Heart beat
The next day
Mica want early in the morning to hand over the project to
the CEO even though she did want to see him she could not do thing about it.
Then jack his assistance called her to come over the meeting
room and that CEO is waiting for her so she followed him with heavy steps.
Once she entered the meeting room it was full of people and
they kept staring at her ,then the CEO asked her to explain about the project
she worked in front of everyone, mica was worried if she was going to do it in
the right way , it was her first time to explain in group meeting since she
joined the company and all of sudden, she moved to the front, her hand were
shaking from the nervous then the CEO looked at her and held her hand without no one noticing
under the table and with his expression mica could read that he is telling her
that she could do it.
Mica tried to pull herself together and started explaining
the project. After she finished everyone applause for her then the CEO stranded
and said
"this project was assigned to group five you were responsible
for creating new Ideas and designs for weddings but you always brought the same
old style Ideas not only that but you also take a two weeks to prepare those
bullshit Ideas while miss mica was able to do it in three days with all the details
,what is the use of having a whole team while one person was able to do all the
works in just three days it just waste of my money ,jack I want you to fire everyone who
work in group five."
Jack "but if we do that the wor…."
CEO"do just as I said meeting finished"
After the meeting finished the whole team five was going to
get fired they were all blaming mica that she was the reason for that. She was
blamed for something she did not do, his assistance jack tried to talk to him
to change his mind but the CEO did not list to him and he was shouting to him
to go out. Mica wanted to talk to him but she was terrified to enter and then
she heard one of the team five members who she was going to fire crying while
talking to the phone to her husband that she got fired and they may not be able
to collect enough money for her son surgery.
After mica heard that she collected her courage and went to
talk to the CEO, but jack stopped her.
Jack "he is in bad mood if you enter you might get killed he is
smashing everything he found, he back to his usual self and here I thought he
changed after meeting you, did you guys fight by any chance "
Mica "do not worry he will not do anything to me, at least
that what I hope"
Then mica entered the office the CEO was working when he heard
the opening of the door he shouted that
he did not want to see anyone, then mica with unstable sound she said it's me.
The CEO looked at her and his angry face expression has changed totally when he
looked at her, mica collected her strength and asked him to change his mind of
firing all the employee , he looked at her and asked her why would he do such
thing .
Mica told him that those people who he fired have family to
feed and he could not do that to them all of sudden.
The CEO asked her again why she would help them and why she
is in their side they were the people who talked so bad about her, mica
answered while nodding her head even if they are like that if we do such bad
things what make us no different from them.
The CEO was surprised by her answer and laughed at her and
said "I know now why I really cannot get over you no matter what I tried the
past years" while smiling at that time mica heart beats for that nice warm
smile and then the CEO moved steps toward her but then mica moved steps away
from him without looking at him she asked him to think over about his decision
and left very fast.
While jack was waiting worried what might happened, once mica
went out of the office jack asked her many question but mica asked him to
excuse her and went to the toilet.
She washed her face many times and kept asking what just
happened her heart started to beat so fast for that smile, but she remembered
her promise to herself that she will not fall in love no matter what.
Once she went out of the toilet the employee were screaming
from happiness that the team five will not get fired, but the employee kept looking down at her and told her someone like her is just
disgusting using such method to fire a
whole team, they did not know that thanks to mica they did not get fired.
Mica did not care about what they were saying to her and
sited on her desk and continued her work.
In the afternoon while everyone were taking break she went to
the cafeteria to bring something to drink when she get back she found her desk in mess there were message saying
die you witch and other message saying
register now disgusting and her table were all covered by trash and some
drinks.
Manager Rebeca come and saw what happened and asked everyone
who did that but no one answered, mica smiled and said its ok they must be just
playing prank and started cleaning her desk.
While manager Rebeca went to the CEO office to get him sign
some papers ,she could not hide that mica was getting bulled by the employee since
she knows how much mica mean to the CEO and told him about what happened.
Once the CEO heard that he asked jack over and asked to check
the cameras to tell him who did that, the CEO was in range.
Even though they checked the cameras no one could be seen in
the part where mica desk got messed was not showed.
