Prideful Dragon

The temperature was unusually frosty in one of the student dorms, two beauties stood facing each other.

One of them was looking at the other with an irritated expression, while the other was timidly looking down at the floor.

"Body Enhancer? Are you sure that's what Ryuu said."

"Yes Sister!"

"You aren't playing those tricks of yours again, right? Well, I suppose not, since you shouldn't know about the truth about Body Enhancers."

The irritated beauty was Clarice Ryoko, one of the famous Twin Dragons.

Clarice was dressed in a white sweatshirt and black yoga pants, her hairs were tied neatly in a braid. She gave a refreshing aura to those who look at her.

She was irritated because her meditation was interrupted by her best friend Shiba, even when she had told her that she was going to meditate not long ago.

But her irritation decreased a lot after listening to Shiba's explanation.

"Sister Clarice, I know you told to not disturb you today. But as soon as I left your room and was heading towards the elevator. I saw the crowd gathering towards the cafeteria.

You know that I have the habit to poke my nose when something catches my curiosity. As a result, I also went to take a look at the cafeteria." Shiba said hastily with an innocent look in her eyes.

Clarice nodded in acknowledgment, She was well aware of this bad habit of her best friend.

"I had heard others mention the Big Foot of the Cafeteria before, but I had ignored it thinking that they were just making fun of a fatty with a large appetite.

I knew how wrong how I was when I laid my eyes on the mountain of plates visible as soon as I entered the cafeteria. But what hit the base was how handsome he was, God knows where that pile of food went in his slim waist." Shiba told with the same innocent eyes which were slightly shinning with interest now.

Clarice pulled one hand up in the air and landed a chop directly at the head of this innocent little bird.

"Ouch! Ouch! Ouch! Mercy Sister! Mercy!" Shiba pulled her tongue out and said while laughing slightly.

"Enough with the jokes. So after that, you saw Ryuu trying to recruit that boy but the boy refused. Which lead to Ryuu Intentionally releasing his identity of a Body Enhancer." Clarice said intending to get back to the topic.

"When I arrived the conversation between them was already over. I asked the students at the cafeteria about the incident. They told me that after Big Foot declined the offer of Ryuu.

Ryuu was infuriated and told that he can't hide the secrets of the so-called Body Enhancer with his strength alone. From the looks of it, he had exposed this unintentionally in rage."

"Him having a slip of tongue, that's news to me. From what I know of his personality this should have been his intention from the start. He must have done this in an order to draw him into a corner." Clarice snorted disdainfully

"So Ryuu intends to extort his secrets when he is cornered. " Shiba said angrily.

"Yes," Clarice sat back in the meditative posture. "I can never understand what made the skin of that Ryuu so thick. He was a talented individual, but he had gotten distracted lately."

Shiba left the room sighing softly, sometimes she hoped that her friend wasn't so oblivious. The only person that can call Ryuu to be weak is her.

That's because her power and skills were truly unmatched between her peers. Ryuu had lost already lost to her many times.

In the end, Ryuu understood that he can't defeat her, so he focused on increasing his collective power instead of personal power. All to defeat her.

But it didn't mean that his power was lacking. He was known widely as the Shameless Dragon, who uses every possible way to exploit the collective strength, to increase his own individual power.

Except for her friend Clarice, not many can contend with Ryuu head-on.

On the other hand, Clarice was solely focused on increasing her individual strength. She is known as the Prideful Dragon among the others.

She was probably the strongest female minion among these western parts. Guaranteed to become a Hero sooner or later.

But her stubbornness had left her alone, she didn't have many friends and of those whom she can trust was probably only Shiba.

"I hope that sister can let go of her pride and find others whom she can rely on. One cannot walk too far in this world alone." Shiba sighed while boarding the elevator.
