After our brief introduction, I gave her the cake and she insisted that I joined her to sit at her small garden so we could eat together. She was so happy to see the blueberry cheesecake. She said it was also her favourite. I tasted the tea that she made and it was the best I ever had. It was a mixture of peach, mint, honey, ginger and rose. I felt so invigorated ever time I took a sip. Then she picked some fresh hibiscus and told me to put some on my tea. It was amazing.
Her garden was small but there were varieties of herbs, roots, plants and flowers. Her mom had a huge garden when she was little. Her dad was a chemist and she developed a natural curiosity in nature at a very young age. " I sing to my plants and I kiss my flowers" she proudly said. " I love the purity and serenity of nature. In my past life, I would like to think that I was a real fairy that's why I chose that name for my shop" she added.
And then she asked me to tell my life stories. At first I did not want to because I did not want to ruin the whimsical ambiance present on that moment, but she insisted so I had no choice but to spill the beans.. That was what I truly needed after all.. to talk and talk until I got it out of my system.
I was dumped for being fat and to make matters worse, the bastard stole my money. I was humiliated and I was at my all time low. I loved that man very much. I gave everything because I wanted that relationship to work out. I endured insults and abuses from his grandparents who still lives with him, what a loser I know. I provided foods for the table, I neglected myself and my needs and they took advantage of me. When I finally stopped giving them my hard earned money, they threw me out of their place and that bastard did nothing and even pointed out how fat I was.
I did not realise that I was crying while I was telling Bella my story. Silence filled the place and one could almost hear the slightest splash of water from her small pond filled with fishes. I apologised for being overly dramatic and I told her that I needed to leave. She gave me a little bottle and told me to rub the oil on my wrists, chest and back before I sleep.
