The Castle

One knock was enough to silence the happiness

mira seems worried and ushered the children into back room ,while Elijah looked out the window through little gap between the curtains

ther were 2 men all in black clothes with a carriage. one of them was on the porch knocking the door which made it difficult for him to see his face while the was standing near the carriage looking around .

"they are from castle."mira whispered to herself but Elijah was successful in hearing because of his heighten sense, whose mistry he still didn't know .

he asked frowning"they are from which kingdom , I don't think they are from my kingdom if they were I would've recognized them, I don't think there is any kingdom nearby that I know of ."looking at them .

"there is ."mira said , old women stand by her book of spells reading something when they hear the shout of one of the men standing outside "mira don't try to protect your house from some spells ,you know we won't like to fight you, open the door and let us in or give the humans to us "

mira was turning pages furiously when Elijah looked at her with a reaction she couldn't say was fear or anger ,he stated "humans?,mira what is this, you know these people ?"with a troubled face

Elijah is ready to fight and protect his sister after all he is the prince and feared by everyone

he had his armour ,sword and other things still with him which he took from his home .

but sensing his thoughts mira stopped him by holding him by his hand .

"no Elijah ,you don't know these people and the dangers that follow them,you have a responsibility of your sister don't act so reckless "mira looked out the window through the small gap and said "you are not at the place where you think ."Elijah was now looking at her like she is gone mad ,he knew that he didn't get lost on the way even if he is the forest didn't belong to anyone "what do you mean no the place where I think ?"he asked angerely, watching the women.

"well let me tell you on a little secret we all had" the old women said calmly ,no more was this the lady that Elijah thought was innocent she hold much more things than she let others see.
