The Church

The coachman stopped the carriage in front and looked at the big gothic style church. Tsk!! look at this place it's even much fancier's than the manor and garden of the Earl's, the lord of this town.

20 years ago these guys just suddenly appeared out of nowhere who called themselves the "Holy" people and followed their so called God Kashgar the God of health that cures illness and diseases of the lands and it's inhabitants.

These "Holy" people were said to have miraculous powers that could cure the diseases or "impurities" is what they call it, quickly gained the trust of the people and started building chapels in villages, churches in towns and a big Cathedral where their "Head" resided at, in the Kingdom of Hiems.

The people thought all of this was bullshit , but soon was now kneeling and begging for them to cure their diseases, going from every village and town, the influence of these "holy" people grew and grew, and started building chapels in villages and churches to Towns, until to the Kingdom.

Because of these sudden growth in power, there were some nobles that tried to accused these miraculous power as dark witchcraft and bunch of frauds.

There were even some rumors that because of the constant growing threat to the influence over his own lands, King Gryph VI secretly sent down assassins to kill the "head".

A month after the rumor spread, the King was soon found dead in his bed, the cause of death was said to be some sort of disease that even the best doctors in the kingdom didn't knew, as the King was pale and had no eyes, because of these the three prince began fighting for the throne, the youngest Prince NiphonIII who was timid and had the most disadvantage, because he had no support from the nobles, but still managed to grab victory because of the Church saying that "Our God Kashgar had chosen the third Prince

as the most wisest of all and will the Kingdom Hiems to prosperity".

Having the support of the Church and the people, the nobles and the other two prince had no choice but to back down and gave the 16 year old NiphonIII, the throne.

"tssk, those brainwashers and their stupid fanatics, just because they could do a little trick and that brainwashed King NiphonIII even changed the members of the high officials in the Kingdom, and made those "holy" people take their positions"

"I fear for the future of Continent of Reglesia, once the Church also spread their stupid beliefs to the other three Kingdoms"

Muttered the coachman under his breath.

The coachman opened the door to the carriage opened a big umbrella enough for the Earl and his lady as he accompanied them inside the church.
