Chapter 6 the karmic system

The poison dragon broke apart into many small energy particles which gather together to form a hazy figure of Ruth, who should have been eaten.

Ruth, being formed by the energy particles of the dragon's soul is getting stronger and bigger by rapidly absorbing the energy, but soon an anomaly occurred.

His soul is getting bigger and bloated with the huge influx of energy which formed the dragon's soul. A dragon who has been living for a hundreds of years should have accumulated a massive amount of energy which a mere slime cannot withstand, his situation is like a battery that is overcharged and is about to explode.

His body can no longer accommodate the massive soul energy and he began to crumble apart from inside but the energy unceasingly poured into him, like an inflated balloon, he began to expand rapidly ready to burst apart at any moment. At this rate he will soon meet his maker.

Ruth is in semi conscious state and knew his own predicament. Shortly after one problem is solved, another came knocking. He is supporting his consciousness only by his sheer will power else he would have collapsed long ago.

The massive soul of a hundred year old dragon is not something a slime could bear.

He only wanted to grew stronger and identify the black hand behind all the manipulations in his previous life and enact vengeance. He did not expect that even before he got the chance to open his eyes he will be killed and that was also due to indigestion. How shameful would that be?

He began suppressing the massive energy in order to squeeze inside the limited space, but the energy is too much for him to handle at his current level. No matter how much energy he condensed there is no end to this energy, as if the dragon is still enacting his revenge.

Soon his consciousness began to waver, at this rate he would be blasted into a million fine particles and his soul will be completely annihilated.

Suddenly, there is a crisp sound, akin to a cracking of an egg shell, like a hatchling who broke through the layer of egg shell, Ruth feel that he had broken through a mysterious layer and stepped into a new realm.

Another crisp sound resounded inside his mind, following which all the energy dissipated like an illusion. Ruth could feel that all the energy is being crazily absorbed inside his chest area, he wanted to check what has absorbed so much energy in a mere second but he no longer has the liberty to do so. With the disappearance of the life-threatening situation, tiredness assaulted his mind and he lost his consciousness.

A loud sound rang out, the underground cave which was used to trap the poison dragon finally could not withstand the torment of the battle and finally crumbled.

There was a huge earthquake following which water began to flow in like a tsunami.

The entire underground cave was filled with water in a blink of an eye, following which a sink hole opened at the bottom which opened to a nearby river.

All of this happened in a blink of an eye, Ruth who was unconscious has no means to resist the turbulent flow of water and was thrown into the river along with the flow.

The dragon corpse was blown into smithereens by the boulders and the water pressure.

In the centre of the forest, Inside the city lord manor, everyone felt the vibrations caused by the earthquake. The captain of guards, The white tiger issued an order to investigate the cause for this incident. Many people have forgot that a dragon is being sealed by their ancestor, but the city lord guard captain knew the details. He furrow his brows and looked in the direction towards that cave.
