Chapter 4: Protecting the Land

The Light army was ambushed by the Orc's upon entering the village. Defending themselves from the malevolent orcs, Tigreal shouted, "We did not come for a war, I need to speak with Lord Balmond!"

"What's your name boy?!" Put down your swords!" a voice behind the guards stopped them.

"Ah, my good friend,Tigreal! "

Walking towards the Light Army was the strongest orc of them all, Lord Balmond.

"We received a news that a stone giant was roaming around your village. Have you seen it?" Tigreal asked.

"Seen it? I tried to kill it!" Balmond answered laughing loudly.

"You can't really kill a stone giant with that axe." Diggie answered.

"Oh I can't? Well, he's still lucky to not come here for trouble."

"So you did see the stone giant?" Tigreal asked again.

"My guard did, he passed through the farm heading to the forest of pixies."

"Sprites. It's the forest of Sprites my Lord." Diggie interrupted.

"If he's heading to the forest of Sprites, we are not welcome there. The boastful prince is too proud to not get himself in to this war."

"You travelled far enough, let us all have dinner and drink till we drop! My friend has come to visit! Hooha" Balmond welcomed the visitors to his home and prepared dinner for everyone.

The night was festive, everyone was getting drunk. Suddenly,

"My Lord! There was a huge explosion near the entrance gate. Thamuz and his army is coming..A dark night wiped out the guards!"

"A dark knight?" Diggie was intrigued by the report he heard from the other room and walked towards the room's terrace to take look.

"Is that? It's Leomord.."

"What?!" Balmond and Tigreal rushed towards the door to see what's happening. Thamuz and his army is already on the front part of the village destroying everything on their path.

A bloody combat between Light and Dark started on the Orc's village. The orcs was not strong enough to stop Leomord and Thamuz killing every single one of them.

Lord Balmond was in pure rage seeing his village getting destroyed by the Dark Army. Battling beside Leomord is Thamuz and Vexana's trusted lieutenants Argus and Martis, the crystallized predator Zhask. The dark ninja Hanzo watches over the village hidden on the huge trees near the gate's walls.

Tigreal and his army tried to stop them but they were outnumbered.

"Your weakness satisfies me. Without your army, you are useless! I shall take your head to my queen." Thamuz exclaimed.

Leomord was convinced enough that Thamuz can handle the situation and left to search for the orb.

Suddenly, Thamuz sees a dash of light wiping his army on its path. "Who is that?"

"I can't see a thing!" Argus answered.

"Ding! Dong!" an Abyssal creature appeared right in front of him with a devil creature behind it, it was the assassin Selena. Killing every wounded enemy beside her is her sister Karina.

Martis faces the fast approaching fellow in front of him, he tried to stop it with his blades but failed to do so.

"Can't catch me! Over here! Nope, here!" He was really fast,Martis couldn't get a grip of him.

It was Prince Harith with his team of Esmeralda,Minotaur,Selena,Karina,and Rafaela entering the south gate.

"Who's outnumbered now?" Tigreal stood up facing Thamuz who tried to escape. Tigreal thrusts his sword into the earth pulling in Thamuz to towards himself.

"Where to you think you're going?!"

Thamuz was left alone, his army left running towards the ruined front gate leaving him behind.

"You cowards!"

Leomord and Hanzo was watching outside the village walls.

"Tell the queen what happened, Hanzo and I will stay behind. l will not fail my queen this time, I will figure out what they're up to.."

Little did they know, the shadow ninja saw them walking away from the village.
