my task at the perfect timing as usual.
(Suddenly the environment of the hospital corridor has been changed within a fraction of seconds & a nurse comes out of a room in a rush.)
Nurse: Doc.Kim! Doc.Kim! Come fast...
Doc.Kim: What's the problem here?
Nurse: Doc the health of the patient in room no.1005 has been going worse as the time passes on. Till today morning his condition was pretty stable & he was responding to all of our medicines. But now...
Doc.Kim: But what... Tell me faster!
Nurse: We also don't know what's happening Doc.
Grim Reaper: Yes! It's time for my job to be done. Let's go...
(Doctor & nurse rushes to the room where the patient is lying & Grim Reaper follows them in a relaxed manner.)
Doc.Kim: Nurse why didn't you informed me earlier.
Nurse: I kept searching for you but I was not able to find you.
Doc.Kim: Now I can't help him. His condition is too worse than I thought. Please call his family & tell them to see him for the last time it's all we can do now.
Nurse: But doc how? this patient has 2 small kids who even reached a proper position & his wife has been here from when he was admitted here without eating or sleeping.
Doc.Kim: What can we do? This is how nature works.
(Nurse goes outside the room & informs the family of the patient. His 2 kids & wife enters the room with tears in their eyes to take a last look of the children brave dad & the woman's lovable husband.)
Doc.Kim: Nurse please remove the patient's mask.
Nurse: Ok doc.
Doc.Kim: Nurse now let's move out they will have to talk.
(Doc. Kim & nurse moves out & Grim Reaper takes a seat at the left side of the patient & his family takes a seat at the right side of the patient. Seeing the patient & his family Grim Reaper uses his powers to give the patient the ability to talk for the last time to his family.)
Patient: Am sorry for leaving you & our kids in this way & I failed in the promise which I gave you on our wedding day that I will protect you throughout your whole life.
Wife: Honey, don't say like this you will live with us for many more years you will be fine.
Patient: I have kept some savings for you & our kids for their future.
Older kid: Mom why is dad crying?
Patient: Hey champ now you have to take my place in our family study well & protect your mother & younger brother. Ok! Now, dad needs sleep.
(Grim Reaper looks on his death watch & start's backward counting.)
Grim Reaper: 3,2,1
(As Grim Reaper pulls out the soul from the patient's body all machines stopped & his wife cried in a loud voice & doc declared him dead.)
Grim Reaper: Soul you did well in your life may you get heaven & you meet your loved ones once again in your next life.
(While Grim Reaper & soul were returning back to the Soul Court somehow the death watch fell out of the Grim Reaper's coat & landed somewhere on the earth. And when the Grim Reaper came out of the Soul Court after submission of the soul & for some reason he checked for something in his pocket at that moment he came to realise that his death watch has been missing.)
