Dinner

"So you like it here ,huh?"

Miranda asked , playing with the spaghetti on her plate

Staring at Elijah with her piercing blue eyes .

She has brought Isla and Elijah on one of the towers of castle which were abandoned.

When she first came to the castle, she found when she was running away from  the vampire .

It was a scary place at first but great for hiding, and she knew that living in such castle, she will totally need a place to hide .

Later the vampire  was caught and taken care of, and the queen on one of the council meet ,clearly said she wants miranda protected.

So over the years, she converted the abonden tower into her hide away .

The top of the tower was small circular room decorated by small couch ,bed and a mini dining table near the large window which show the beauty of the dark world.

Where now the three of them sat ,

"Its great here ,I didn't thought there will be any beautiful place In here ." He said and stared outside the window towards the beautiful purple and sky blue lake which had golden flies flying over it .

"Its beautiful here ."Elijah said taking a bite of there food which miranda made it was truly tasty.

"I know right ,when I first came here the place was scary, but I made it mine and convert it into a nice and comfortable one ." She said ,looking at the sleeping figure of Isla on dining table, she had her head near the plate and drooling a bit .

She quietly stood up ,when Elijah see what she is about to do he motions her  for continue eating, that he will take care of his sister .

But miranda refuses and gently picks up the girl  ,for a five year old she is really easy to pick up .

Miranda tuck the sleeping figure in the bed and she quickly curls herself with the blanket around .

Miranda walks back and sat down on her seat across from Elijah

For Elijah

He watched her every move ,for him she was the most beautiful girl , lovely nice and innocent.

It was not the her beauty but her heart is the one which attracted him the most .

The way she acted around the others and the way she treated Isla, like her own sister.

It is all really nice ,but the thing that prevents Elijah from being comfortable here is the thought of these creatures

Miranda is human and the girl whom Isla played with .

But around the other he has to keep his eyes and ears open be at full alert

He knows that , he can't fight them without knowing what they are it's not like he can fight the creatures who can skip time , or  the ones disappearing in dark mist.

But Elijah has requested to the queen if he can start practicing for fight so that he can protect himself and his sister .

"Hey you ,you are not listening to what I am saying are you ?"

Miranda asked waving her fork in front of Elijah to take his attention

Elijah quickly pushed the fork when it was nearing to his right eye

"My apologise, I wasn't paying attention to what you were saying before  ,lately I have lot on my mind miranda. "

Miranda name didn't taste so sweet on his tongue, it never felt it was like he is addressing someone with an ordinary name of someone else.

"I understand Elijah, I was feeling the same when I first came here, all those  battle scars ,the pain and the ridiculous looking  creatures ,you know some dark  creatures look  beyond beautiful like in the castle but some are simply hideous like the ones living in the lower regions."she said  waiting for Elijah to say something.

"Well in castle too I don't see any beauty when they see me with those freaking eyes ." Elijah said and chuckles to himself

"Hey watch out , Merlin and zen are very nice ,they took care of me when I first came here ."miranda said tossing her brown hairs over her shoulder.

"What are you doing here filthy human ,i don't understand why you're going to stay at one of the nice chambers. "Elijah said sarcastically, trying to  mimic zen voice.

"Alright ,they were a bit harsh to you when you first came, but when you got to know them they are really nice ."

Miranda said scruncing her nose ,she crossed her hands across her chest waiting for Elijah to say something.

"Everyone says that and in the end the ones who don't show emotions shed some tears. "

Elijah said and seriously watched her .

Miranda couldn't keep quiet and both of them brust out laughing.

Calming down themselves so they don't wake the girl up.

It was quite , it was the first time when they talked this much and it felt good, both to Elijah and mirand .

She stared at him and he started back

The candle light dimly illuminated the room.

It felt perfect to mirand

She stared at him and smiled softly admiring handsome features of Elijah

The her eyes moves towards his pink lips

Inviting her, 

They both leaned forward,  slowly Elijah tilted his face so he can kiss her properly.

There face were just centimetres away

And then there lips touch

The most magical moment for the both

There it was then the sparks

They both felt it

But no one notice miranda glowing grey eyes.
