Sherlock is a new generation Dungeon Lord whose ambition is to become the greatest Devil King and building up the greatest Dungeon in the Underworld.
He summons a group of other-worldly goblins who give themselves strange names, form cliques, engage in commerce, and even fight among themselves.
They call themselves—Gamers!
it took me a while but I was finally able to find the raw. If you are like me and can't wait here you go. It currently only has 500 chapters. Give this novel a try, I currently like it so far. It is funny and more oriented in World of warcraft theme. So knights and wizards in the future I think. Also, more races to look forward to. Peace out :) https://book.qidian.com/info/1014988608
Very interesting and novel read for me. I thought this would be similar to most dungeon-building novels but this is pretty hilarious and unique. The protagonist is a demon lord starting a new dungeon and with the help of his dungeon core- Bru, he started to hire these 'otherworldly' laborers commonly known as gamers. 😂😂😂 It's really a unique and hilarious look to see the gamers slave their way to work for the MC as they treat everything as a game. - review from ch 12
Great novel!! After reading the few chapters, you'll hunger for more!! Damn, nice idea and concept here, I don't know if there are other novels like this, but this is surely the first for me.

I only read the rest on my old list if one if these do not update or go on hiatus.
Not another one of them demon king novels again! Demon king this, demon king that. Reasons to read this novel: None Reasons not to read the novel: Aplenty I hereby rest my case
Hello everyone! This novel has some major flaws. In my opinion, the greatest flaw is unrealistic gamers and lots of small flaws due to that. List of core flaws: 1) I would like to notice that gamers are not playing closed beta. Closed beta is a paid job where people are testing everything to find bugs. Closed beta testers can not post anything or disclose any information. We can let it slide thou, there are different companies out there. Untested game capsules from unknown game company... aren't it insanely suspicious? 2) In this novel people are complaining about bugs which is quite strange. For example WOW has bugs after each new update (since vanilla till BFA ^^ ), which is common for such huge game, and people are complaining and insult developers *in beta* ... aren't it absurd? Same for servers maintance. 3) People are not worried about lack of feedback and support mechanisms (again it is BETA testing!) 4) People are offering money for in game currency. 4.1) Looking at insane prices, real testers would have submited a report and wait while all prices would have been reduced (like in most betas). 4.2) In all betas that I know, all beta progress stays in beta, and real game is real game. 4.3) It is BETA, you do not play it, you test a game. 5) It is BETA testing! Developers ask for beta testing, not players. Most gamers can not play for more then 2 hours per day, and even those who can, usually refuse to play unrefined games. So thousands beta requests is kinda... Basic minor flaws are from biology. Let us take for granted that goblin is equal in strenght to a common human male. If human mine ore, excavate stone, cut something, etc he get bruises and small cuts. Without gloves even tough skinned man can not really mine or drag something without inflicting self damage. And now let us remember that tools are rude and have no handle... So goblins are tough as hell (more like made from steel ^^ ) or Demon Lord heals them every 2-3 hours (or they will just bleed to death). I can continue, but this review is already far too long. Thank you for your time and have a great day!
As of chapter 14 (newest at this point in time)I am in love with this book! Although I will be sad when this goes premium. I love the idea, especially how the mc is a npc (not really because he is alive but to the players he is an NPC) It is a really nice take on how npcs view the players. I am super sad that only 2 chapters come out a day and not the whole book but their is nothing I can do about it. It is also a lot better than this being a dropped book. If that did happen I would die of book withdrawal. Luckily we don’t need to worry about that as this is a paid book and has over 500 non translated chapters. How much do you think Webnovels translators get paid?
Honestly a very good book that is worth trying out if you like the gaming genera. Has a very good start for having just been released. Npc has to deal with the weirdos known as gamers as he tries to build his dungeon
I've read up to chapter 549. The story so far is entertaining. You have epic battles, a smart MC and an interesting plot that unfolds over time. However, there is a few deal breakers. There is a disgusting amount of misunderstandings in this fic. It gets to the point that its so unbelievable that it becomes another form of plot armor. Then we got reoccurring themes. Where a battle happens, the demons are losing until the MC and his immortal army swoops in. They then proceed to steal everything, get over whelming praise for their 'sacrifices', before the gamers start to ask everyone for a mysterious quest and the MC tells a sob story for cash. This repeats itself every freaking time no matter what small arc or scenario that occurs. And finally, the thing I hate the most is how in Beta version 1.0, they have 50million people joining. What happen to it being only 50thousand? The author forgot about what he said and goes into great detail on how only the chineses are allowed to play the game and the westerners are crying about the unfairness. The westerns tried to reverse engineer the gaming capsule but they couldn't do it. Now they have to sit at home and watch the glorious chinese having fun. 'Its kinda obvious what this is hinting too' Besides all these issues, this fic is a nice time sinker. It is above the other chinese fics and on par with the gamer fics from korea. Give it a try and you'll enjoy it. Now a few issues I have with the plot. First, all the gamers are naked savages. Second, there is no defined form of leadership/control over the gamers. Third, the MC doesn't recruit anybody to his dungeon to fight for him it is only the chaotic gamers. Fourth, there is alot of foreshadowing of the MC, but nothing is ever explained until the author just wants to add random stuff to his backstory on a whim. Finally, there is no character growth what so ever.
Didn't expect a dungeon novel to be this good. The story is basically about dungeon management with game element but the twist here is the player isn't the one controlling the dungeon but the other way around.
I couldn't get past chapter 1. If I see the words "Dungeon Core" put together anytime soon, I'm going to kick somebody. The way this is written is so weird, confusing, and childish. If I didn't see A-Z, I would not be sure it was English. I mean, Damn. And not to say the grammar was terrible, it's just... whoever edited or translated this probably doesn't use English that often, speaks often, or is still in High School. That's all I can say.

The first chapters just terrible but it rapidly picks up after that. The premise of the storys a lot of fun as well presenting an unusual take on the dungeon core genre.
I have a question, is there gunna be an update schedule or is it just gunna be random releases? I would love to know, it would be really helpfull. 😁
